PHILLIP Schofield has told the haters to ‘kiss my a***’ as he shared a bum picture from his stint on Cast Away.
The 62-year-old returned to our TV screens on the Channel 5 show after his shock exit from ITV’s This Morning in May 2023.

The three-part series followed the star on an deserted island, opening up to viewers about what has happened to him over the past year.
Phillip took to Instagram to share the love with fans.
Sharing a snap of him running into the sea with no clothes on, he wrote: “Thank you for your incredible support.
“I’ve been shown hundreds of lovely messages which are very important to me.
“I’m so proud of the shows.”
He continued: “Obvs the haters can… … kiss my a***,” with a laughing emoji.
Earlier this week viewers were left shocked when he stripped off to run naked into the sea.
Setting down the camera, he said: “This next scene, I will shoot, but I need approval. Explicit approval.
“Thank you!”
Phillip then charged into the water with his bare bum on display.
His voice over continued: “I want to look forward with positivity and joy…
“What an opportunity.

OVER three nights – and three hour-long episodes – Phillip Schofield has been bearing his soul in new Channel 5 show Cast Away.
And it’s basically a chance for the former This Morning host to explain the circumstances that saw him leave the show last year.
To put it mildly, he left under something of a cloud, admitting he’d had a fling with a much younger runner on the programme. But in the C5 show he presents his own versions of events – one which is at odds with the narrative that emerged at the time.
He was portrayed as a man who’d had an “unwise” affair, who’d resigned as a result and had let many of his colleagues down.
But in Cast Away Philip insists he was fired by ITV and not for the affair, but because of the bad publicity that surrounded the crimes of his paedophile brother. He summed it up best when he claimed he’d been “pushed under a bus.”
After watching Cast Away what you’re left with is something rather confusing, however.
Did Philip think he’d done something wrong by having the fling with the runner, or not? For example, he said he wouldn’t have been slammed for it quite so much if it were a heterosexual fling.
He said he: “would have received a pat on the back for having an affair with a woman.” This infers that the only thing wrong with it was that it was a same sex fling. So why does he also say: “I will be forever sorry. I screwed up. I made a mistake.”
The answer, I suspect, is that the whole affair was a murky business. There were so many blurred lines around appropriateness, professionalism and honesty.
The only firm conclusion you can draw from the show is that Phillip himself isn’t ENTIRELY sure to what extent He was guilty of wrongdoing.
Amid the confusion, what will the viewing public think? I suspect that this will leave those who disliked Phillip to feel even more suspicious of him.
Those who backed him, will feel reassured too. But those who still aren’t sure what to think will be none-the-wiser – and I’m not sure if that’s what Phillip would have wanted.

However, an ITV insider this week rubbished Phil’s claims and branded him a ‘liar’.
They told The Mirror: “Phillip’s new comments are simply untrue, he is lying again.”
“We stood by him through his brother’s court case and he then stepped away when things became too much,” the source said.
“He then admitted himself he had been lying about an affair and he resigned from ITV altogether.
“We didn’t sack him, he lied to us and then he resigned, there is not much else to say and we as a network just want to move on.”
Phillip presented the show alongside Holly Willoughby.
She left This Morning in October 2023.

The original poultry plonk, though, is still perfectly judged for the more premium price tag, with its cool notes of citrus and strawberry.
Silky and supple, it slips down far too easily, as Generation Z have discovered for themselves.

The wine in the bottle mirrors the styling: very simple and sweet.
It’s suggested that you mix this with lemonade, oranges and strawberries for a wine-themed cocktail.
Perfect for first-time drinkers but vino aficionados should swerve.
COMBINING two vino trends was always going to be a risk but, with this, it has paid off in spades.
And not only has it gone down a storm on social media but even the wine pros like it.
A hybrid-style bottle, which is half French rosé and half orange wine, it has the moreish texture and bergamot notes of the latter with the ripe strawberry fruit of the former.
The resulting tangerine colour will look great in your glass and on your feeds but it’s also a fine one to sip.
Not just a novelty bottle, this is a great intro to orange wine and I think it’s well worth the premium price tag.
AS far as wine names go, this vino does exactly what it says on the label.
Very sweet and jammy, with a slick of vanilla wood that’s a bit rough around the edges – a bit like licking a new shed (or at least that’s how I imagine that would be!).
Still, the branding is eye-catching, which is why it’s become a trendy sipper and I suppose if you really, really love strawberry jam, then chances are that you might like this too.
In the real world and off the grid this vino is possibly a bit of a one-glass wonder for most people, though.
ANOTHER vino to go viral and I’m not sure Lidl actually knows just how good this wine is for the price.
It’s a seemingly accidental dupe of a much more famous rosé produced around the corner in Lugana, near the Italian home of George Clooney, called Cà dei Frati Rosa dei Frati, which sells for around £25 a bottle.
Delightfully different, this soft, rose-tinted tipple will appeal to everyone with its pear and white peach flavours and a slick of saline.
Definitely a trending wine to take note of and taste for yourself.
A proper lesser-known gem.
FOR a drink that’s been talked about in leading wine circles as “19 Crimes against winemaking”, as a hugely commercial tipple this is actually not too bad.
If you’re after a powerhouse vino with lots of very sweet, ripe fruit and flavours of caramel and vanilla, there’s no ignoring this Australian red.
Best with grilled meat or cheese to smooth it out, it’s big and unsubtle, which is why it packs a punch with its branding and has been a hit online – but in many ways that’s all part of its charm.
IT’S been around for a long time but unlike another, ahem, “softly spoken divine wine”, Brad Pitt’s French pink Miraval has not lost any of its quality punch over the years.
And still huge on TikTok, it shows no sign of losing its popularity on social media either. In fact, dare I say it, over time it’s actually got better.
A beautiful bottle inside and out, this lean and quietly confident pink sipper put celeb rosé on the map – and the rest have been playing catch-up.
It’s not the cheapest cult tipple but for what you get when it’s on offer it’s very well priced.
A VERY recent addition to the online trending wine list is this great-value Malbec from M&S which influencers and grid gluggers have been quick to pay attention to.
As the label suggests, this is a classic example of the grape from Argentina: ripe and smooth with notes of mocha, vanilla, blueberry and blackberry.
Not too sweet and with just enough grip, it would be impressive at twice the price.

As long as the stamp doesn’t have a price on it, and just says the postage class, it will still be valid after the hike.

MAN United fan Anderson Pollard shows off his skills on the pitch after giving cancer the boot.
The eight-year-old was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of the disease called Burkitt lymphoma at the start of last year.
He had more than ten tumours in his stomach and needed four months of chemotherapy.
But he kept his spirits up during treatment by wearing his favourite kits and by visiting the Premier League side’s Old Trafford stadium, where he met winger Alejandro Garnacho.
Anderson was declared cancer free a year ago and earlier this year joined his local junior football team, playing his first match in June.
Dad Sam, 35, of Redditch, Worcestershire, with partner Debbie Bath, 43, said: “He was thrilled to be on the pitch. It was his dream come true.
“When we were told it was cancer, we were just in total shock – you just don’t think it will ever happen to you.
“It was devastating and we feared the worst.”
Sam, of Redditch, Worcs, who was supported by charity the Ben Saunders Foundation, said: “It was his dream to beat cancer and join a team and he’s done it.
“He’s always been football-mad and it really helped him through.”
Along with Alejandro Garnacho, Anderson also had visits from many more of his idols – including United heroes Rio Ferdinand, Ledley King and Kieran Dyer – to aid him on his recovery.

A SELF-TITLED veneer specialist has been arrested and accused of practicing for years without a license.
Brandon Dillard lured patients in with flashy Instagram ads and a stylish office, but their health was put at risk immediately after they sat in his chair, the district attorney claims.
On Thursday, federal agents raided Dillard’s Georgia office A List Smiles Atlanta, and found what appeared to be a normal dental establishment.
However, underneath the standard equipment was a dark secret – Dillard was allegedly putting the safety and health of patients at serious risk with unlicensed services.
“Brandon Dillard is not a dentist. He’s never been a dentist,” Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Will Wooten told ABC affiliate WSB, which first broke the story.
“And as much as he may want to play one on Instagram, he is not one.”
Dillard amassed over 150,000 followers on Instagram by sharing pictures of satisfied customers and offering veneer sweepstakes for $5,500 services.
Just one week ago, he shared a video of a “fabulous smile makeover” that got nearly 1,000 likes.
He also showed off several patients who came in with braces and walked out with veneers.
Plus, his company, A List Smiles, had a website where patients could book appointments or spend an alarming amount of money on whitening products.
Veneers are thin caps placed over teeth to create a whiter, straighter smile.
Because the natural tooth is covered by the veneer, it’s crucial the operation is skillfully performed to protect the bone underneath.
Dillard taught “veneer specialist” classes for those who wanted to start performing the procedures.
BRANDON Dillard has been accused of practicing dentistry without a license.
Dillard is a star on social media, attracting over 100,000 followers on Instagram with flashy ads for his services.
A self-titled “veneer specialist,” Dillard consistently posted videos of happy customers showing their bright white smiles.
However, prosecutors claim he did so without the proper licensure and put all of his patients at risk.
“Brandon Dillard is not a dentist. He’s never been a dentist,” Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Will Wooten told ABC affiliate WSB, which first broke the story.
“And as much as he may want to play one on Instagram, he is not one.”
According to prosecutors, this certification is completely bogus.
“They were enticing people to come in to take these classes so that you could get rich too,” District Attorney Fani Willis said.
“But you were getting rich doing something that’s completely illegal.”
At first glance, Dillard’s office is completely normal, but prosecutors say this is all part of the scheme.
“If you went to this and you thought it was a dental office and you looked at the equipment, it appears to be legitimate,” Willis said.
“But that’s what the best fraudsters do, is they do everything they can to make themselves look legitimate.”
Dillard practiced dentistry without a license from January 8, 2021, to September 23, 2024, the criminal complaint alleges.
He’s currently behind bars where he faces felony charges for practicing without a license.
Willis is asking any former patients of Dillard to come forward.
Anyone who was trained by Dillard is also in hot water, as they could face charges if they’re practicing without a license.
“We have had dentists not just locally, but from outside of the state, also come and report that they were concerned about their patients who had received services at this location and the long-term effects of damages,” Willis said.
A CUSTOMER at Home Depot has landed a sweet deal after taking advantage of a little-known hack.
It could save those who read closely hundreds of dollars on merchandise the next time they go to the store.
Shopper EzJuan Porter Norris knew about the secret, known as the “penny list,” beforehand and encouraged others to pay attention, as it got her a $299 kitchen faucet for only $0.02.
“Who freaking knew home depot had a penny list there is so much money to be made!!” she exclaimed in a post to Facebook last month.
“Nobody should be broke y’all just used to people carrying you..anywho from $299 to 0.2 freaking cents.”
Norris included a snapshot of the receipts, which showed the deduction and total of $0.02.
If it seems too good to be true, it isn’t — the “penny list” is a real potential perk for Home Depot customers, per The Krazy Coupon Lady.
Home Depot doesn’t endorse or advertise the list, and employees aren’t necessarily even supposed to sell items for pennies.
It’s more of an honor system to shoppers, as items that ring up for pennies are only those that were in a clearance aisle and should’ve been taken away by staffers but were accidentally forgotten.
Clearance merchandise that doesn’t sell at Home Depot’s lowest price is supposed to be taken away and removed for good, so the ones that stick around only ring up for pennies at self-checkout.
Anything from sinks like Norris’ find or ladders, flashlights, tools, and many others can ring up for a few cents; you just have to hunt for them.
Shoppers should specifically look in clearance sections for price tags that end in two cents, three cents, or four cents, according to The Krazy Coupon Lady.
Items with those price endings at Home Depot typically drop to a penny after 14 weeks from the day they were put on clearance.
The timing will still vary from store to store and could not even drop to a penny until around six to eight months after it was placed on clearance.
To tell if a Home Depot product is worth a penny or a couple of pennies, shoppers have to scan the barcode.
Specifically, they would scan the barcode on the item itself, not the clearance tag sticker.
Retailers are evolving their self-checkout strategy in an effort to speed up checkout times and reduce theft.
Walmart shoppers were shocked when self-checkout lanes at various locations were made available only for Walmart+ members.
Other customers reported that self-checkout was closed during specific hours, and more cashiers were offered instead.
While shoppers feared that shoplifting fueled the updates, a Walmart spokesperson revealed that store managers are simply experimenting with ways to improve checkout performance.
One bizarre experiment included an RFID-powered self-checkout kiosk that would stop the fiercely contested receipt checks.
However, that test run has been phased out.
At Target, items are being limited at self-checkout.
Last fall, the brand surveyed new express self-checkout lanes across 200 stores with 10 items or less for more convenience.
As of March 2024, this policy has been expanded across 2,000 stores in the US.
Shoppers have also spotted their local Walmart stores restricting customers to 15 items or less to use self-checkout machines.
It also can’t be scanned using the Home Depot mobile application, only the self-checkout scanner or an in-store price scanner will reveal the penny cost.
It’s also important to note that Home Depot employees do not have to and probably won’t sell shoppers penny items if they’re aware of the discrepancy, according to The Krazy Coupon Lady.
Instead, they’ll try to have it charged to the last clearance price.
The Krazy Coupon Lady advised shoppers who find the penny items to checkout and “stay under the radar.”
