McDonald’s customers hail return of ‘greatest burger of all time’ and beg for it to be made permanent

THE RETURN of a McDonald’s burger has caused a wild frenzy among its loyal fans, with many calling for its permanent addition to the menu.

The McRib burger will be back on the Golden Arches menu from October 16 to the joy of many hungry diners who are begging for it to stay.

Taking to social media, many expressed their enthusiasm for the burger’s return with one user calling it “the Greatest McDonalds burger of all time” .

Another commenter said: “My absolute favourite, welcome back Ribby. Please don’t leave us again”.

Whilst others wrote: “It’s what dreams are made of” and “cannot wait, it’s been way too long”.

Another user added: “I’m so getting one I loved them back in the day”

The pork-based patty, which is lathered in smoky BBQ sauce, pickles and onions and encased in a homestyle bun, is back on menus for a limited time from mid October.

The burger first launched in the UK in 1981 and has been hailed as one of the best Mcdonald’s burgers of all time by some fans.

Thomas O’Neill, head of menu at McDonald’s UK, said: “We have heard our fans loud and clear – the fan petitions and pleas on social – and after almost a decade of anticipation, we are thrilled to bring back this iconic menu item.

“Knowing how well-loved the McRib is, we had very little choice – we had to make it happen.”

Though the fast-food chain’s owners have not revealed how long the popular burger will be on the menu for, limited edition foods are usually around for about six weeks.

It will be on sale for £4.49 as an individual item or £6.19 as part of a medium extra-value meal deal, which means it comes with fries and a medium drink.

At 509 calories, the burger is more calorific than a Double Cheeseburger, McChicken and Bacon Double Cheeseburger as well.

Despite most diners excitement some have not been so keen, with one social media user likening the product to “gas station food”.

“I must be the only one that thinks it’s horrible,” said another.

Whilst another commenter wrote: “Yay, another reason for me to stay away from McDonald’s” .

One user even joked: “How about the McHeartAttack or the McBigBelly?”

According to one of our Sun reporters who tried it ahead of its launch, despite the burger looking visually unimpressive, the pork patty is super tender and “better than other burgers” .

But, he added, the burger felt quite sickly because of the abundance of BBQ sauce, which he felt was too sweet.

McRib’s addition comes after McDonald’s confirmed the arrival of a pack of mini hash browns, which will come in a portion of five or 15, with prices starting from £1.49.

These will roll out from October 16 but it is unclear whether or not the snack will become a permanent feature on the menu.

How those annoying twitches can be a sign of killer cancer – and 3 other bizarre body signs to watch out for

DIFFERENT cancers can all have different symptoms.

And while most people know that lumps, bumps or changes in moles should be checked, there are other, less-recognised signs to be mindful of – like a twitch.

a poster showing the signs and symptoms of a brain tumour

This common sensation, which is normally felt in the upper eyelid – but can also be felt elsewhere – is usually nothing to worry about.

They are usually a often brought on by too much caffeine, or not enough sleep.

Although they usually resolve on their own, you should see a GP if a twitch lasts longer than two weeks than a fortnight

While typically not a direct indicator of cancer they can sometimes be linked to brain cancer, according to the American Brain Tumor Association.

This can happen if the tumour pressure on nearby nerves, which may lead to twitching or spasms in different face or limbs, the charity explains on their website.

A brain tumour can also disrupt the brain’s chemical balance, leading to muscle twitching.

In other cases, brain tumours can trigger seizures, which cause twitching or unusual movements.

Around 12,000 people are diagnosed with brain and nervous system tumours each year and there are 5,500 deaths annually.

Just one in 10 patients are still alive 10 years after being diagnosed with a brain tumour and in 97 per cent of cases they could not be prevented.

They account for about two per cent of all cancers and can affect anyone, regardless of age.

Unfortunately, brain tumours are often missed because their symptoms can be vague and similar to other conditions, such as headaches.

Many people may not recognise early signs or may dismiss them as stress or ageing.

But like with any cancer, it’s best to catch it early so treatment is more likely to be effective.

Here are some other bizarre signs you might mistake for something else:

1. Changes in hearing

Sudden hearing loss or a persistent ringing in your ears, known as tinnitus, is another sign to be aware of.

However, in most cases, tumours that affect your hearing tend to me non-cancerous, according to Cancer Research UK.

What is a brain tumour?

A brain tumour is a growth of abnormal cells that grow on the organ and multiply and spread in an uncontrollable way.

The growths can be benign, and non-cancerous, which grow slowly and if treated are unlikely to reappear.

However, cancerous brain tumours are more serious and some can start in the brain or spread there from cancer elsewhere in the body.

Brain tumours are also graded on their seriousness, with grade one and two tumours being seen as low risk.

While grade three and four tumours are seen as high risk and likely to return after treatment.

This can happen if the brain tumour puts pressure on the auditory nerves, which are responsible for picking up signals from the ears to the brain.

This pressure can sometimes lead to full-blown hearing loss.

2. Speech difficulties

People with brain tumours might experience slurred speech, trouble finding words, or difficulty understanding others.

According to the Brain Tumour Charity, this happens when the tumour affects parts of the brain responsible for languages, such as the frontal lobe or temporal lobe

The frontal is responsible for forming words and getting them out there.

While the temporal lobe is used in understanding language, which involves putting sentences together so they make sense.

These issues can appear gradually and are sometimes mistaken for stress or fatigue, according to the Mayo Clinic.

3. Coordination issues

When a brain tumour affects the cerebellum (the back of the brain), it can really throw off balance and coordination.

A person may trip often or struggle with fine motor skills, such as buttoning a shirt or writing a shopping list

Tumours in areas controlling movement can also cause jerky motions or unsteadiness.

As the tumour grows, these coordination issues tend to get worse making everyday tasks more challenging.

Other common symptoms include:

Husband whose penis was cut off with razor & flushed down loo by jealous wife STILL showing up for prison romps with her

A HUSBAND whose penis was cut off with a razor and flushed down the loo by his jealous wife is still showing up for prison romps with her.

Gilberto Nogueira, 40, has now been banned from intimately seeing his banged-up wife after a judge got in the way.

Gilberto’s tackle was flushed down the loo, but he forgave Daiane for the crime[/caption]

The meddling magistrate ruled Gilberto is a victim of crime and the pair must be kept away from each other.

Poor Gilberto had his member brutally sliced off when his wife tied him to a bed promising kinky sex only last year.

Daiane dos Santos Farias, 34, took her fuming anger out on Gilberto’s piece after the food app driver had cheated on her.

She then flushed the sausage down the loo so it could never be sewn back on by surgeons.

Gilberto was still able to make love with his wife during her four-year sentence through the use of a sex toy.

Daiane is locked up in Mogi Guacu Penitentiary, but following the judge’s ruling they now must be kept separated by glass.

The lovers are allowed to meet and talk during the supervised visit but are not allowed in the private couples’ bedroom or even to hug or kiss.

The sex ban emerged after Gilberto published a book called “Hot Blood: The Price Of A Betrayal”.

The novel gives gory details of the day his wife hacked off his manhood in December 2023.

One letter from Farias to Gilberto revealed the ruling with the woman complaining: “I don’t think it’s fair that we don’t have the right to make love.”

And he wrote back: “My love for you, Daiane, is greater than all. It goes beyond infinity.

“Even the justice of men cannot understand it.”

Daiane, now a manicurist in the prison’s nail bar, was said to be furious after she had been told that her husband had cheated on her with her 15-year-old niece.

In Brazil, the age of consent is 14 years old, making the relationship legal.

Gilberto forgave Daiane for slicing his penis off and his support led prosecutors to drop an attempted murder charge.

It is understood that the pair plan to appeal the court’s sex ban.

The woman who chopped off her man’s penis and ‘cooked it with noodles’

Another Brazilian, Dayane Machado, also sliced off her husband’s penis – before frying it in soybean oil.

Machado, 33, was arrested in the Brazilian city of Sao Goncalo after allegedly murdering husband Andre and cutting off his manhood with a kitchen knife, following an argument.

Andre’s sister, Adriana Santos, claimed Machado killed her brother in revenge for him cheating on her.

But her lawyer, Carla Policarpo, has said that Andre threatened her and she killed him in self-defence.

The couple, who have an eight-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter, had been separated for two years, but still continued to see each other on and off

Policarpo said: “He did not accept the end of the relationship and said that if she could not be with him, she could not be with anyone.”

Machado, who was charged with murder, joins a small band of women who have mutilated partners in an extreme act of revenge.

Rapper Lucas Coly’s girlfriend Amber pleads for fans to ‘let him rest’ in series of tragic posts after his sudden death

THE GIRLFRIEND of a rapper who died at 27 has issued a heartbreaking plea to fans after she was forced to disable her Instagram comments.

Lucas Coly’s manager confirmed the social media star’s death on Thursday with a devastating tribute on Instagram.

Coly rose to fame through his videos on Vine before he and his girlfriend, Amber Harrison, started a popular YouTube channel together in 2018.

On Thursday evening, Amber posted a video of flowers she received with a song called Dancing in the Sky, which has lyrics about missing someone after their death.

She then posted another video of flowers featuring one of Coly’s songs on her Story.

In her third post, Amber posted a picture of a phone with a message to her fans.

“This made me feel a lot better! Amen,” she wrote.

“Y’all don’t know the half !!!!!!!!!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE !!!!!” she added.

“Let him rest.”

In the next post, she concluded, “Got the answers I needed and I’m okay.”

It’s unclear if the couple were together at the time of Coly’s death, which the Clark County coroner has yet to confirm.

When Coly’s manager announced his death on Thursday, fans immediately flooded Amber’s Instagram comments with questions and condolences.

Just hours later, her comments had been disabled.

Similarly, Coly’s manager, I Discover Stars, has limited responses to his posts on the platform.

On Thursday, Coly’s manager wrote, “Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there.”

However, the caption has since been changed to just a heart emoji.

Lucas Coly's manager's wish

Lucas Coly's manager asked fans to stream his music on Friday to honor his death.

I Discover Stars said Coly began to create Afrobeats music before his death in the post.

“This post was hard to make because I’ve been avoiding listening to anything with his voice,” the manager wrote on Instagram.

“But Lucas wanted to be a crossover artist. The truth is these algorithms make it so hard for artists to push their music to their supporters.

“It would be a dream of mine if we can all get together and stream his songs until we can chart. Lucas never got radio play and refused to sell out. It hurts seeing all the press he’s getting now.

“We wanted that while he was here. But being non-problematic isn’t press worthy.

“Ask your radio stations to play your favorite Lucas Coly song.

“Also how I am choosing to grieve is different. I want to stop crying, so keeping his dream alive is helping me. Someone told me at a dinner yesterday, make them proud that’s honoring their legacy.

“So that’s what I’m hoping to do. Everyone please let’s all work together to help Lucas chart. So the whole world will know my brother for his talent. Truly a once in a generation talent.

“I love you bro @iamlucascoly , I’m going to do my best while Im still here to let everyone know what a talented, standup guy you were.”

He also posted a picture of himself with Coly and edited the caption to say “my brother.”

Hours before his death was announced, Coly shared a last post to Instagram with simply the words, “I love yall.”

MANAGER’S REQUEST

Tributes on social media poured in for the French-American rapper, who lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the time of his death.

His fellow Vine star Demetrius Harmon posted two pictures of their former group of friends together on Instagram, writing, “Rest up my boy.”

It hurts seeing all the press he’s getting now. We wanted that while he was here.”

Love Island’s Ciaran and Nicole break silence on Mimii and Josh’s split after coming second on show

LOVE Island runners-up Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel have broken their silence on Mimii and Josh’s shock break-up.

While the pair has remained focused on their own relationship since leaving the Villa, they now are one of the few couples still standing from this year’s line-up.

Addressing the split, the couple – who were at Thorpe Park’s annual Fright Night- told The Sun: “We haven’t spoken to Josh or Mimi about it, they know what’s best for them.”

It was revealed this week that Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan called time on their relationship just two months after the pair were crowned the winners of Love Island 2024.

Confirming their split through social media, Mimii told fans: “Hi everyone, I know that a lot of you have been wondering about Josh and I and why we haven’t been making appearances.

“The truth is we have been trying to figure it out since leaving the villa, but unfortunately things aren’t going to work out between us right now.

“I know it’s a big disappointment for a lot of you as it is for me too, your support for us hasn’t gone unnoticed and I will forever be grateful for it, you guys are the reason we made it to this point.

“God bless you all.”

OG star Mimii and Josh – who entered the villa as a bombshell – proved runaway winners after Love Island released the exact voting statistics.

It showed they scooped 41% of the viewer vote, with Ciaran and Nicole finishing in second place with 35%.

They might have lost the Love Island final, but the Welsh couple won the hearts of many viewers and are still going strong.

Back in August, the finalists revealed that they had moved in together in a TikTok live.

The couple were asked if they’d moved in together by fans.

“You can answer that!” Nicole laughed, as Ciaran looped his arm around her shoulder.

“Already moved in!” Ciaran grinned, with Nicole adding: “Yeaah!”

Halfway through the video they were joined by Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer, who seemed to be just as surprised that they had made the big step.
