A FASHION fanatic has hailed a bargain Tesco buy that means she won’t have to put the heating on this winter – and it looks stylish too.

Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw who returned to the Scottish club this season after a loan spell at Wigan Athletic.

She regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfit creations with followers on social media.

With sweet gifts from her footballer beau, her dressing room is packed with designer handbags, jewellery and footwear.

But the down-to-earth WAG still loves to hit her local supermarket for fashion buys too.

In a recent video, the newly engaged blonde beauty bagged an autumn/winter must-have in Tesco.

The supermarket’s F&F black fleece is priced at just £19.50.

Ellie did pick it up in the sleepwear section but insists she will be wearing it out and about too.

Trying it on at home, the size 10 WAG said: “We all love our comfy fleeces when we’re getting into autumn and winter

“I’ve picked this one up. This was £19.50 and this is in a medium.

“It’s so incredibly soft. I think it’s pyjamas but I would 100% live in this when I’m walking Ace [my dog] in the winter.”

She added: “When it’s cold you want to just be comfy in the house. This is the perfect thing when you’re in the house to throw on.

“It’s basically like a dressing gown but you can wear it out, so good for layering.

“I’d probably do leggings and Uggs, that would be my basic outfit for this, or around the house with pyjamas if you don’t want to put the heating on.

“It’s just so comfy and oversized.”

And her fellow fashion fans are loving her cheap, cosy buy.

“I am running to Tesco”, vowed one.

“I don’t think I’ve ever bought myself any clothing from Tesco before. That will be changing today!”

A second wrote: “I have been raving about Tescos clothes for YEARS they’re soo good and now ppl are catching on.”

Meanwhile, a third simply added: “Need.”

Vlogger Ellie has been with her football ace beau since before his time at Celtic.

Liam proposed to girlfriend Ellie during a holiday to Jamaica in May.

The childhood sweethearts got together when Liam was on the books at Sheffield Wednesday.

His time at Celtic hasn’t quite worked out on the pitch, with the 23-year-old having only played two games for the club since signing under Ange Postecoglou in 2021.

He had loan stints at Motherwell and Morecambe in previous seasons and despite the upheaval, he and Ellie have grown stronger.

Sharing news of their engagement accompanied by a pic of her huge diamond ring on social media, smitted Ellie said: “Always and forever.

MANCHESTER UNITED cult hero Federico Macheda has signed for his THIRTEENTH club just 15 years after his iconic debut against Aston Villa.

The Italian striker, 33, was most recently at Turkish Super Lig side Ankaragucu, where he netted just once in 14 games.

Macheda made just ONE appearance for them last season after falling out of favour.

But he is now set for a brand new start after moving to Greece.

Macheda has penned a deal with top-flight side Asteras Tripolis.

And he will be managed by none other than Chelsea legend Claude Makelele, who took charge last month after a trophy-laden playing career.

Macheda is now at his 13^th club, having made his pro debut at United 15 years ago in 2009.

The forward immediately endeared himself to fans by netting a 93^rd minute winner against Aston Villa aged 17.

And he remains United’s youngest-ever Premier League scorer to this day.

But a dip in form and several injury setbacks saw Macheda get less and less chances under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He embarked on a series of loans to Sampdoria, QPR, Stuttgart, Doncaster and Birmingham.

And Macheda was finally released in 2014 after five goals in 36 outings, with Cardiff quickly moving for him.

The former Italy U21s star netted eight goals in 33 games for the Welsh side while also taking in a brief loan spell at Nottingham Forest.

In 2016 he moved to Italy’s second tier with Novara, scoring 11 times in 52 games across two campaigns.

And Macheda then ended up spending four seasons with Panathinaikos, clocking up 116 appearances and 40 goals in the process.

His 2022 move to Ankaragucu did not work though, with Macheda joining his 12^th club APOEL on a six-month loan.

But the ace is determined to have another successful stint in Greece, with Makelele hopeful of helping Macheda rediscover his best form with 13th side Asteras.

MARRIED At First Sight fans have slammed Polly and Holly for “ganging up” on Charlie and unfairly branding her a “bully”.

Charlie and Eve hit it off on the wedding day but their relationship has gone down hill ever since after a string of rows.

In tonight’s episode, the couples reunited for the second dinner party, with Eve and Charlie arriving together.

This shocked some of the brides, especially Polly, who Eve had confided in.

During a conversation with fellow co-star Holly, Polly said: “Eve and Charlie, I don’t have high hopes for them at all. It’s giving toxic.”

Holly replied: “It actually upsets me because Eve has such a big heart and she genuinely just wants to be loved off someone.”

Polly went on: “Some of the stuff Eve said about Charlie was awful.

“They’re not seeing each other enough because Charlie’s mean – now I can understand what Eve was saying on the sofa, when she said ‘don’t be mean to me’.

“She is f****** mean, if anything she is bit of a bully.”

The experts were gobsmacked by her remark, with Paul C Brunson saying: “Strong word.”

While Charlene Douglas said: “That’s such a strong statement when actually Polly doesn’t know both sides of the story.”

Polly then demanded to know from Eve why she walked into the dinner party with wife Charlie.

Expert Mel Schilling shared: “That’s really confronting isn’t it. What’s it got to do with you Polly? At this point she’s really inserting herself into someone else’s relationship.”

Polly then pulled Charlie for a chat and told her that she was a “bully” – leaving Charlie mortified.

Fans have slammed Holly and Polly for getting involved.

One wrote: “Polly has got a f****** nerve coming for Charlie when her husband doesn’t even find her attractive and she’s draping herself over him at every opportunity.”

A second posted: “Hopefully H-Polly feel like absolute idiots tonight re-watching this! If I was Charlie I wouldn’t talk to them ever again.”

While others slammed Eve for spreading rumours about her wife.

This person shared: “Eve has done the narcissistic tactic of getting others on her side. B*******g/lying about your partner/wife is a massive.”

A second said: “Character assassination. Classic narcissistic trait, get the others on side.”

Charlie was left in floods of tears after Eve confessed to her that she felt she had been “mentally” abused.

After some time away, Charlie returned to the table and Polly offered her an apology.

But the experts insisted that their feud was far from resolved.

As the second episode of Cast Away aired on Channel 5, Phil opened up on being ‘thrown under the bus’ by the people he worked with during the scandal.

Speaking to the camera, he said: “People just went, who I thought were my friends and they just went and that’s like ‘what the hell’.”

He continued: “I have been chucked under a bus, and I could drive the same bus over so many people but I’m not that sort of person, I never have been.”

“But if I sit down with a camera and the light’s going who knows what I’ll say.”

Later in the second episode of the three-part series, Phil said: “I miss parts of being on TV, certainly.

“I miss most of it, if I’m honest, I miss most of it.

“But there are bits that I really, really, really don’t miss.

“You learn a lot about people, I don’t miss that.”

TELLY presenter Laura Woods paid herself a £400,000 dividend to celebrate her move to ITV and TNT Sports.

The football and boxing host, 37, saw her earnings shoot up after she departed talkSPORT in June 2023.

Paperwork from her company The Pig and I, which handles her TV cash, showed she paid herself the dividend — the equivalent of £35,000 a month.

It is the first time she has paid herself anything since setting up the business in 2014.

She also received an advance worth £512,292, according to company accounts which cover to the end of 2023.

After giving herself the massive pay out, her firm still has assets of £635,247, including £460,501 cash in the bank.

She is said to have earned £250,000 a year at TalkSPORT and is rumoured to have had a huge pay rise on her move to TNT Sports.

The Arsenal fan worked her way to the top by starting as a runner on Sky Sports.

Laura, who is engaged to former Love Island star Adam Collard, 28, announced in July that she was pregnant with her first child.

BABY Reindeer star Richard Gadd is still driving a beat-up banger — despite hitting the big time with the Netflix stalking drama.

Fresh from collecting a string of awards at the Emmys in the US — including an Outstanding Lead Actor gong — the Scot was seen heading out in the knackered £500 Skoda Fabia.

The motor was missing hub caps and its petrol cap, while its rear bumper and wing mirror were held together with gaffer tape.

Gadd’s rundown runaround in North London comes despite the Scot, 35, being set to rake in millions after recently signing a multi-year first-look deal with Netflix.

Baby Reindeer has been watched by more than 50 million worldwide since its launch on Netflix in April.

Based on his autobiographical one-man show, the series was also written by Gadd, with him playing the lead role of Donny Dunn.

Billed by Netflix as a “true story”, it tells of pub barman and comedian Donny being stalked, harassed and sexually assaulted by a woman called Martha, played by Jessica Gunning. She also picked up an Emmy — one of six the show won.

However, Netflix has been hit with a £127million lawsuit by the “real-life” Martha — Scottish lawyer Fiona Harvey, 58.

She sued the streaming giant in California in June, claiming Baby Reindeer “literally destroyed” her life and saying she has received death threats after being made to look like a “head-smashing rapist”.

Ms Harvey, from Fyvie in Aberdeenshire but living in London, said the show made her identifiable and subject to “brutal lies”.

In July, Netflix asked for the case to be thrown out. But on Friday, a judge ruled it can go ahead.

In the show, Martha is shown being convicted of stalking Donny — but Ms Harvey was never convicted of such an offence against Gadd.

The judge said: “There is a major difference between stalking and being convicted of stalking and likewise between inappropriate touching and sexual assault.”

A date for a two-week jury trial was set for May next year.

However, on Monday Netflix filed to appoint a neutral, third-party mediator, which could prevent the need for a federal trial in LA.
