Daniel Richard Green Jr., known by the common name Danny Green, is an American former professional basketball player. He has a proven record in college basketball at the University of North Carolina and in the NBA. In the course of his career, he is also known to be an NBA three-time champion with a reputation for strong defense and shooting beyond three-point range. He is the only player in ACC history to account for 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, 150 three-pointers, 150 blocks, and 150 steals.
