WASHINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) — Beaufort County Community College is set to host a Trunk or Treat for the community this October.
The free family-friendly event will happen on October 24, from 6-8 pm. People of all ages are invited to attend. There will be decorated cars with different themes that will be filled with candy and other treats.
“We are thrilled to welcome our families to our campus for an evening of Halloween fun,” said Dr. LaTonya Nixon, VP of Student Services. “This is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some treats, and get into the spirit of the season. The great thing about our college is that we are intricately tied to community, with over 7000 people in our area attending throughout the year. We have a lot of parents, grandparents, and guardians who are connected to the college. We want them to know that they belong here.”
Costumes are encouraged but not required to attend.
