Pleased with his work, Ruth wrote: “The master at work.”

She smiled as she filmed Leo running his fingers through her textured blond hair.

The pamper session comes days after Ruth hit back at an online troll who branded her social media content “sad”.

The Loose Women anchor shared a clip of herself preparing a Mediterranean-inspired dish at home and revealed it was an ad for Tesco.

One fan took issue with it and wrote: “Ruth is better than this ridiculous advertising. Sad to watch.”

The presenter replied: “Feel free to unfollow if this is making you sad.”

Prior to that she explained to followers why she is still wearing her wedding ring despite her split from husband Eamonn earlier this year.

One follower questioned why she hadn’t removed the ring as she prepared a green juice.

To which Ruth replied: “Because I am still married.”

And Ruth was also quick to fire back when she was branded a “show off” after taking her followers on a day out for some posh pampering.

Last month she told followers how her hairdresser’s Notting Hill salon was being refurbished so her hair appointment was instead taking place at Claridge’s Hotel.

Some fans were quick to blast her as a “total show off” and one added: “You are so lucky. Most people could not afford that.”

But Ruth quipped: “No luck… I’ve worked hard for everything I have.”

Meanwhile Eamonn, 64, recently enjoyed a holiday with new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42.

The telly veteran, who is now reliant on a mobility scooter, was accused of faking social media posts today after sharing a snap in his car.

Fans claimed he was simply reusing pics from earlier in the year, to which he responded by sharing a pic of him eating a bacon bap.

Ruth and Eamonn's relationship timeline

Before the shock split announcement, Ruth and Eamonn seemed like one of the strongest couples on UK TV – even with their signature bickering style.

Here’s how their romance played out…

1997 – The couple first meet after being introduced by mutual friends, two years after Eamonn splits from his first wife, Gabrielle, with whom he has three children.

1997-2002 – To be respectful to Gabrielle, the couple kept their relationship out of the limelight. Ruth told Daily Mail: “I thought it spoke volumes about the sort of man he was, the sort of father he was and the integrity he had. It made me love him more, not less.”

2002 – Ruth and Eamonn welcome their son, Jack, to the family.

2005 – Eamonn finalises his divorce with Gabrielle.

2006 – The pair begin to host Friday episodes of This Morning together.

2010 – Eamonn proposes to Ruth while at the Cheltenham Races, after asking Ruth’s mother for her hand.

June 2010 – Eamonn and Ruth marry at Elvetham Hall, Hampshire.

2016 – Eamonn undergoes a double hip replacement in the first of many health battles.

June 2019 – On This Morning, Ruth and Eamonn say the secret to their happy marriage. Eamonn credits “compromise, consideration and lots of conjugal,” while Ruth said it was “laughter and an equal marriage”.

November 2020 – Ruth and Eamonn are replaced on their regular Friday slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in a ‘show shake-up’.

December 2021 – After a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth left This Morning.

January 2022 – Eamonn debuted on GB News, while Ruth stayed with ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women.

September 2022 – Eamonn undergoes spinal surgery after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve.

November 2022 – Eamonn falls down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and breaks his shoulder, requiring a new operation.

September 2023 – Eamonn has a spine and neck stretching procedure as part of his year-long recovery.

May 2024 – Ruth and Eamonn announce they have split after 14 years of marriage and a 27-year relationship.

September 2024 – Eamonn was spotted on a luxury holiday in Barcelona with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander. Ruth calls in a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer.

Robbie Savage forced to apologise live on TNT Sports after ‘sounding like he is getting choked out’ during Man Utd clash

ROBBIE SAVAGE had to apologise for his croaky voice during TNT Sports coverage of Manchester United vs Porto.

The retired pro was part of the commentary team as United played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with the Portuguese giants in the Europa League.

Straight from the off Savage appeared to be finding it hard to talk, struggling to sound his usual best after seemingly losing his voice.

And after a while of croaking his way through the game, Savage felt the need to apologise live on air after a busy week of commentaries.

He said: “I do apologise for my voice. I was at Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday and Atalanta last night and a delayed flight today.

“But it’s still a pleasure to be here for a wonderful, wonderful game. A huge game.”

Fans watching on from home were finding the whole ordeal entertaining, taking to social media to react.

One wrote: “Robbie Savage apologising for his voice being all gravelly after a few long shifts. No need to say sorry king, we’ve all been there”.

While another added: “Robbie Savage is doing his best Sean Dyche impression tonight.”

A third teased: “Not sure what’s worse, United’s collapse of Robbie Savage’s voice tonight.”

And a fourth joked: “Why does Robbie Savage sounds like he’s getting proper choked out”.

Savage certainly had plenty of action to talk through as Man Utd threw away a 2-0 lead in the first half to play out a thoroughly entertaining 3-3 draw.

Marcus Rashford‘s first half magic put Erik ten Hag‘s side ahead after he scored just seven minutes into the clash and then set up Rasmus Hojlund for a second on the 20 minute mark.

But things soon went downhill when Porto grabbed two back before the break through Pepe and Samu Omorodion.

Despite his dazzling contribution in the first 45 minutes, Rashford was hooked at half-time by Erik ten Hag.

And that decision didn’t only cost United some attacking impotence, but also saw them concede a third just five minutes into the second half when Omorodion bagged again.

Things went from bad to worse for the Red Devils when Bruno Fernandes was sent off for two yellow cards – his second red in as many matches.

But Harry Maguire came to the rescue with an injury time equaliser that levelled the scores to three a piece and saved a point for United on the road.

Ex-Rangers star Duncan Ferguson reveals he’s working for FREE at Inverness and says ‘I’ll try to put food on the table’

DUNCAN FERGUSON is to work for free at crisis club Caley Thistle after volunteering to give up his wage to help save the club.

The Everton legend made the remarkable gesture just over a month after accepting a 40 per cent salary cut.

His remaining £1200-a-week wages, originally £3000-a-week when he was lured north, will go towards the £200,000 Caley Jags say they must raise this month to stave off the immediate threat of administration.

Ferguson was talking while the Inverness board was meeting upstairs to discuss the scale of the latest financial threat to the 2015 Scottish Cup winners and former Premiership outfit’s future.

The 52-year-old former Dundee United, Rangers, Everton and Newcastle striker, appointed late last September, said: “I’ve given up my wage to try and help the club. I’m now working for nothing.

“That’s by the by, it’s my own decision to try and help the club get through all this.

“The players are worried, yes. They have contracts to fall upon, but it is the people around about the stadium, the staff, everyone’s jobs are on the line.

“I think you know since I’ve been here I’ve taken cuts and reductions.

“Now, when I realised the position the club is in, in needing to raise £200,000 this month, I decided I don’t need to get paid my wage.

“I’ll work for nothing just now to try and help them through this. The plight of the staff was in my mind. It always is.

“I like to think I’m a caring person and I like to look after my staff and people around about me.

“At the moment, I’ll get through as best I can and try to keep putting petrol in my car and food on the table.”

Ferguson was offered £3k a week by past CEO Scot Gardiner after the sacking of predecessor Billy Dodds.

He revealed just over a month ago that the wage was quickly reduced to £2k a week, before taking another 40 per cent cut in late August.

Caley Thistle highlighted the renewed threat of administration in a letter to shareholders made public on Wednesday.

Ferguson added: “It was a decision I took last night when we got the message coming through about the £200,000 the club needed.

“I felt it would be appropriate for myself to offer my wage into that pot. They can look for a bit less than £200,000 now.

“That will continue. I’ll give my wage to try and help the club.

“Hopefully that helps.

“I’m not going to ask anyone else to do what I’ve done. It is each to their own.

“I’ve done my bit and I’ll continue to do my bit for the football club. Everyone who knows me knows that.

“I’ll do it as long as is needed before the people at the club come up with some money to save the club.

“Obviously, I can’t go without a wage forever and ever, because I need to put food on the table myself.

“But at the moment it is needs must – I’m making sacrifices.

“I think the club were happy with the decision, but I just think it is the right thing to do. It’s a personal choice.

“It’s not an easy time for the club and I’ve made the decision.
“Everyone knows I’ve enjoyed my time here, enjoyed the city.

“I keep telling people that. I like Inverness and rarely go back down the road, down south.

“It is a great club, a great fan-base and they’ve always been good to me, but I care about my players and the staff around about me.

“I’ll always fight for them and that’s why I do this.”

Caley Thistle have struggled to hit the back of the net this season, netting just six goals in eight league games.

Six draws and a solitary win in that sequence has cast doubt on their initial status as title favourites, but Ferguson remains confident a challenge can be mounted.

Administration would see the club docked 15 points, and that is also in his mind as he strives to turn draws into wins.

The arrival of Charlie Reilly on loan from Dundee has added to his confidence that can be done.

Ferguson said: “Charlie, we believe, can be a great signing. He is very direct and can score goals.

“We have good players here and we’ll keep working hard to get those victoriers that will lift the whole place.

“Am I a fighter? I think my past record proves that – on and off the field!

“I’ll soldier on and keep doing it for the club.

“We’ve just got to get results, haven’t we? We have a very young squad and with the financial implications you’re concerned for the staff.

“I’m just going to go on, keep fighting and try to support the staff and players, everyone at the club.

“If administration comes, every point counts.

“We need to get more points on the board and should have more.

“If it does go into administration, hopefully we can survive (in League One) as we have good players through there.”
