Strictly fans left unimpressed by show’s ‘cringiest moment ever’ right before Tasha Ghouri’s dance

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have been left unimpressed by what some have coined the ‘cringiest moment ever’ on the show.

It happened last night just before Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec took to the dance floor for their Viennese Waltz.

The moment happened as Tasha Ghouri’s dance was about to be introduced[/caption]

Host Tess Daly was gearing up to introduce Tasha and Aljaz’s training segment, when she headed over to judge Craig Revel Horwood.

She said: “Right now on the dance floor is Tasha and Aljaz, they got off to a great start last week.

“In fact, there’s only really one way to describe our social media star isn’t there Craig?”

Craig knowingly turned to Tess and replied: “Skibidi rizz, darling. Ski-bi-di rizz!’”

Viewers at home were left baffled by the word, and Urban Dictionary reveals: “the phrase is the second-highest level of Rizz’, a Gen-Z diminutive version of the word ‘charisma’.”

Fans of the show accused Craig of trying to be “down with the kids” by using a word to appeal to younger viewers of the show.

On social media, one person wrote: “craig saying skibidi rizz on strictly is the worst thing to happen the this society.”

Another said: “That was unbelievably cringe,” and a third person added: “First we got demure, now we got skibidi rizz… What the f***is going on with strictly? This is literally them rn.”

A fourth wrote: “This is the worst thing the show has ever done. Gen Z just turned to dust.”

Someone else said: “my poor gran loves strictly but she’s sick and has enough to contend with without having to hear tess daley say skibidi rizz.”

Meanwhile, Strictly contestant Tasha had to hit back at fix claims again after breaking the show record.

The former Love Island reality star wowed the judges with her Viennese waltz on week two of the competition.

She has previously come under fire due to claims she had previous “professional training”.

But on week two, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse gave Tasha and her partner Aljaž  a standing ovation after their routine.

Three of the judges – including Craig Revel Horwood – called her routine the “dance of the night.”

Anton Du Beke was also extremely complimentary as he exclaimed: “‘Give us a chance to do something bad, I’d like to mark you down.”

Despite it being only the second week, she scored a whopping 35 points as she received nine points from Shirley, Anton and Motsi

Claudia Winkleman also revealed that it was the highest ever score of a Viennese waltz in week two in Strictly Come Dancing history.

Viewers couldn’t help but take to X – formerly known as Twitter – as they declared that she had already earned her spot in the final.

“Three 9’s in week 2???? tasha is a force to be reckoned with,” wrote one fan.

A second user posted: “Tasha’s cinched her way to the final. Like give her the 10’s right now.”

While a third commented “Does Tasha have dance experience? if not ..for week 2 …I think we maybe seeing the winner … it was like watching 2 professionals!”

However many berated the routine as they blasted her casting because of her prior professional dance training.

Another fan said: “Not sure Tasha being on this years Strictly is entirely fair on the rest of the contestants. She is far and away the best dancer, but she is of course a dancer by profession.”

Someone else raged: “Tasha ghouri is a dancer so of course she can dance! Ffs.”

As an additional user stated: “Of course Tasha is a fab dancer….wouldn’t expect anything else from someone who used to be a professional dancer. I’m interested in how those who’ve never danced, or had little dance experience, improve, so Tasha will get no votes from me.”

Andy Carroll grows close to Harry Styles’ hairstylist Lou Teasdale following shock split from Billi Mucklow

ANDY Carroll has grown close to celebrity hairdresser Lou Teasdale following his split from Billi Mucklow, sources claim.

The former West Ham ace confirmed to The Sun On Sunday he was divorcing Billi after two years of marriage.

Lou, 40, who is best known for being One Direction’s hair stylist, split from her boyfriend, SAS Who Dares Wins star Jay Morton in January last year.

Sources claim Andy, 35, and Lou, 40, started hanging out together after he had ended his union with 36-year-old former Towie star Billi.

An insider said: “Andy and Lou have apparently been on a few dates and people have said she’s even been to France, where he plays for Bordeaux, to see him.

“Billi will be shocked when she hears that Andy appears to have moved on so quickly.

“Her only concern has been for the three children they share together.”

Andy and Billi have three children aged nine, six, and four. Andy also has two children, aged 15, and 14, from a previous relationship.

They had been together for 11 years and wed at the Four Seasons hotel in Hampshire in 2022.

In a statement to The Sun On Sunday, Andy said: “Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings.

“It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.”

Friends close to Andy and Billi said they were trying to focus on creating a stable environment for their children.

Their wedding in the summer of 2022 almost didn’t happen after a photograph from Andy’s stag do in Dubai showed him in bed with two women.

Billi initially moved out of their home but later forgave Andy when one of the women, Taylor Jane Wilkey, insisted nothing had happened between them.

Andy currently splits his time between the UK and France, after signing to fourth tier side Bordeaux.

He previously played for Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham and scored 54 goals in 248 appearances for his clubs.

Morgan Rogers levelled for the visitors after a quarter of an hour, playing a one-two with Ollie Watkins inside the area before he lashed a smart finish into the bottom corner.

And Unai Emery’s side completed the turnaround 13 minutes before half-time when an unmarked Watkins headed Villa in front.

Ipswich pressed for an equaliser after the break and got their reward in the 72nd minutes in superb fashion as Delap breezed past Diego Carlos with two delightful step overs and rifled into the far corner.

The result sees Kieran McKenna’s men climb out of the relegation zone and up to 15th, while Villa miss out on moving level on points with table-toppers Liverpool as they remain fifth.

Mrs Hinch fans swear by £2 trick to keep water bottles clean & stop mould from clinging to those hard to reach spots

MOST of us are probably guilty of not drinking enough water, but for one woman hydration is the least of her problems.

Instead, it’s keeping her pesky water bottles clean after using the same one every day.

Drinking water from a reusable bottle is a great way to stay hydrated throughout the day[/caption]

Keeping the bottles cleaning doesn’t have to be such a chore[/caption]

Taking to the popular Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, the woman, who is called Vicky, explained she usually has to buy new water bottles because they start to leak or break.

“I drink a lot of water, I will likely drink five to six bottles a day.

“I am always buying water bottles as I drop them etc. or they start leaking,” the wrote.

Finally, the H2O fan managed to get her hands on a bottle she loves, but she’s been left with one issue – keeping it clean.

The issue, she explained, is that the mouthpiece is hard to reach so gets particularly dirty, and she’s even spotted mould in there.

“Thankfully it’s sort of clear so can see it,” she said.

“I have tried to remove it to see if I can clean it but it doesn’t come off.

“I end up using a cotton bud to clean it, it does however worry me how much is there possibly in the straw and further down the mouthpiece that I can’t get to.”

Despite rinsing it thoroughly after every use, it still didn’t look very clean.

Vicky added: “It still gets the black mould stuff in the mouth piece. Any idea of how I can clean the mouthpiece and the straw bit?”

Well, luckily the fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch came prepared with plenty of tips and tricks to banish dirt and mould from those hard to reach spots.

The cleaning fans overwhelmingly suggested one cheap trick – Milton Sterilising Tablets.

They can be bought for as little as £2 in most supermarkets, so it’s a great budget-friendly option and will stop you having to fork out for a new water bottle.

“Milton. 100% soak it for some time do it all the time with mine,” one cleaning whizz commented on the post.

“I soak all my children’s water bottle tops in Milton and water and I’ve never had a problem with smelly tops of mould build up. Works great,” a second agreed.

“Soak in a Milton tablet, clears without having to do anything,” a third wrote.

And another agreed: “Milton tablets are perfect for this, you don’t even need to scrub.”

Meanwhile, others suggested using a straw cleaner for that extra piece of mind, but not everyone thought it was needed.

How often should you clean your water bottle?

You might think because it’s only water your water bottle doesn’t need to be cleaned very often, but you’d be wrong.

You should be cleaning your water bottle every day to avoid germs, according to cleaning expert Leslie Reichert.

“Germs will grow on your reusable water bottles after each and every use,” Reichert told Apartment Therapy.

“Combined with the fact that mold and mildew thrive in moist, dark areas—let’s just say this is not a container you would want to drink anything out of.”

If you have a screw-top bottle, the cleaning process is easy enough.

Be sure to check your water bottle’s product details before throwing it in the dishwasher.

For bottles with more complex tops, you can use a bottle brush to get to the bottom of the bottle and a small bottle brush, like a straw brush, to clean the nooks of the lid.

For everyday maintenance, you can use warm water and detergent to clean out the water bottle.

First look at new ‘budget-friendly’ Skoda SUV debuting fresh logo as official release set just days away

SKODA has introduced its new “budget-friendly” SUV, showcasing its updated logo, with the official launch anticipated in just a few days.

The sleek new model will mark the car brand’s third electric vehicle to hit showrooms.

Similar to Volkswaggen’s EVs the Elroq will feature a 82kWh pack[/caption]

The brand-new SUV is set to be unveiled on October 1, according to Skoda.

Built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, Skoda’s Elroq will compete with Volvo’s EX30 and MG 4 EV as a “budget-friendly” city car.

Motorists looking to get behind the wheel of Skoda’s new SUV will need to spend between £30,000 and £35,000, which is around £11,000 lower than the average price of an electric SUV.

Similar to Volkswaggen’s EVs the Elroq will feature a 82kWh pack.

The same battery can be found in Skoda’s Enyaq model which has range of 348 miles.

A cheaper model boasting a 58kWh pack is expected to be released next year, according to Autocar.

The Elroq’s interior will include a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen complemented by a range of physical buttons for controlling climate functions.

To promote sustainability, Skoda announced that many of the materials used in the Elroq are sourced from recycled plastic bottles and textiles.

It follows a little-known car brand which is set to launch an incredibly cheap EV with seats that convert into beds.

Dongfeng, one of the largest car makers in China, has arrived in Europe with the Nammi Box budget EV.

The Chinese state-owned company’s new EV is set to rival the Citroen e-C3, currently one of the cheapest in the European market costing £21,035.

Dongfeng has already launched its car in Switzerland for just £19,615.

The brand-new EV will boast a 42.3kWh battery and will offer an impressive range of 193 miles.

In comparison, the £21,000 e-C3 has a range of 199 miles from a 44kWh battery.

The Nammi Box’s interior will feature a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen at the centre point of the dash.

The affordable EV will also boast reclining front seats that can be transformed into a makeshift bed.

The new car also features a distinct black and white interior using high-quality materials.

While the Dongfeng model’s exterior appears bulky with its rounded shapes, its extending door handles, frameless windows, unusual headlights and two-tone look are similar to other Smart models.

To keep costs down, the Nammi Box may be one of the first vehicles produced at the company’s proposed factory in Italy.

Dongfeng is reportedly in discussions with the Italian government about creating the site, according to Reuters.

Due to expensive new EU import taxes on Chinese-made EVs, securing the new plant will allow the company to avoid hefty charges.

Since its unveiling at the Guangzhou Auto Show, the Nammi Box has been available to order from prices raging from £8,600 to £11,800, according to CarNewsChina.

Currently, there are no further details on Dongfeng’s wider release date.

It comes after one of Europe’s largest car firms is reportedly set to scrap to of its beloved models soon.

And car production in the UK has dwindled for the sixth straight month as factories continue winding down their key models.
