EMMERDALE is bringing back a major legend for Zak Dingle’s funeral – and it’s going to be bad news for Mandy.
The ITV soap will soon say goodbye to Zak after news reaches the village that the beloved patriarch has died in Scotland with granddaughter Debbie.
Zak’s death comes after actor Steve Halliwell passed away last year with the soap paying tribute to the legend in the upcoming episodes.
Due to air later this month, the funeral episode was an emotional one with stars in tears filming.
But now Lisa has revealed that there’s a big return from the past turning up.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the Inside Soap Awards she said: “We filmed Steve’s memorial episode which goes out soon and it’s incredible.
“So so emotional. Tears all round. Really lovely though and for all us Dingles to be there.
“It was emotional to film but there is going to be someone coming from the past who will have repercussions for Mandy and Paddy and Vinnie especially moving forward.”
While she wouldn’t be drawn on who the big return is, she did rule out one – actress Adele Silva as Kelly Windsor.
But Lisa would love for her old pal to make a shock return.
“It’s not Adele!” she said.
“We’d love Kelly back! She’s amazing and we love her. I’d love her to come back.
“We meet up all the time for dinners, she’ll come to mine and she’s great.”
But overall Lisa’s happy to have turned her return to the dales into a full-time permanent comeback.

EASTENDERS
Barry Evans – Evil Janine (Charlie Brooks) lured her trusting fiance to Scotland for a quickie marriage after learning he was dying.
Her plan to inherit Barry’s fortune was thwarted when Barry told her that the doctors had mixed up his medical files.
Furious that she was no longer set for a windfall, she pushed Barry off a cliff after telling him their love was “fake”.
Bradley Branning – Bradley was accused of killing Stacey Slater’s rapist Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb) after he punched him twice on the night he died.
He was spotted in the Square by a police woman who chased him up a fire escape.
Bradley lost his balance and tragically plunged to his death.
CORONATION STREET
Tina McIntyre – Tina was getting it on with Peter Barlow – despite him being married to Carla Connor.
When she threatened to reveal the truth, Carla’s brother Rob got into a physical altercation with her.
Tina lost her footing and fell off a balcony – then warned Rob she was going to tell the cops he pushed her.
In a panic, Rob brutally clobbered her over the head with a metal pipe.
Molly Dobbs – Molly was one of the victims in Corrie’s 2010 tram crash, alongside Ashley Peacock (Steven Arnold).
Married to Tyrone (Alan Halsall), Molly had been having an affair with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) in the months before her death.
This resulted in the birth of their son, Jack (Kyran Bowes), who was named after Jack Duckworth.
As fate would have it, Kevin’s wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) was by Molly’s side in her final moments.
Sally was stunned as Molly confessed Kevin was Jack’s father, before dying of her injuries.
Vera Duckworth – Having appeared regularly in Corrie since the 1970s, there was no denying Vera Duckworth was an iconic character.
Alongside her husband Jack, the pair formed one of the soap’s most beloved couples.
Viewers were heartbroken when Vera was killed off in 2008, being discovered having passed away peacefully in her chair.
Liz Dawn, who played Vera, made a brief return two years later for Bill Tarmey’s exit as Jack.
Paul Foreman – Fans were heartbroken when Paul Foreman succumbed to his illness after battling motor neurone disease.
Introduced in 2018 as David Platt’s (Jack P. Shepherd) cellmate, he later embarked on a romance – and marriage – with vicar Billy Mayhew.
The MND storyline was announced in 2023 – with the expectation it would result in the character’s death.
EMMERDALE
Sarah Sugden – After the family got into financial problems, Sarah’s son Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) decided to make some quick cash from an insurance company by setting fire to the Sugden barn.
He didn’t realise his mum was inside the building, and she got trapped in the blaze.
Nine villagers – The shocking 1993 plane crash episode brought in 18 million viewers for Emmerdale.
Mark Hughes was killed by a falling wall, Archie Brooks was burned by jet fuel, Elizabeth Pollard was killed by debris and newcomer Leonard Kempinski died in a car crash caused by the crash.
Five other non-recurring characters from the village also died.
HOLLYOAKS
Carmel McQueen – The talented singer died in shocking scenes when a train crashed into a her family’s car.
Carmel managed to free her cousin Theresa from the rubble – but got stuck in it herself.
Moments later the train exploded and Carmel died in the arms of her family members, promising to be their guardian angel.
She said: “What’s it like being part of the show after all these years? It’s amazing.
“I always say I don’t even feel like I had that gap off, every day I feel so lucky, it’s great and you never get bored.”
DORTMUND star Karim Adeyemi has been linked with a shock move to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old winger is reportedly a surprise transfer target for Liverpool.
Adeyemi hit a brilliant hat trick during Dortmund’s crushing 7-1 win over Celtic on Tuesday.
The German found the net three times before the break as the Scottish champions wilted in front of the Yellow Wall.
According to BILD, Liverpool have already had scouts watching Adeyemi in the Bundesliga this season.
The outlet claims he could be the successor to Mo Salah, whose contract expires on Merseyside next summer.
Liverpool would have to stump up around £42.6million to land the whizkid, per the report.
But Adeyemi has indicated he is enjoying his football at Dortmund, where is contracted until 2027.
The youngster was on the books at Bayern Munich as a boy, before moving to Red Bull Salzburg in Switzerland.

Following Tuesday’s heroics, Adeyemi told BILD: “I feel great here in Dortmund.
“I was already a big fan as a little boy.”
Asked about his hat-trick performance, he added: “I had a good start.
“I set myself to get at least one goal. Today, every shot went in.”

THE future daughter-in-law of Formula One icon Michael Schumacher is among the few people allowed inside the families secretive inner circle.
Mick Schumacher got engaged to long-term partner and Danish model Laila Hasanovic, 23, over the weekend with hopes growing that Michael may be able to attend the ceremony.
It comes after Laila was reportedly given a vote of confidence by the Schumacher’s to see Michael, 55, earlier this year.
Only a handful of people have been allowed to know the latest on the former Ferrari, Mercedes and Benetton legend since his tragic ski crash over a decade ago.
Michael was left in a coma for 250 days and is believed to have needed around-the-clock care ever since.
Very little has been made public on Michael’s health status since the accident with his loving wife Corinna choosing to keep his life private.
But Laila has proven herself as a trusted member of Corinna’s exclusive inner circle since becoming loved up with Mick over two years ago.
The lovers regularly share cute photos to their millions of followers on social media with Laila announcing their engagement via her Instagram.
The lingerie model comes from Copenhagen and has Bosnian roots.
She was first seen by Schumacher’s side at the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix.
Since then the former Miss Denmark finalist and Mick have gone from strength to strength with her regularly being included in family events.
The family are said to be “smitten” with the model, according to German newspaper Bild.
They also say she is the only girlfriend of Mick’s who has ever seen Michael.
Laila has even paid tribute to Michael on social media in the past with a touching tribute.
In March she posted a series of photos to her 300,000 Instagram followers showing off her handbag and room.
In one of the snaps her AirPod case can be seen with the iconic number 47 logo emblazoned on it.
Fans of Michael quickly spotted the 47 which is still seen as synonymous with the driver as he drove under that number.
Since 2013, Corinna has been creating a private world around Michael as he continues his recovery.

Schumacher is said to have regular meetings with his former teammate Luca Badoer at Ferrari.
As well as his manager Sabine Kehm – who is arguably the closest non-family member to Michael both before and after the accident.
The third member of the circle is Jean Todt who has been close to Michael for over 30 years.
The pair reportedly still watch F1 races together but Todt has admitted in the past that the F1 legend “is no longer the Michael we knew” before the accident.
Ex-Ferrari ace and Michael’s teammate Felipe Massa – regarded as “Michael’s younger brother” – has also been allowed to see his old pal occasionally.
Corinna has also been forced to make the tough decision and cut certain people out of Michael’s life in recent years.
Some of these people include ex-teammate Rubens Barrichello, former manager Will Weber and ex-F1 team boss Eddie Jordan.
Weber once made sensational claims that “we have only heard lies” from the distraught family.
It comes after Michael appeared for the first time among people outside of inner circle earlier this year.

He was not travelling at excessive speed when the freak accident happened.
He catapulted forward 11.5ft and crashed into a boulder head first that split his helmet into two.
Michael was quickly airlifted to hospital where he underwent two life-saving operations.
Doctors later said the headgear is the only reason he’s still alive.
Michael was then placed in a medically induced coma to try to reduce the swelling and in the decade since the F1 superstar has never been seen in public and health updates have been very rare.
Mick has found the years since incredibly tough, according to former driver Johnny Herbert.
Herbert said: “Mick has said he could always talk to Michael about racing before the accident. That is one of the saddest things for any sportsman.
“It would have been a very important part of his development at that time. But Mick never had that unfortunately. He just had that relationship up until the skiing accident.”
Stricken Schumacher has spent much of his time since at the £27million Majorcan villa.
It is believed to have been adapted allowing a team of doctors and nurses to provide the perfect care.

The F1 legend was given the best possible treatment as he was put into a medically induced coma, had his body temperature lowered and underwent hours of tricky operations on his brain.

After he woke up in June 2014, he was discharged from hospital and sent to his home in Lake Geneva to get further treatment.
Since then his wife Corinna and his inner circle of friends have expertly avoided almost anything leaking out about his health status.
Only small amounts of information have been released including reports that Schumacher was in a wheelchair but can react to things around him.
In 2019, it was said that Schumacher was set to undergo breakthrough stem cell therapy in a bid to regenerate and rebuild his nervous system.
Renowned France cardiologist Dr Philippe Menasche, who had operated on him previously, was set to carry out the treatment that would see cells from his heart go to his brain.
Following the treatment at the Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris, he was said to be “conscious”, although few other details were given about his state.
