Fans watched as they clashed after Charlie discovered Eve had branded her a bully to co-star Polly Sellman.

There were more tears when Eve was caught listening in to Charlie’s “safe space, breaking her trust in the process”.

Eve insisted Charlie was lying when she accused her of eavesdropping in the ceremony, but expert Mel Schilling was on hand to announce to the room that it was Eve who was telling fibs.

The couple were then tasked with writing down whether they wanted to stay and give the relationship a go or leave and walk away from each other for good.

In the end the end they both opted to leave Married at First Sight and have split up.

But now Charlie has broken her silence on her departure from the show in a video update on TiKTok.

She told fans: “Oh my goodness, it’s all gone a bit crazy overnight. Just wanted to come and basically say a huge massive thank you just to like everyone, for everyone’s support.

“It’s actually overwhelming how much love and support I’ve actually had just over the last couple of weeks really.

“Yes, what happened, happened, it is what it is.

“It was a really, really tough journey but as time has passed I’m happy and I’m doing well and I just feel like there’s a lot of people out there that are really worried about me right now.

“I just want to let everyone know that I’m doing ok. I’m actually doing really good.”

She added: “I’m just so happy that everyone saw it for what it was and yeah I’m just excited for the journey ahead but thank you so much for the support I love you all.”

Charlie also posted a meme with the lyrics ‘I should have known you were bad news’, captioning the post: “Pun intended.”

Eve has yet to reply to Charlie’s claims and tell her version of events.

Three winter mistakes everyone makes when heating their home – they’re costing you money

WITH energy bills soaring and temperatures starting to plummet, it’s time to – reluctantly – fire up the heating as we head into the colder months.

However, it’s easy to make mistakes that can lead to higher energy bills and less efficient heating.

There are three mistakes people male when heating their home[/caption]

Heating expert and founder of UKRadiators.com, Rob Nezard, shares the three most common mistakes people make when heating their homes in winter — and how to avoid them.

Rob says: “With energy costs rising, it’s more important than ever to heat your home efficiently.

Unfortunately, there are a few common mistakes people make every winter that end up costing them more in energy and comfort. Here’s what to look out for.”

Turning the Thermostat Up Too High

Rob said: “It’s wrong to think that cranking up the thermostat will heat your home faster.

“But in reality, heating systems work at a consistent rate. Turning the thermostat up too high doesn’t make the system heat any faster; it just causes your home to overheat, leading to wasted energy and higher bills.”

Instead, Rob recommends setting the thermostat to your desired temperature and being
patient.

He added: “A consistent temperature is far more efficient and will keep your home comfortable without unnecessary energy use.”

Blocking Radiators with Furniture or Curtains

Rob said: “Many people unknowingly block radiators with furniture or heavy curtains, especially in winter when we try to create cosy spaces.

“But when you obstruct the airflow, it prevents the heat from circulating properly.”

This forces your heating system to work harder to warm up the room, ultimately wasting energy.”

Rob advises keeping radiators clear of any obstructions.

He added: “Make sure furniture is positioned away from radiators and avoid draping curtains over them. This simple step can make your home heat more efficiently.”

Not Bleeding Radiators

Rob said: “Trapped air in radiators is a common problem that reduces their efficiency.

“When air gets trapped, it causes cold spots in your radiators, meaning they don’t heat evenly.

“Homeowners often forget to bleed their radiators regularly, but doing so is crucial for maintaining efficient heating.”

Rob suggests checking your radiators at the start of the winter season and bleeding them if necessary.

He added: “By releasing the trapped air, you allow hot water to circulate properly, which not only improves heat distribution but also helps reduce energy consumption.”

By avoiding these three common mistakes, Rob says you help your heating system be more efficient, saving energy, £s and keeping your home warm throughout the winter months.

Rob added: “It’s all about small adjustments that can make a big difference in both comfort and cost.”

Bergerac’s John Nettles reveals brutal reason he refused to return to reboot of classic show

BERGERAC star John Nettles has revealed the brutally honest reason he’s not returning to play the classic character as he opened up about the new BBC series.

During an appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning, John, 80, revealed he had received “a lovely letter” asking him to return.

However, retired actor John has ruled out a possible cameo[/caption]

But he believes any appearance by him would “destroy” the whole idea of it being a reboot series – given that someone new will be playing his iconic role.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the beloved BBC crime drama Bergerac was making a return and today BBC Breakfast aired a special segment giving viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what is to come along with speaking to some of the cast.

They also spoke to Midsomer Murders star John and were quick to ask him whether he’d been asked to reprise his role in the upcoming reboot series.

“I got a lovely letter from them. They said will you come along and do a little cameo at the end?” John revealed, before explaining why he flatly refused.

He said: “I thought, no, because that would get in the way of the actual production. It would destroy, in some sense, the integrity of the production, I thought.

“In any case, I’m too old and I’ve retired. I’ve got to face up to that,” he added.

John starred as Detective Jim Bergerac on the classic series from 1981 to 1991. For a decade he dealt with crimes in picturesque Jersey, but then the series came to an abrupt end.

The original cast alongside John included Terence Alexander as Charlie Hungerford, Sean Arnold as Chief Inspector/Superintendent Barney Crozier, Cécile Paoli as Francine Leland, Deborah Grant as Deborah Bergerac, Annette Badland as Charlotte, Celia Imrie as Marianne Bellshade, Louise Jameson as Susan Young and Thérèse Liotard as Danielle Aubry.

Bergerac fans were delighted earlier this year when it was confirmed the popular series was getting a reboot. But, although it’s based on John’s beloved series, fans should expect the reboot to be a very different show.

John would rather leave his version of Bergerac in the past and let the series start again with fresh talent.

So, the upcoming six-part series will see Brassic star Damien Molony take on the iconic role instead.

Tim Renouf, an actor in the upcoming series, touched on what people can expect to see in the reboot.

He said: “The framework of the story is the same in terms of it’s about Bergerac, it’s about him coming back to the force and getting back into investigating crime, so that’s the same.

“It’s still going to have that glamour that I think we remember and have fond memories of in the original, but it’s going to be grittier. The stories are probably a bit darker.”

Lebanese Army joins Hezbollah & OPENS FIRE on Israeli troops in major escalation as IDF expands no-go zone to major city

LEBANON’S army has fired back at Israeli troops for the first time in a major escalation amid fears of an all-out war in the region.

It comes as Israel has warned people to evacuate 25 more areas of Lebanon – signalling its ground invasion to demolish Hezbollah’s war machine is about to expand.

Today, the Lebanese army confirmed it had been drawn into the bloody showdown between Hezbollah and Israel for the first time – almost a year into the conflict.

Soldiers fired back at Israeli forces after one of its troops was killed today in an Israeli strike on a military post.

The Lebanese army said: “A soldier was killed after the Israeli enemy targeted an army post in the Bint Jbeil area – in the south, and the personnel at the post responded to the sources of fire.”

Experts have warned casualties among Lebanese forces, rather than Hezbollah, could mark a huge escalation.

Thousands of civilians have already fled the country’s south as the showdown between Hezbollah and Israel intensifies.

So far, ground clashes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah militants have been confined to a narrow strip along the border.

But Israel has now expanded its no-go zone and told citizens to urgently leave 25 areas – including a major city.

Nabatieh is one of the largest cities in southern Lebanon and is above the UN-declared buffer zone.

It means Israel is likely gearing up to widen its ground operation against Hezbollah and even advance further into the country.

Other communities north of the Litani River have also been told to evacuate.

The river formed the northern edge of the border zone established by the UN Security Council after the 2006 war in a resolution that both sides accuse the other of violating

Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, said: “Hezbollah’s activity forces the IDF to act against it. The IDF does not wish to harm you.

“For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately. Anyone who is near Hezbollah operatives, their facilities or their weapons, puts themselves at risk.”

He warned any house used by Hezbollah for military purposes will be a target.

The Israel Defense Forces yesterday ordered people to leave 24 other villages, and the day before that, 28.

Military chiefs have described the invasion – led by the battle-hardened 98th Division – as “limited, localised and targeted raids”.

The goal is to clear out Hezbollah terror sites to halt rocket attacks which have driven 60,000 from homes in Northern Israel in the last 11 months, Israeli sources said.

But fierce battles have erupted between Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah – with eight IDF troops killed yesterday.

Hezbollah today claimed its fighters detonated a roadside bomb when Israeli forces entered the Lebanese border village of Maroun el-Ras, killing and wounding soldiers.

Israel has been hitting areas of Lebanon where the militant group has a strong presence since late September, but has rarely struck in the heart of the capital.

In the last two weeks, Israel has pounded Lebanon – where Hezbollah is based – with missiles, killing more than 1,000 civilians.

An Israeli airstrike on an apartment in central Beirut on Wednesday killed nine people, including seven Hezbollah-affiliated civilian first responders.

The Israeli military said Thursday that it had struck around 200 Hezbollah targets across Lebanon, including weapons storage facilities and observation posts.

It said the strikes killed at least 15 Hezbollah fighters.

As fierce fighting and strikes continue to rage in Lebanon, desperate civilians are paying up to £2,500 to flee on yachts.

The first plane evacuating around 180 Brits left Beirut yesterday as the Middle East teeters on the brink of all-out war.

But terrified civilians are now turning to a more unusual escape route as flights out of Lebanon quickly fill up.

Dozens of people a day are now being evacuated from Dbaye region to Ayia Napa in Cyprus – on private superyachts.

Goldeneye Superyachts owner Karl Debs has earmarked several of his yachts to ferry people to safety as Israel’s bombardment shows no sign of slowing down.

Up to seven yachts are being sent daily, each carrying around seven passengers.

Passengers need a valid passport and papers to enter Cyprus.

Frantic civilians having been forking out between £1,500 and £2,500 travel on the 75ft long yachts.

Yacht broker and captain Karl said: “Clients feel more comfortable on these private yachts rather than ferries.”

The Middle East is now on the brink of all-out war as the region braces for Israeli retaliation for Iran’s ballistic missile barrage of Tuesday.

Furious Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu insisted the terror state had made a “big mistake” after it unleashed 181 missiles.

However, they have been handed a boost by their manager after he sacrificed his wages for the cause.

He had already taken a 40 per cent cut to his salary to help save the club.

Scottish side Inverness need to raise £200,000 this month to avoid the threat of relegation.

Manager Duncan Ferguson is now working for free in order to help, having already reduced his weekly wages from £3,000 to £1,200.

He explained: “I’ve given up my wage to try and help the club. I’m now working for nothing.

“That’s by the by, it’s my own decision to try and help the club get through all this.

“The players are worried, yes. They have contracts to fall upon, but it is the people around about the stadium, the staff, everyone’s jobs are on the line.

“I think you know since I’ve been here I’ve taken cuts and reductions.

“Now, when I realised the position the club is in, in needing to raise £200,000 this month, I decided I don’t need to get paid my wage.

“I’ll work for nothing just now to try and help them through this. The plight of the staff was in my mind. It always is.

“I like to think I’m a caring person and I like to look after my staff and people around about me.

“At the moment, I’ll get through as best I can and try to keep putting petrol in my car and food on the table.”

Ferguson was appointed by Caley Thistle in September last year, penning a three-year deal through to the summer of 2026.

However, he was unable to avoid relegation from the Scottish Championship last season.

Instead, Inverness dropped into the third tier for the first time since 1999, where they currently sit sixth in the table.

They have won just one of their eight matches, drawing six and losing the other, to give Ferguson 15 victories from his 49 matches as boss.

The former striker became a cult hero in England during his playing days after scoring 68 goals in 239 Premier League appearances for Everton and Newcastle.

He is particularly beloved by fans of the Toffees, where he won the FA Cup in 1995.

Ferguson later returned to spend 11 years on the coaching staff, working with the under-18s before becoming first-team assistant and caretaker manager.
