The plans are to relocate the A’s to Las Vegas eventually, but they will play in Sacramento, California until their Vegas stadium is complete.

The A’s current home, the Oakland Coliseum, was sold out with over 40,000 fans to say goodbye to their beloved team.

In a storybook ending, the A’s won their final game in Oakland and shared a tearful goodbye with fans after the game.

Oakland A’s analysts Brodie Brazil and Bip Roberts were tasked with breaking down the action from the day after the game, but couldn’t do much else than cry.

“This is not easy,” Brazil said.

“You’re a baseball guy, I should be asking you about double plays and hitters going the other way.

“But we’re also Bay Area people, born and raised in the East Bay. You’re a community guy from Oakland.

“What’s your initial takeaway on how today played out?”

All Roberts could do was reach for a tissue and hold his head in his hands while he cried.

“That’s all I got for you bro,” he said with his head in his hands.

MLB fans have been in outrage ever since it was announced that the A’s would move out of Oakland, and fans haven’t ceased their outcry.

“Gotta give Oakland props. They showed up, represented and gave their best. I hope MLB sees this and gets the message,” one fan said.

“Oakland deserves better,” another fan said.

“Yankees fan here and I feel bad for all the A’s fans today. Such a sad day,” a third fan said.

“Bip has me in tears on this post-game,” a fourth fan said.

“Keep the Oakland chants going. Don’t bend the knee to Vegas or Sacramento. Keep calling them ‘Oakland Athletics,’ and that’s how they’ll stay and be remembered,” a fifth fan said.

Even members of MLB media aren’t holding back about the A’s being pulled away from Oakland.

National reporter Jeff Passan shared a scathing review of the situation.

“The Oakland A’s were killed by greed,” he wrote.

“Do not allow the people responsible for this to spin it any other way. John Fisher did not have to move this team.

“Major League Baseball and its owners did not need to be complicit in it. This was a choice. A wrong one. History will sneer.”
