People share the most inappropriate comments they’ve made during sex – and the name mix-up that brought a woman to tears

IT’S supposed to be an intimate time, when a couple is closer to each other than ever.

But there are some people who have accidentally ruined sex with their partner by saying something that “killed” the mood for the evening.

Couples have revealed some mortifying situations that have called time on their sex-capades embarrassingly early[/caption]

One man admitted he’d called out his “hot flatmate’s name” while in bed with his girlfriend – leaving her in tears[/caption]

And several opened up about the mortifying moments in a thread on Reddit – with many admitting theirs has come about through them shouting someone else’s name in the throes of passion.

“I called my new girlfriend my hot flatmate’s name,” one wrote.

“She started crying.

“I started calling her darling, gorgeous or similar to avoid a repeat!”

“When she moaned and said, ‘Oh, Alan…..’ My name’s not Alan,” another added.

“Apparently she left out a few details when she told me about her stint studying abroad.”

While a third admitted they’d said their “ex’s name”.

Others revealed some very unusual situations that had called a premature end to their night, with one admitting: “I put on a Donald Trump voice and said ‘Are you ready to see Trump Tower, baby? It’s yuuuuuge. Tremendous.’

“I was just f**king around, and we both have pretty odd senses of humour, but she snapped shut like an angry oyster.

“Disclaimer: Not a Trump fan here. Just saying.”

While some people admitted having a pet in the room has had a big impact on their actions between the sheets.

“;Your dog is starting at me again, please take him away.’ Dog wouldn’t cooperate. Mood spoiled,” one wrote.

“I hate pets in the room!” another added.

“Holy hell, this one girl had a pug and finally I had to ask her to ‘move the snorting pervmutt outside for once.’

“I slept on the couch because pervmutt is apparently interchangeable!”

As a third said: “I’ve had it happen with a cat another time and that didn’t bother me as much.

Which generation is having the most sex?

A new report has lifted the lid on bedroom antics.

The research, conducted by experts at Kinsey Institute at Indiana University, revealed the average number of times people of different generations have sex per month.

  • Gen Z – three times a month
  • Millennials – five times a month
  • Gen X – five times a month
  • Boomers – three times a month

“A giant German Sheppard staring at you going at it with his owner was terrifying.

“Thankfully I didn’t get the couch treatment.”

“Cat is okay, mine seems to understand that grownups are mingling,” someone else wrote.

“Sees what is up and goes away.

“But dogs tend to want to join in the party, thinking we are playing or something!”

Nestle is bringing back the popular coffee-flavoured fondant wrapped in dark chocolate for the second Christmas in a row.

Coffee Creme chocolates will be available again this Christmas after being discontinued[/caption]

The Coffee Creme flavour was a staple included in Quality Street tubs more than 20 years ago and was reintroduced last year by the chocolatier.

Fans of the festive treat will be able to get it again this year, but will not be able to find the delicious flavour by rummaging through their usual Quality Street tubs though.

Instead, this Christmas they can be found at 20 pick and mix stations at certain John Lewis shops in the UK.

The first pick and mix station opened on Wednesday at John Lewis’s flagship store on Oxford Street in London.

Other stores in areas including Leicester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool and Solihull will begin rolling out the selections throughout October.

You can see the full list of stores where they are available below.

Shoppers can purchase a Quality Street tin in the shop or bring their own to fill up.

Pick and mix tins cost £17 but the price drops to £14 if you bring your own tin from a previous year.

But shoppers who don’t live near a John Lewis pick and mix station do not need to worry as they will still be able to get their hands on the festive treat elsewhere too.

The Coffee Cremes will also be available in limited-edition crackers online and in Waitrose and John Lewis stores for £5.50.

Plus chocolate-lovers can also buy a pouch containing the beloved sweets for £4.50.

The crackers and pouches can be picked up in all 34 John Lewis stores and more than 270 Waitrose stores.

A 813g tin of Quality Street without Coffee Cremes costs £12 at Waitrose.

But Tesco shoppers with a Clubcard can pick up a 600g tub for just £3.95.

John Lewis said: “We couldn’t not listen to our loyal Quality Street fans when they pleaded with us to bring back Coffee Creme for another year… so we are delighted to reveal that you have one more chance to get your hands on this iconic sweet!

“This indulgent little chocolate packs a powerful flavour punch with its creamy coffee fondant centre, encased in a smooth, luxurious dark chocolate.”

Coffee Creme is one of 12 flavours that shoppers can add to their tins at the John Lewis pick and Mix stations and popular flavours including the green triangle are also available.

Plus this year Quality Street has a range of new products exclusive to John Lewis and Waitrose.

‘Absolute joke’ rage Iron Maiden fans as Run For Your Lives tour goes on sale with ‘ridiculous’ prices

IRON Maiden fans have been left fuming at the “ridiculous” prices for their Run For Your Lives tour.

Last week, the rockers revealed their upcoming UK and Ireland tour dates celebrating 50 years of monster madness.

Iron Maiden fans have been left furious at Ticketmaster after tour prices skyrocketed[/caption]

Some fans have claimed ticket prices have shot up to over £800[/caption]

The bands, who are synonymous with their zombie-like mascot Eddie, are promising fans the “most spectacular and elaborate show ever”.

Excited fans raced to Ticketmaster today to get their hands on the tickets – but were shocked to find that prices had skyrocketed.

This angry fan raged at the ticket selling website: “Tickets for London opened today. Prices went from £130 to £895 in less than an hour. Absolute joke.

“I’ve followed Maiden for years and have several tats. They are pricing the real fans out. Absolute joke.”

A second agreed and said: “Holy s***. £109+ for Iron Maiden. Yeah, it’s safe to say the band can get f***** with those prices. Ironic considering Bruce Dickinson was complaining about bands ripping fans off. What the actual f***! Live music needs to die. Not worth it!”

A third said: “So many of us fans can’t go cause of Ticketmaster hiking prices and linking tickets to hotel stays , £369 for a standing ticket.”

“I know they’ll probably still sell it out, but iron maiden *starting* their standing prices for London stadium at £108 is grim,” this person shared.

One simply stated: “Iron maiden prices are ridiculous.”

Another added: “Correct. Massive jump from the (already expensive) £80 I paid for last years Future Past. 50% increase for my Manchester ticket. Ridiculous.”

The band’s singer Bruce Dickinson has previously spoken out against extortionate ticket prices which can have a negative impact on the music industry.

“Well, two things. One, it depends what the show is and kind of who the audience are,” he told Blabbermouth.Net

“I mean, I’m not gonna go around and say specific artists, because most of the artists that are charging, like, 1,200 dollars a ticket — like in Las Vegas, if you wanna go and see the U2 show, I think it was 1,200 dollars per seat in the sphere.

“I’ve got no interest in paying 1,200 dollars to go and see U2 in the sphere — none.

“A hundred bucks, maybe. But for me, what’s important is to try and keep, on the one hand, the right type of tickets at the right price.

“So by that I mean the right type of tickets, I mean, the tickets that are in front of the stage, which everybody says should be the most expensive tickets.

“Actually, no, they should be the most reasonably priced tickets, ’cause the people who are gonna go there to the front of the stage are gonna be people who are real fans, people who are kids, people who can’t afford the crazy money, but they are the people that need to be down the front; they’re the people that are gonna keep this music alive.”

Earlier this month, the band announced the anniversary world tour on social media.

Their band’s account wrote: “The Run For Your Lives World Tour will kick off on May 27th next year in Budapest followed by 27 stadium, festival & arena shows around Europe.

“The tour marks 50 years since Steve Harris formed the band in late 1975 and to celebrate this Maiden fans are promised a very special set list, spanning the nine studio albums from ‘Iron Maiden’ to ‘Fear Of The Dark’, with their most spectacular and elaborate show ever!”

The UK dates include Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and a huge show at the London Stadium, home to bassist and founder Harris’s beloved West Ham United.

Another massive show is lined up for Malahide Castle, Dublin, where support will come courtesy of American rockers Halestorm and Brit metallers The Raven Age.

Maiden said: “Special Guests for the first half of the tour, including the London & Dublin outdoor shows (but not the UK arenas), will be American rockers Halestorm.

“The second half of the tour sees Sweden’s Avatar as guests. And, finally, British metal band, The Raven Age, will open all UK & Ireland shows.”

Ecstatic fan are now predicting Maiden will headline Download Festival next summer too.

One commented: “Download 2025 headliner for sure.”

Another said: “They’re tears of joy, I swear.”

The Irons are known for their galloping rhythms and epic songcraft, often drawing inspiration from famous literature and historic moments.

There have been numerous personnel shifts over the years but the current line-up consists of Steve Harris, guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers. frontman Bruce Dickinson and drummer Nicko McBrain.

Dickinson, who is also a qualified pilot and often jets the band around the world in the famous Ed Force One 747, replaced original singer Paul Di’Anno in 1981.
