CSP said that emergency responders arrived at Hwy 24 and Curtis Road around 11:30 a.m. where they found that two vehicles had crashed, ejecting one driver and pinning the other. The ejected driver was pronounced dead on scene and the pinned driver was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. There were no passengers reported in either vehicle.

Troopers are on scene investigating, and Hwy 24 is closed in both directions. Eastbound traffic is being diverted at Stapleton Road and westbound traffic is detoured at Scott Road. There is no estimated time for reopening and CSP asks that drivers plan alternate routes.
