Luke Littler says ‘game’s still gone’ after Man Utd win appeal against Bruno Fernandes’ red card

DARTS sensation Luke Littler has hit out at the FA over Bruno Fernandes’ red card – despite the decision being reversed.

Man Utd star Fernandes has been cleared of wrongdoing after being sent off in Sunday’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The Portuguese had been given a straight red card during Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Spurs[/caption]

Littler is an avid Man Utd fan and spoke out after the incident at Old Trafford.

Fernandes found out on Tuesday his appeal against the sending-off had been successful.

FA bosses agreed with United that Fernandes had slipped before he crashed into Spurs’ James Maddison.

Littler posted a snap on Instagram Stories after Ferndandes’ appeal was revealed to be a success.

But the 17-year-old United supporter was not impressed, writing: “The games still gone.”

Fernandes will now be available for United’s next three games as boss Erik ten Hag faces a make-or-break run of fixtures.

The midfielder had raged against the decision on Sunday, which occurred just before the half-time break at Old Trafford.

Fernandes told reporters: “Even James Maddison when he gets up he said it’s not a red card.

“If this is a red card we have to look at many other incidents.

“I don’t understand why VAR doesn’t call him [referee] to the screen.

“The red card makes it worse. I have to appreciate all the effort my team-mates have done to try and return to the game but it wasn’t possible.

“They showed great effort and character and I was happy for that.”

United take on Porto tomorrow in Lisbon, with ten Hag’s job potentially on the line.

Man Utd ratings vs Tottenham

MANCHESTER UNITED suffered a 3-0 thrashing against Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Captain Bruno Fernandes was sent off in the first half for fouling James Maddison, forcing Erik Ten Hag’s side to play with 10 men against Ange Postecoglou’s team.

After back-to-back draws against Crystal Palace and FC Twente fans hoped United would redeem themselves against Spurs.

However, the match at Old Trafford quickly turned sour. Brennan Johnson scored early and things worsened when Fernandes was sent off allowing Spurs to extend their lead to 3-0.

And here is how SunSports Charlie Wyett rated the Manchester United stars.

Andre Onana – 5

Stood his ground to deliver a good save from Timo Werner who was clean through – no chance for either goal.

Noussair Mazraoui – 5

First in the refs’ book for chopping down Destiny Udogie. Could also have blocked Micky van de Ven for the goal. Just watched Solanke make it 3-0.

Matthijs de Ligt – 4

Shocking first half. Failed to cut out the cross from Micky van de Ven which led to the first goal.

Lisandro Martinez – 5

Switched off for the Spurs goal and was drawn to the ball and Johnson was left unmarked.

Diogo Dalot – 5

Gave the ball away in dangerous areas and struggled against Johnson.

Manuel Ugarte – 5

Suffered a stinker and was lucky to last until the 73rd minute.

Kobbie Mainoo – 5

Not one of his better performances and was taken off just before half-time following Fernandes’ sending-off.

Marcus Rashford – 5

Over-ran the ball for Tottenham’s first. Way off the pace.

Bruno Fernandes – 4

Arguably the worst captain in United’s history. Deserved red card for his challenge on James Maddison.

Alejandro Garnacho – 6

Had United’s only chance in the first half but hit the outside of the post. Improved in the second half.

Joshua Zirkzee – 5

Looked completely lost up front – threatening to be another poor Erik ten Hag signing. Replaced at half-time.

Subs:

Mount (for Mainoo 45)  5, Casemiro (for Zirkzee 46) 7, Hojlund (for Rashford 73) 5, Eriksen (for Ugarte 73) 5.

The 54-year-old is now the bookies favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked.

Following the Porto test, the Red Devils travel to face Aston Villa on Sunday.

Littler meanwhile has found out his opening fixtures for the World Grand Prix.

Inside Littler's massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship at the beginning of the year.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has then gone on to win a host of PDC events and the Premier League title – which he claimed at the O2 Arena by beating world champion Luke Humphries in May.

He also finished his first season in the World Series as the No1 ranked player.

He has joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

But he is newly single after splitting from girlfriend Eloise Milburn following a 10-month relationship.

Check out all of our latest Luke Littler stories.

He faces an uphill battle from the first round after being paired with former world champion Rob Cross.

The teenage star struggled at last week’s Swiss Darts Trophy.

He was beaten in the last 16 by Luke Humphries, with Littler broken three times and increasingly frustrated throughout the match.

Fans even thought he “gave up” in the eighth leg as he laughed off two dismal darts and chucked his third in anger.

I was left with ‘Frankenstein boobs’ after botched surgery -I have to stuff my bra with sponges to make them look normal

A WOMAN has revealed that she was left with “the breasts of Frankenstein”, after a botched surgery.

Esmerelda, 21, went under the knife when she was just 18 to reduce the size of her boobs, and has since had multiple procedures to try and fix them.

By the time she graduated from school, Esmerelda’s boobs were already a triple D, and gave her intense back pain.

“They were too much”, she told Botched.

However, soon after the surgery, she noticed that a strange smell was emanating from underneath her shirt.

“I feel like I know what a dead body smells like now”, she revealed.

“The skin smelled like it was dying”, her mum added.

For the next six months, Esmerelda visited her surgeon up to three times a week, so that he could cut off the dead skin, and try and fix her breasts.

She said that her surgeon never told about any of the complications that could occur after the surgery, and just told her to put vaseline on her wounds.

Esmerelda now has to be extremely careful with what she wears, as her chest is covered in scars, and has to stuff her bra with sponges, as one of her boobs is now bigger than the other.

“It sucks that after the reduction I now don’t have breasts to fill up bras”, she said.

“Never in a million years did I think this was going to be the outcome.

“I feel like I don’t deserve this.”

After looking at Esmerelda’s breasts, Dr Paul Nassif said that he felt “nauseated”.

“What the hell are we going to do to fix them?” he asked.

Five signs your plastic surgeon is dodgy

  • No Medical Background: The practitioner lacks any medical qualifications or background.
  • Limited Training: They have only undergone minimal training, often just a one-day course.
  • No Professional Association: The practitioner is not affiliated with any recognised professional body.
  • Cheap Prices: They offer treatments at significantly lower prices than reputable professionals.
  • No Aftercare: There is a lack of proper aftercare and follow-up support post-treatment.

“This is the worst complication from a breast reduction I’ve ever seen”, said Dr Terry Dubrow.

After six months, Esmerelda’s wounds healed, but her nipples went hard and black.

They eventually fell off, leaving her feeling distraught.

Her mother encouraged her to go to a different doctor to get a second opinion, but she said she was too embarrassed to show her breasts to anyone else.

Asked whether she had been back to her surgeon again, Esmerelda revealed that she hadn’t.

“They don’t care that I’m going through this”, she said.

“At this point I have no hope.”

“Or I could just be reading too much into things as usual.”

The Sun previously revealed how cast and crew are furious over the return of dancer Aljaž Škorjanec — as it emerged he left the show under a cloud after a “shocking” altercation with a female professional.

Aljaž, 34, agreed to go after the incident on a boozy night out on the 2022 live tour.

The BBC denied an official complaint was made over the incident.

Stacey Solomon’s future on Renovation Rescue revealed weeks after she bagged NTA for Sort Your Life Out series

DIY queen Stacey Solomon is on a high after her BBC show Sort Your Life Out bagged a National Television Award last month.

But I can reveal she will be saying goodbye to her Channel 4 programme, Renovation Rescue — which is a surprise given who is behind it.

In a twist of fate, just as Stacey leaves Channel 4, it is giving a new show to her fella, Joe Swash – pictured here with their kids[/caption]

The prestige programme is from Hello Sunshine, a production company headed by movie star Reese Witherspoon.

A TV insider said: “Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with the Beeb.

“They’ve been a huge success and the NTA win is evidence that the viewing public love what she does.”

But in a twist of fate, just as Stacey leaves Channel 4, the channel is giving a new show to her fella, Joe Swash.

He is pairing up with bestselling food author and social media sensation Suzanne Mulholland — also known as The Batch Lady — in new six-parter Buy It, Batch It, Cook It.

Together they will meet a broad mix of families who need advice on how to make their food budgets go further, their menus more organised, and their meals better.

And their plan is simple — to cut meal prep times down to just one hour a week by batch cooking, freezing, and storing multiple meals.

Joe said: “Suzanne and I are hoping to give households the tools to not just save the pennies and the pounds, but also have more time to spend on being together as a family.”

And with Stacey giving up her renovation show, she and Joe will have more time together too.
