22-year-old Justin Nicholas Simmons of March Brown Lane in Boone was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers yesterday (October 9) on a felony warrant as a fugitive awaiting extradition to another state. Simmons is wanted in Horry County, South Carolina for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He was jailed this morning in the Catawba County Detention Facility under an $8,000 bond. A first appearance in District Court was set for October 14 in Newton.
