MAFS UK fans fume over ‘missing’ part of episode as they spot clue producers ‘cut’ key scene

MAFS UK viewers were furious last night after the show appeared to edit out an important commitment ceremony scene.

There was high drama when it was Charlie and Eve’s turn to face the music and be critiqued by the relationship experts.

Eve hit back and called her wife a liar[/caption]

Charlie called out Eve for ‘spying’ on her when she was caught listening in to her confessional to camera.

Despite viewers having seen Eve get caught in the act, the under fire wife denied any wrongdoing.

Her refusal to accept responsibility left Charlie shaking and tearful, but, much to her relief, Mel Schilling came to her aid and told the room that Eve had lied.

However, that was as far as the intervention went, at least on screen anyway, with no further mention of the incident.

It left viewers angry and confused.

One wrote on a fan forum: “My jaw was on the floor after the “experts” witnessed Eve gaslight Charlie right in front of them and they still wanted them to resolve things and stay together!”

Another said: “Yeah why did Eve not get questioned on listening in at all.”

A third said: “Completely brushed past her lying! What did cut out,? The editors have a lot to answer for. Eve has not been shown to have been challenged on her behaviour at all.”

A fourth said: “I was fuming, I don’t know they can call themselves ‘experts’ with a straight face. I thought when we had had nearly 20 minutes left they’d go in on Eve but it was such a nothingburger.”

Eve and Charlie hit it off immediately after meeting for the first time on their wedding day.

But cracks started to show when they headed off on their honeymoon – which ended in lots of tears, arguments and sleeping in separate rooms.

Their relationship didn’t appear to improve when they got back to the UK – and Eve even refused to move in with Charlie to their new apartment.

Tensions reached boiling point last night when Charlie revealed that Eve had been listening in on her interview after the dinner party.

Charlie fumed at Eve: “You went into my safe space, put your ear against the door in my interview, that you should not have done.

“You took that upon yourself to do that.

“To listen to my interview, after the dinner party, and got your back up because of an action you took.”

Eve asked: “What did I say?”

“You sat in that room and you glared at me like I had done the worst thing in the world,” Charlie replied.

Eve said: “That’s not true.”

Charlie fumed back: “You literally listened into my safe space, MY interview. You took that upon yourself to do that.”

Eve denied this, prompting a frustrated Charlie to ask: “Why is it always my fault?!

“Take some accountability for the mistakes and issues that you’ve made.”

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”

Eve told Charlie to “stop telling lies”.

Expert Paul Brunson told the pair they were going to get to the bottom of what happened.

Charlie started crying hysterically and expert Charlene Douglas told her to breathe.

Expert Mel then told the pair: “Eve, with respect, you’ve lied on the couch today.”

The couple left the experiment shortly after when they both decided to walk away from the relationship.

Mafs bosses have now introduced fans to new bride Sionainn ahead of her show debut.

“I would make the perfect wife because I’m funny, I can make a joke about anything.

“If you’re sad I’m going to make you laugh and that’s all you need.”

Sionainn describes her best quality as her kindness, but admitted she hates “s**t tattoos” such as clouds and angels.

“Something I do that my husband might not like is I still suck my thumb.

“Pushing 30 and I still suck my thumb.”

Sionainn also admitted the most embarrassing thing she’s done in the bedroom is kick her exes dog off the bed.

Meanwhile, The Sun recently told how a new bride was left squirming in horror as her new husband struggled to keep his hands off her on their wedding day.

Viewers will be introduced to wedding planner Amy and prison education manager Luke.

Despite having an instant attraction, Luke’s leaves his wife with the “ick” after he showers her with compliments and his affectionate gestures.

In a preview clip for tonight’s episode, the pair try to get to know each other better while posing for their wedding photos.

Britain’s Got Talent gives guest judge KSI a Golden Buzzer act despite him only standing in for Bruno Tonioli

HE may only be a guest judge, but social media star KSI will still get to press the Golden Buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent.

The YouTuber is standing in for Bruno Tonioli as he films Dancing With The Stars, the American version of Strictly.

And while he’s only there for three of the five first round audition days, he’ll still get the same opportunity as Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon to send a contestant straight into the live final.

This could indicate that KSI will make a reappearance later in the series to watch his choice in action.

A source told me: “Bosses were keen for KSI to appear much like a full-time judge would, given he’s due to stand in for a number of days. It means there will be one more Golden Buzzer act this year, with the remaining judges and hosts Ant and Dec also given an opportunity to press it.

“It will no doubt make the finals more exciting, to see which judge is best at picking a winner.”

I revealed this week that ITV bosses signed up KSI with high hopes that he will bring some of his 80million followers to the show.

Aside from his social media career, he is also a musician whose songs have had more than 2.7billion streams.

He released his most recent singles, Thick Of It and Low, yesterday.

An insider told me of the signing: “KSI knows a thing or two about entertaining thanks to his large following online, most of who are young and tech-savvy, which is just what the show needs.”

Will and Ralf best buddhies

WILL MELLOR and Ralf Little are in for a surprise when heading to the pub where they filmed their hit sitcom Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps.

The two pals make the discovery in new four-parter Will & Ralf Should Know Better, which promises to pull back the curtain on their 20-year bromance as they find out how they can do life better as middle-aged men.

They decide to embrace the new temple and are soon taking part in a training session based on Buddhist martial arts and meditation, with local expert Ninja Nun.

The duo get into character by dressing in traditional clothes before being put through their paces.

Which is a fitting start for the series as each episode focuses on tasks designed to help them embrace their spiritual side.

Wheelie looking forward to it

GLADIATORS star Sabre, comedian Harry Hill, podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsey and musician Big Narstie will star on the new series of Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel.

The news comes after it was revealed Robbie Williams would make a surprise appearance.

Netflix memorabilia to be flogged

NETFLIX superfans can get their hands on some rare telly memorabilia this month.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the streaming service was launching its own shop to raise money for mental health charity Mind, flogging costumes from its biggest hitters.

But it’s not just clothing that’s up for grabs.

The bike ridden by Sex Education’s Otis Milburn, played by Asa Butterfield, and a wooden penis ornament belonging to his onscreen mum Jean (Gillian Anderson) are up for grabs.

The typewriter used by Ambika Mod’s Emma in One Day, drawings from the set of The Witcher and the bar sign from Black Mirror’s San Junipero will also be for sale.

The shop opens for one day on Bethnal Green Road, East London, on October 12, and in Birmingham’s Bullring on October 19.

Michael’s legacy

DR MICHAEL Mosley will have his life and legacy celebrated when the BBC airs a two-part special of his Just One Thing show.

I revealed earlier this year that the series, originally on Radio 4, would go ahead as filming had wrapped before his tragic death in June.

Michael is seen assisting participants as they take on a health challenges, such as cold showers.

A BBC spokesman said: “We are honoured to carry forward Michael’s remarkable legacy.”

The series will air on BBC One on October 14 and 21 at 8.30pm.

Getting festive

SKY has begun to announce its festive programming.

Highlights include Nutcracker: Backstage With English National Ballet.

While panto will be put under the microscope in a one-off special with Gyles Brandreth and guests Julian Clary and Gary Wilmot.

A Bill to legalise the early ending of life will be introduced to Parliament by Labour MP Kim Leadbeater on October 16[/caption]

It will pave the way for a major Commons debate and free vote, which Sir Keir Starmer has vowed to honour.

Ms Leadbeater today said her Private Members’ Bill would “give eligible adults nearing the end of their lives” the power to “choose to shorten their deaths if they wish”.

The Labour MP insisted the legislation would contain strong “safeguards and protections” and ensure no one vulnerable feels pressured into dying early.

She also claimed it would not undermine calls for improvements to palliative care.

The last time the Commons debated and voted on assisted dying was in 2015.

Both Labour and the Tory leadership contenders have indicated MPs would be given a free vote “with their conscience” on the matter.

Ms Leadbeater said: “I believe that with the right safeguards and protections in place, people who are already dying and are mentally competent to make a decision should be given the choice of a shorter, less painful death, on their own terms and without placing family and loved ones at risk of prosecution.

“I will be consulting widely about the precise details of my Bill and I hope there will be an honest, compassionate and respectful debate about this important and emotive subject.
