PlayStation appears to predict what will happen in mouthwatering Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rematch with brutal clip

PLAYSTATION appears to have to predict the outcome of Tyson Fury’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

The heavyweight giants fight each other on December 23 after a thrilling encounter earlier this year.

Usyk got the better of Fury in May’s first fight[/caption]

Fury suffered his first defeat as a pro boxer with Usyk adding the WBC belt to his collection.

And the superstars will go at it again this Christmas after both watched Anthony Joshua’s defeat to Daniel Dubois last month.

Fans are wondering whether Usyk can confirm his status as the division’s dominant fighter.

While others feel Fury will take the fight much more seriously as he looks to claw back his belt.

But surprisingly, it is PlayStation who have already come out swinging with a bold prediction.

The video game console brand is owned by Japanese company Sony.

And the current version of their system is the PS5, which boasts a number of amazing games.

Luckily for fighting fans, a new boxing game called ‘Undisputed’ lands later this month.

Gamers will be able to take control of their favourite boxers in the ring.

And PlayStation appeared to predict the outcome of Usyk vs Fury 2 by demonstrating a brief fight between the pair.

In the short clip, Fury could be seeing attempting to protect his head with his hands.

At the same time, Usyk laid several heavy shots into his rival.

And he ended up KO’ing Fury with a powerful punch to the midriff, sending the Gypsy King to his knees.

Fans were quick to react to the footage, but they were less concerned about the predicted outcome and more about the grainy visuals.

One said: “This short clip makes me want to wait and see the reviews. Does not look good.”

Another declared: “Crazy to see punches still not landing right.”

One noted: “Didn’t know PS2 games were still in the making.”

Another added: “Worst clip ever to promote a game.”

Fusy vs Usyk: Round by round verdict

HERE’S how SunSport’s Chisanga Malata saw the fight as Oleksandr Usyk was crowned undisputed king of the world against Tyson Fury.

ROUND 1

Here we go. Both men look to establish dominance early by taking the centre of the ring.

Fury marches down the Ukrainian, who opens up with a stiff body shot.

The Gypsy King looks massive in comparison to Usyk, who is no dwarf whatsoever.

Usyk is happy to operate on the outside, although the early jab he’s eaten will have given him some food for thought.

Fury is trying to draw out attacks from Usyk, who is not putting too much into his punches.

Fury gets backed into the corner and channels his inner Muhammad Ali by doing the rope-a-dope.

Usyk lands a big overhand left just seconds before backing Fury into the corner.

Fury dodges the ensuing flurry and gestures to the crowd as if demanding them to acknowledge his head movement. USYK 10-9

ROUND 2

Usyk opens up the round with a big one-two that snaps back the head of Fury.

Fury tries to make light of it but that combo clearly stunned him.

Usyk is setting the stone and the pressure as he advances forward.

A big uppercut narrowly misses for Fury, who knows all too well that’s the shot to deploy on a shorter opponent.

Fury is throwing more punches but isn’t being as accurate as Usyk.

Usyk backs up Fury into the corner and lands a good three-punch combo.

But Fury comes roaring back with a hard body shot after circling away from danger.

Fury finally lands an uppercut, albeit to the body of the former cruiserweight king. FURY 10-9

ROUND 3

Fury is on his bike after the restart and lands a stiff straight right from range.

Usyk has decided to close the distance after eating that shot and is going to work on Fury’s trimmed-down torso.

A solid overhand left snaps back the head of Fury with just over a minute of the stanza remaining.

Fury lands a good combo with thirty seconds remaining. But he gets pushed back against the ring again and eats another flurry before the bell. USYK 10-9

Round 4

Fury goes to work to the body with two hard shots after the restart.

He’s absolutely loving this, dancing around after landing his shots.

But he’s still allowing himself to get backed up and invite the pressure from Usyk.

Fury lands a beautiful counter right as Usyk comes forward.

Usyk has his head snapped back by another hellacious uppercut.

Both men nearly land hard back hands before the bell, with Fury narrowly missing an uppercut and Usyk an overhand left. FURY 10-9

Round 5

Usyk takes the centre of the ring after the restart and looks to feint his way into range.

Fury is doing a good job of keeping the Ukrainian at bay when he looks to close the distance.

A rasping uppercut snaps back the head of Usyk.

Fury is hurting Usyk to the body with relentless hooks to the midriff. FURY 10-9

Round 6

Usyk is on the front foot straight after the restart and is looking to put Fury on the back foot again.

A hard body shot to the solar plexus gives Usyk more food for thought.

Fury almost closed the show with a huge uppercut with a minute and a half of the round remaining.

But he finds a home for it 20 seconds later and Usyk is in retreat mode.

Fury closes out the round with a bit of showboating, put his hands behind his back before resting his arms on the ropes.

A huge round for the Wythenshawe warrior. FURY 10-9

Round 7

Usyk once again closes the distance after the restart but he’s getting picked off at range.

And when he does take a step back, his body is getting blasted by nasty hooks.

Usyk finds a home for his straight left but Fury eats it like a packed lunch made by his loving wife Paris.

Another straight left snaps back the head of Fury, who circles back out of range to try to create space for a body shot

Usyk manages to close the distance with seconds remaining ad finds a home for a two-punch combo.

But Fury manages to circle away to hear the bell. FURY 10-9

Round 8

Fury is happy to operate on the back foot in the eighth and pick his shots.

But he gets his dome rattled by back-to-back straight left hands – which he brushes off before going back to feinting and trying to create space for a body shot.

Usyk briefly finds himself dealing with Fury’s weight in the clinch after landing a good straight left.

Fury is bleeding profusely from his nose. I’m not what caused the damage. Big round that for Usyk. USYK 10-9

Round 9

Fury is doing a good job of bamboozling Usyk with feints, but the Ukrainian continues to come forward.

But he’s slowly but surely allowing the gap to be closed, which leads to him eating a big left hand flush in the corner.

Fury gets hurt and is stumbling around the ring. It was a left hand that did the damage.

Fury doesn’t know where he is and is eating a barrage of crisp follow-up shots. He beats the count and the bell thankfully saves him. USYK 10-8

Round 10

Usyk – like the Big Cat he is – senses blood and isn’t giving Fury any respite.

Fury is barely throwing anything and what he is throwing is telegraphed and slow.

Usyk looks tired, but he needs to keep his foot on the gas pedal if he’s to have any chance of becoming a two-weight undisputed champion. USYK 10-9

Round 11

A desperate Usyk, spurred on by the plight of his fellow Ukrainians back home, immediately goes to work after the restart.

Fury tries to keep him at bay with the jab but is struggling to pump it out with the stiffness it had in the early rounds.

Usyk briefly traps the WBC king in the corner and lands a rasping left hand.

Usyk doubles up with two left hands that briefly back Fury against the ropes.

The round ends with yet another big overhand left from Usyk. USYK 10-9

Round 12

The fans in attendance at the Kingdom Arena cheer both warriors on after the final restart of the fight.

Fury is playing matador as Usyk looks to step into range to land his left hand.

And he finds a home for it with a minute and a half of the stanza remaining.

A chopping right hand sends Fury backwards, but he returns fire with a booking shot of his own that backs up the southpaw.

Fury puts his hands behind his back in a bid to goad Usyk to making a sloppy mistake in the closing seconds.

But he stays sharp as he looks to close the distance, which Fury times to initiate a clinch. FURY 10-9

TOTAL Fury 113 Usyk 114

The 27-year-old, who is engaged to Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke, is now an England WAG.

The loved-up couple welcomed their daughter in September last year[/caption]

Striker Dominic, also 27, has been called-up to represent the Three Lions for the first time in SEVEN years.

He currently has just one cap to his name from a friendly against Brazil in 2017.

It comes after new manager Lee Carsley named his England squad for the upcoming international break earlier today – and left out some huge names.

On the decision to select Dominic, the gaffer said: “Dom is a player I am fully aware of and I have worked with him in the past.

“He was really close to being in the last squad – but he got injured just before the selection.

“He has got a lot of really good attributes that I like and as well as being a nice person, he is extremely talented and it is good that we have got him.”

The player himself was delighted, writing on Instagram: “It’s been a while. Delighted to be called up to represent my country again.”

Mum-of-one Erica, who gave birth to a daughter in September last year, is now set to support her long-term beau from the national stands.

While it’s currently unclear how the couple met and when they got together, we do know that Dominic popped the question on a lavish holiday in the Maldives in November 2022.

They announced that they were expecting their first child together in May 2023, and shortly after hosted a gender reveal party for family and friends.

A quick glance at Erica’s public TikTok profile proves that she’ll fit right in with our current England WAG cohort.

Veteran wives and girlfriends include Megan Pickford, wife to goalie Jordan, Katie Kane, wife to starboy striker Harry, and Sasha Attwood, girlfriend to attacker Jack Grealish.

Erica, who measures up at a tiny 5ft1, shares regular snippets into lavish “baecations” and date nights with 6ft3 Dominic.

Among the couple’s passport stamps are Dubai, the Maldives, Milan, Paris and Amsterdam

Earlier this year, she shared that his nicknames for her are “Sleen”, “Queen” and “Sloom”.

The pair also share a Pomeranian pooch named Leo.

Erica is yet to make a public comment about Dominic being called-up to represent his country for a second time.

The Three Lions are set to take on Greece in the Nation’s League on Thursday 10 October.

Aston Villa star Leon Bailey shows his class after being on wrong end of most ruthless act in football

LEON BAILEY has remained overwhelmingly positive about Aston Villa’s win over Bayern Munich despite being taken off just 33 minutes after coming on as a substitute.

Unai Emery‘s men claimed a famous 1-0 victory over the Bundesliga giants on Wednesday night, replicating their 1982 European Cup final triumph.

Jhon Duran came off the bench to score yet again for Villa to ensure they maintain their perfect start to their European campaign.

But before the winning goal was scored, Bailey had been taken off for Ian Maatsen on the hour mark.

What made the substitution noteworthy was the fact he had only come on in the 27th minute due to an injury to Jacob Ramsey.

Taking a substitute off is widely regarded as one of the most brutal acts you can carry out as a manager.

But Emery had no problem doing it and was ultimately proven right as Villa went on to win the game.

And while Bailey will have been disappointed on a personal level to be hooked, he shared nothing but upbeat vibes on his social media.

Speaking on Instagram, he said: “What an atmosphere tonight, you fans were incredible!! 🤩💜

“Happy to be back in the Champions League, what a night! Big 3 points!!🔥

Bailey has only started one of Villa’s six Premier League games so far this season – which came in a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.

He has one assist in seven appearances, but could now be offered more opportunities if Ramsey is sidelined for some time.

New horror movie so shocking audience walked out of UK premiere in first ten minutes – and one was SICK in cinema

Some ticket holders were so disgusted they bolted from their seats within the first ten minutes.

The brutal sequel, directed by Damien Leone, left some cinema goers traumatised and at least one vomited during the screening.

For people who can stomach the nightmarish third installment they’re in for a satisfying ride.

Rotten Tomatoes have the flick at 93% on their ‘tomatometer’.

“There were 11 total walkouts, nine during the opening scene, and that there was one fan confirmed to have puked,” according to LADbible.

Leone added in a statement to Bloody Disgusting: “Although I was in and out of the screening, I did manage to witness some crazy stuff.

“One woman got up and left in the middle of the shower massacre.

“Another woman left the screening and said she started having a panic attack during a scene involving kids where Art impersonates a mall Santa.”

After surviving Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre, Sienna and her brother are struggling to rebuild their shattered lives.

Leone previously promised Terrifier 3 would push the horror even further.

He said one scene was so disgusting when they filmed it that a cast member almost walked off set.

Leone wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Can honestly say we just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise and you’ll never believe who couldn’t handle it on set… the BTS is hilarious.

“Can’t wait for you all to see!”

Lead actor David Howard Thornton was the one who almost puked.

He plays the terrifying Art the Clown, and confirmed the gruesome attacks were tough to play out.

In response to a fan on social media, Thornton wrote: “I will just say that this is the kill that almost made me vom. That’s a first.”

Damien went on to show give examples of what fans can expect.

He said: “The past couple of weeks on the set of Terrifier 3 have been some of the most intense and taxing of my career!

“But seeing genuine smiles around the monitor & hearing numerous cast & crew members say they’ve gotten chills multiple times makes it all worthwhile. It’s a good one!”

Sick bags were provided to viewers who watched the second instalment at early screenings in 2022, and the director was forced to hit back at cliams it was a marketing stunt.

He said at the time: “To everyone saying that reports of people fainting and puking during screenings of Terrifier 2 is a marketing ploy, I swear on the success of the film it is NOT.

“These reports are 100% legit. I wish we were smart enough to think of that! But then again we didn’t need to.”

One movie goer verified his comments by sharing their experiences of the film.

They wrote: “The guy behind me passed out cold and crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good I overheard him say.

“And walking out of the theatre door I heard a guy puking hard and loud in the bathroom.”

Terrifier 3 launches in cinemas in the UK on October 11th.

When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday falls on November 29 2024.

As ever, it’s the day after US Thanksgiving. Not something that counts much here in the UK, of course.

But Black Friday was originally an American invention, before gaining popularity in the UK in the last couple of decades.

But now the global Black Friday sale period stretches out far longer, and you can expect to see deals online even as early as the beginning of November.

Black Friday sales continue through the weekend and close at the end of the day on Cyber Monday.

Are TV retailers taking part in Black Friday this year?

When do TV Cyber Monday sale deals end?

On Cyber Monday, deals usually last until right up to midnight – so that means you’ve got till midnight tonight to make sure you grab a TV deal.

This year, Cyber Monday falls on Monday 2nd December 2024.

In recent years, some retailers and brands have extended their sales into the rest of the week too.

So, you might see some of those TV Cyber Monday deals carry on into the Tuesday, and perhaps longer.

It’s well worth having another look to check if you can spot any extra discounts for your last-minute shopping.

What was in the TV sale last year?

We saw televisions of many different sizes, budgets and brands on sale during Black Friday 2024.

As you can see below, some prices have risen since last Black Friday, some have fallen further, and some have stayed the same.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and are TV retailers taking part?

Cyber Monday, as you might expect, falls on the Monday directly after Black Friday. This year, that makes it 2nd December.

Traditionally it was very much an online-only sales day, but that’s changed over the years and there’s little to mark it out from Black Friday itself.

Most deals are often available both in-store and online for the duration of the sales period, so from Black Friday or before, through until the end of the day on Cyber Monday. Some deals even continue on into December.

If you’re after a particular bargain though, it’s better not to wait until Cyber Monday in the hope prices will drop further as you risk missing out. The best deals are usually available on Black Friday itself.

When do the Black Friday TV deals end?

In theory, the big sale runs for four days – through to Cyber Monday.

That’s your last guaranteed chance to bag a Black Friday TV deal.

However, you may find that there’s some leeway.

Many retailers and brands now carry on offering discounts after Cyber Monday.

Some even run their sales right into December, and the Christmas shopping period.

Conversely, some products might go out of stock before the end of Cyber Monday – it just depends on how popular they are with shoppers.

So, you need to be smart about finding a great deal at the right time – either go for it early, if you find the TV you want, or gamble or waiting it out and bagging a deal right at the end.

Either way, make sure you shop around and compare prices.

What is a smart TV?

A smart TV is a traditional-looking television, but it also comes with the internet built in.

Essentially, it lets you to do some of the things you’d be able to do from your PC, but using a remote control or a smartphone app, rather than a keyboard.

More importantly, with a smart TV you can stream Netflix or Amazon Video, as well as other digital TV channels straight from your couch, or check out your latest photos and videos directly on your television.

You can also browse the web and access the likes of YouTube with just a click of a button.

Which smart TV is best?

By our estimates, one of the best smart TVs out there is the Sky Glass – you can find out more from our tech editor’s Sky Glass review.

Sky Glass is a 4K, QLED TV that doesn’t need a satellite dish. Much like a regular smart TV, the Glass can connect directly to the internet and let you stream a wide variety of channels.

Alongside Sky Glass, there’s also Sky Q – a set-top-box offering multiple services integrated with smart TV features and Ultra HD support.

All major brands such as LG, Samsung and Sony sell Smart TVs, and there are likely to be big discounts at this time of year.

One of our top picks is JVC’s Android TV 32-inch Smart HD Ready LED TV with Google Assistant that is only £149 (saving £70).

LG Smart TVs are also pretty standout – every new LG TV runs on the WebOS smart platform, which is arguably the most versatile smart TV system currently on the market.

How much electricity does a TV use?

The amount of electricity a TV consumes will depend on its size and energy rating.

It will unlikely be a surprise that the bigger the size of the TV, the more electricity it will use.

To get a rough idea of electricity use, look at the kWh/1000h number. This will show you how much it costs to run the TV over a year. 1,000 hours per year is equivalent to two – three hours a day or 19 hours a week.

If you want to reduce the energy consumption of your TV, we recommend you set the brightness control to automatic.

Also, ensure you have power/energy saving mode activated.

It’s also worth setting a sleep timer on your TV. That way, it will automatically power off if it’s not been used for a few hours.

Is Black Friday a good time to buy a TV?

Absolutely. Tech products take a major role in the Black Friday sales, and you’ll often find enormous discounts on televisions, as well as on other electrical items.

Late November is always the perfect moment to pick up a great TV for less money than usual, and our advice is to hold off upgrading until then.

That said, it’s not the only time of year to bag a bargain TV – Easter time is also a major sales period, and during Amazon Prime Day (both of them), Prime subscribers are granted access to lots of decent telly deals.

Should I wait until Black Friday to buy a TV?

Definitely. Unless that is, you’re in dire need of a new television because your existing TV has stopped working.

It’s wise to save your spending until Black Friday as you’re going to find the best deals available over the Black Friday weekend.

Retailers save their best discounts until late November rolls around, knowing that’s when shoppers will be on the look-out for premium deals.

Whether you’re looking for a TV for all the family to watch over the festive season, or a Christmas gift for the kids, then you’re going to get more bang for your buck by buying during the Black Friday sales.

Should I buy a TV on Black Friday or wait for Cyber Monday?

If you see an amazing TV deal on Black Friday, and one that’s the right screen size and budget for you, we suggest you don’t hang about until Cyber Monday.

If it’s a genuinely good price drop, it could easily become sold out over that weekend.

On top of that, Cyber Monday isn’t the standalone event that it was historically.

Traditionally, it’s a day of online-only deals, in contrast to the in-store aisle-dashing on Black Friday itself.

But these days, with online shopping booming, there’s very little difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

You might find a final wave of TV deals on the latter day – but if we’re being honest, it will likely be a last-gasp stock push from the retailers and we don’t think it’s worth banking on.

For more information on Cyber Monday check out When Is Cyber Monday 2024.

How much can I save on a Black Friday TV deal?

If you look at the Black Friday TV deals from past years, you’ll definitely see big savings across product ranges and from all the major brands.

If you’re buying a cheaper TV, you could still save something like £180 on a set costing £369 – right up to a huge saving of £1,200 on a more expensive £2,299 TV.

That’s why it is worth planning ahead and then shopping around on Black Friday to get the very best deal for you.

Are TVs really cheaper on Black Friday?

You better believe it – of all the dates in the sales calendar, it’s Black Friday where you’ll always see the best savings on TVs from all brands, sizes and price points.

That being said, there are so many price drops out there during Black Friday it’s important to separate the good ones from the mediocre ones.

Luckily, we’ll only feature the very best TV deals on this page, so make sure you bookmark it and keep returning to see all of the latest offers.

It’s also worth checking for extra discounts on big brands on the Sun Vouchers page.

What kind of Black Friday TV deal should I buy?

That really depends on what you’re looking for. There are incredible high-end TVs with cutting-edge screens and exciting smart features – and if you buy top of the range, you’re likely to make big savings too.

But at the other end of the scale, you’ll also find good savings on cheaper TVs, which are still fantastic to watch all your favourite programmes on, just without some of those extra features.

The important thing is to have a strong idea of expectations and available budget. Then on Black Friday itself, to compare all of the available deals from different brands before making your purchase.

How to measure a TV

When we talk about TV measurements, whether that’s 32 inches, 43 inches, 50 inches or bigger, we mean the size of the screen between the two diagonally opposite corners.

It’s an industry standard to measure the screen in this way and brands always list the diagonal screen size.

If you want to know how large your TV is, or how much space you have for a TV, it’s fairly easy to work out with a tape measure, simply check the height and width – and don’t forget about the depth, especially if you’re planning to position the TV on a cabinet or shelf.

You can find out more in our how to measure a TV screen explainer.
