Inside creepy abandoned cemetery morgue with eerie Victorian-era funeral hearse & autopsy table left to rot for decades

A CREEPY abandoned morgue with a Victorian-era funeral hearse and autopsy table has been left to rot for decades.

The spooky building is falling apart but still has some of the original equipment those carving up bodies 150 years ago used.

The abandoned morgue is part of a hospital complex in Belgium which was used up into the 20th century.

From the outside, there is a small building with a statue of Jesus on a sign of the cross, alongside a couple of headstones set among the pebbled grounds.

In the morgue, there is a stone autopsy table and a Victorian-era hearse.

The beautiful, ancient vehicle has carriage lamp brackets, white metal detailing and large wheels.

The hospital section of the complex has a few more modern comforts that patients would have used.

Now covered in plaster and rubble there are sofa chairs, stairlifts, and the metal chassis of modern hospital beds.

One British urban explorer has even searched through the building.

Chloe Urbex, 23, said she found the abandoned site “super spooky”.

“There was a little bit of a spooky atmosphere due to the fact a storm hit while I was there.

“Meaning we were hit with both thunder and rain.

“Inside the mortuary, there was a hearse and autopsy table.”

Chloe revealed the morgue in a post to TikTok where fans were shocked to see the inside.

One person wrote: “Fascinating.”

Another said: “Wowzza amazeballs.” [sic]

While a third commented: “Oh I love that!”

Chloe Urbex has previously found a creepy abandoned horror museum where she felt like someone was watching her.

She found old posters with one advertising a ghost hunt event.

Another snap showed an old ‘wanted for murder’ poster seeking the infamous Jack the Ripper.

One stairwell appeared to have been decorated to look as if blood had been splattered on the walls.

The two vital reasons why you should never leave the heating on all night in winter

WITH summer already feeling like a distant memory, many people are already reaching for the thermostat to feel cosy at night.

But leaving the heating on overnight is not always the best idea, no matter how good it feels to be toasty in bed.

An expert has insisted leaving the heating on overnight is not a good thing[/caption]

Here, heating expert and founder of UKRadiators.com, Rob Nezard,
explains: “The question of whether to leave your heating on all night depends on a few factors, such as energy efficiency, health, and comfort.

“It’s about striking a balance between keeping warm and avoiding unnecessary energy use.”

So here’s what you should consider, according to the expert.

Energy Waste

“Leaving your heating on throughout the night is often an inefficient use of energy,” Rob explains.

He added: “As your home cools down during the night, the temptation is to keep the heating running to maintain warmth, but this can drive up your energy bills unnecessarily.”

Instead, Rob recommends investing in a programmable thermostat.

He said: “A thermostat can be set to lower the temperature while you’re asleep, ensuring your heating isn’t working harder than it needs to.

“This way, you save energy while still waking up to a comfortable temperature in the morning.”

Sleep Quality

“There’s strong evidence that cooler temperatures – typically around 16-18C – are better for sleep quality,” says Rob.

He added: “Keeping your heating on all night can create a warmer sleeping environment, which may not be conducive to restful sleep.”

By turning your heating down or off at night, you not only save energy, but also create a healthier sleep environment.

Rob said: “A cool room with warm bedding can be the perfect combination for a good night’s sleep.”

But if you are still determined to turn that thermostat up before you go to bed, Rob admits there can be benefits to it for some people.

“For some people, maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the night is essential”, he explained.

He added: “This is particularly true for elderly people, young children, or individuals with certain health conditions that make them more sensitive to cold.

“In these cases, it’s not about turning the heating off altogether, but about finding the right balance.”

Rob suggests keeping the heating on but lowering the temperature to around 18°C or less.

He added: “The most efficient solution is to use a timer or programmable thermostat with night settings.

“That way, you can ensure your home warms up before you wake without leaving the heating running at full pelt all night. This way, you maintain comfort without excessive energy use.

“By setting your thermostat to gradually raise the temperature in the early morning, you wake up to a warm home without the need to overspend on energy.”

Transfer fees could be SCRAPPED in biggest change to football in 30 years after landmark court case brought against Fifa

FIFA’s transfer rules have been declared ILLEGAL by Europe’s highest court.

In a landmark ruling that could see the entire transfer system ripped up, the European Court of Justice backed former Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra in his case against Fifa.

Lassana Diarra has won a court case arguing Fifa broke European labour laws[/caption]

Diarra, 39, sued the world body after it upheld a £16m fine imposed on him by former club Lokomotiv Moscow in 2014 after he was sacked for allegedly boycotting training over a pay dispute.

The case went all the way to the Luxembourg-based ECJ, Europe’s highest court.

Diarra’s lawyer, Jean Louis Dupont – the man responsible for the “Bosman” ruling in the 1990s that transformed the face of European football – argued that Fifa had broken European labour laws by refusing to issue the International Transfer Certificate which would have allowed him to join another club and exercise his rights as a professional.

And in an eagerly-awaited ruling the ECJ has now declared the current regulations are in breach of EU Law on the free movement of people.

The Court ruled: “The rules in question are such as to impede the free movement of professional footballers wishing to develop their activity by going to work for a new club.

“Those rules impose considerable legal risks, unforeseeable and potentially very high financial risks as well as major sporting risks on those players and clubs wishing to employ them which, taken together, are such as to impede international transfers of those players.”

Potential ramifications could be huge depending on the full judgement, which will be published later today.

If the Court has made a strong ruling, it could effectively declare the entire current system is in breach of EU Law.

That would see Fifa losing its current authority over the transfer system and allow players the right to break their contracts and change clubs with impunity.

In turn, that would end the current “trickle down” system where many smaller clubs are reliant on transfer income.

Such an outcome would lead to big stars being able to hawk their services for free but for huge wages, allowing the wealthiest clubs – including the bulk of the Premier League – the opportunity to hoover up the best talent.

In its summary of the ruling, the Court added: “Restrictions on the free movement of professional players may be justified by overriding reasons in the public interest consisting in ensuring the regularity of interclub football competitions, by maintaining a certain degree of stability in the player rosters of professional football clubs.

“But these rules have as their object the restriction, and even prevention, of cross-border competition by unilaterally recruiting players under contract with another club or players about whom it is alleged that the employment contract was terminated without just cause.

“The possibility of competing by recruiting trained players plays an essential role in the professional football sector.

“Rules which place a general restriction on that form of competition, by immutably fixing the distribution of workers between the employers and in cloistering the markets, are similar to a no-poach agreement.

“Those rules do not appear to be indispensable or necessary.”

Dupont declared the ruling a “total victory”, adding that the Court had “severely censured the structurally illegal actions of the current regulations”.

He said: “This paves the way for a modernisation of governance, in particular through the use of collective bargaining between employees and employers.

“All professional players who have been affected by these illegal rules can therefore now seek compensation for their losses.

“We are convinced that this will force Fifa to submit to the EU rule of law and speed up the modernisation of governance.”

I’m a ‘diagnosed psychopath’ and I’m impossible to date – I have flings with hot men and have never been in love

A WOMAN has revealed what it’s really like dating as a ‘diagnosed psychopath’, from never falling in love to why she’d never date a man with less money than her.

Although the term gets thrown around a lot, people who have so-called ‘psychopathic’ personality traits are usually diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD).

Vic said she only dates men who are a lot more attractive than her and have cash to splash[/caption]

In the UK, patients cannot be diagnosed as a psychopath, and it isn’t a term that is recognised by the mental health act anymore.

Those exhibiting certain characteristics including lack of empathy, impulsivity, and superficial charm may be diagnosed with other mental health conditions, including ASPD.

Vic, 22, who was diagnosed with ASPD at 19 but refers to herself as a psychopath, often shares videos online explaining what dating is really like for her.

Recently, the content creator, who describes herself as a ‘diagnosed psychopath’ took to TikTok (@victhepath) to reveal how dating works for her.

In the now viral video, she confessed she prefers short flings and “hook-up culture” to long-term relationships and never really loved either of her exes.

Speaking to her 260,000 followers, she claimed she enjoyed “the company” of her previous partners, but didn’t want to peruse anything more serious because she got “bored”.

In fact, she stated the relationships were more like a “pretty heavy obsessed”, at least from her end.

“I don’t date so much as I engage in hookup culture,” she expalined in the viral video.

“I love a good friends-with-benefits situation, but when it comes to something more serious, I do not have the bandwidth for that.”

Vic confessed her attitude towards dating is pretty “shallow” and her “extremely high standards” stop her from going for more guys.

So, what are the qualities she looks for in a man?

Well, any potential beaus need to be incredibly attractive, Vic explained, since she doesn’t ever like to be the most good looking one in a relationship.

Money is also a must, and she only looks for men who can pay for dates and “take care of her financially”.

Vic’s list of prerequisites for the men she dates also includes a good personality who will plan interesting things for them to do.

“I cannot go out on a date with somebody that I find boring, even if it is for free food,” she said.

If men ever disrespect Vic they’re sure to be kicked to the curb, as she revealed she’ll happily cut them off in an instant if she ever feels disrespected.

Despite all of this, Vic said she still has a lot to offer potential flames, mostly because of her “interesting” personality that will keep them on their toes.

She said: “You will never be bored with me. I like to have interesting conversations. I’m also very chill. As long as you respect me, we have no issues.”

As long as guys aren’t “needy” they’re in with a shot of getting to know her, she explained.

What’s it like dating some with a personality disorder?

Dr Sham Singh, a psychiatrist at WINIT Clinic said told Metro.co.uk that most people with ASPD live “fairly normal lives.”

“The one-dimensional way that ASPD is stigmatised, namely, being referred to as a “psychopath” is unfair to people who have this personality disorder,” he added.

And for anyone dating someone with ASPD, he suggested being mindful of the condition and how self-aware they are.
