Not only this, but the woman, who is from the UK, even found freebies in skips too.

Thrilled with her home’s overhaul, Kelly took to social media to share a close-up before and after look of her space, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on DIY On A Budget Official, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Kelly shared her impressive living room makeover and penned: “Drab to fab…somethings we did save for, it’s been a labour of love since January.”

What was once a very dated space, with tired carpet, mis-matched furniture and a lack of personality, has since been given a total transformation.

Now, the living room is not only incredibly trendy and stylish, but super cosy and homely too.

Kelly replaced the carpet for some fresh flooring, ditched her old sofas and gave the wall a chic panelled makeover.

The DIY fan revealed that she nabbed sideboards from Amazon for £55 each, which she used as a TV stand.

Not only this, but she added: “Our sofa (white one) was free to collect and we will probably buy a different cover as they are for sale in IKEA.”

She confirmed that she removed the fireplace herself and thanks to some help from her dad, the pair did their own panelling using MDF sheets.

She continued: “We did all the painting and filling in.

“I find all my plant pots and frames etc in charity shops and at car boot sales, sometimes skips.

“Our rugs were given to us from family.

She now has little girl Louise to add to her brood[/caption]

Mandy Moore played matriarch Rebecca Pearson in the hit series which wrapped after season six.

Gutted fans admitted they were left “sobbing” at the final episode – yet despite her character’s fate – off-screen the Candy songstress has much happier news.

She delighted fans with an image showing her in a hospital bed with her new baby in her arms.

The tot was cuddled up in a white blanket while Mandy looked happy and healthy.

In her excited caption she wrote: “Lou is here!

“Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season.

“She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are.

“Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time.”

Mandy shares her daughter – and two sons – with husband Taylor Goldsmith.

Prior to Louise’s arrival, they were already parents to two boys, Gus and Ozzie.

On May 31, 2024, Mandy announced she and Taylor were expecting a baby girl.

While referencing the abovementioned NBC series, she said: “Sometimes life imitates art.

“The third in our own Big Three coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister.”

While discussing her life as a mother, Mandy told Parents Magazine: “Not to sound cheesy, but all the clichés are true. Life is Technicolor now.

“It just makes sense in a way that it didn’t before. I had no idea that this degree of love existed in the world.

“I have a new colour to bring to the table that I didn’t have before.

“It’s going to impact the choices I make when it comes to work. Everything is different now.”

Mandy previously told the TODAY show how her spouse said she was “mad” for wanting to expand their brood.

WRAPPED UP

Viewers were left gutted after This Is Us wrapped in May 2022.

Yet it appears there won’t be a re-boot.

This Is Us show creator Dan Fogelman previously spoke to Newsweek about the ending of the show at a Television Critics Association event.

He shared with the outlet that the reason why the show ending after six seasons is that he planned it this way.

“It’s not because we don’t have any more story to tell. It’s because we exactly planned it to go this way.

“And so we’re on a five‑year path, and to suddenly pivot and add more because we don’t want it to end, it wouldn’t be quite responsible to the show and what we have planned, and it would start becoming something else,” Dan said.

As of now, there are no plans for a This Is Us spin-off.

The show’s creator Dan told TVLine he’s “pretty set on this being it” and he feels strongly that the stories can be “put to bed now.”

England rugby star, 26, forced into special individual training schedule for rest of his career after major surgery

ENGLAND rugby star Tom Curry has agreed to participate in special individual training for the rest of his career.

This comes after the Sale Sharks flanker underwent a gruelling six-hour hip surgery in February which left the 26-year-old flirting with retirement.

The flanker underwent keyhole surgery on his hip after being diagnosed with a horror injury after England’s run to the World Cup semi-finals last year[/caption]

Curry was reduced to tears when a surgeon told him that his rugby days were numbered, after suffering pain throughout England’s World Cup campaign last year.

He was diagnosed with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome – a condition that means the ball in the hip joint is not entirely round.

But despite making an incredible return to fitness in June against Bath, Curry’s routine will be scaled back forever.

The England star agreed to an individual training programme with Sale director Alex Sanderson for the rest of his career.

Both the club and player hope that it will stop him from going “into the red” – which means avoiding further surgeries.

Curry has been unable to follow that plan after suffering a concussion against Harlequins on Sunday.

He is undertaking return-to-play protocols after a club doctor removed him from the team for the rest of the match at half-time of their 12-11 win.

Curry will miss the Gallagher Premiership clash with Saracens on Saturday as a result.

Sanderson expects Curry to resume contact training next week — but he will be treated differently to the rest of the squad.

Sanderson told The Times: “Tom understands what a training week now looks like for him, which is slightly different.

“And should have been different three years ago, but that is how he got himself geared up for games.

“He hasn’t got to the form we know Tom can get to yet and that is not surprising.

“Being the world-class player he is, I have had a chat with him this week about giving him the space to do that.”

The director previously instigated a personalised training plan for Manu Tuilagi before the centre left for France.

With 53 caps, Curry is one of the most experienced players in Steve Borthwick’s squad and is set to enter his prime playing years.

He said that he will not change his all-action playing style, and that his successful rehab process has helped him mature him as a person.

Curry was memorably sent off after 120 seconds in England’s opening win over Argentina at the World Cup following a nasty head collision.

Watch moment Trump threatens to ‘blow Iran to smithereens’ after stark warning of ‘real & specific’ assassination threat

THIS is the moment Donald Trump threatened to “blow Iran to smithereens” if the Islamic Republic is trying to have him killed.

Claims that he is facing a “real and specific” danger to his life prompted the former president, 78, to deliver a stern warning to the Iranian regime, threatening to retaliate with force.

Trump’s threat comes amid claims he is facing a “real and specific” danger to his life[/caption]

During an address in crucial battleground state North Carolina, Trump threatened to strike Iran‘s biggest cities if any harm came to a presidential candidate.

He said on Wednesday: “If I were the president, I would inform the threatening country, in this case Iran, that if you do anything to harm this person, we are going to blow your largest cities, and the country itself, to smithereens.

“We’re going to blow it to smithereens. You can’t do that. And there would be no more threats,” he added.

Trump’s speech at the furniture factory in Mint Hill comes as US intelligence officers informed the former President and his advisors on the danger Iran poses to their lives.

Reports state that authorities have noticed an increasing threat that has “heightened in the past few months.”

The campaign did not provide further details on the allegations, which come as international pressure mounts on Iran to lower the high levels of tension in Lebanon, where Israel has been targeting locations linked to the Tehran-backed terror group Hezbollah.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken earlier on Wednessday stated that the US government is “intensely tracking” Iran‘s continuous threat against US officials, both past and present.

Law enforcement authorities have reportedly been worried about Iran‘s ongoing threat to try and kill former Trump administration officials and the former president himself, CNN reports.

According to Trump, who survived a second assassination attempt earlier this month, it didn’t matter if the candidate under danger was a Democrat or a Republican.

But he emphasised that neither Vice President Kamala Harris nor President Joe Biden has the strength to respond with the kind of fury he would.

In his speech, Trump continued: “But right now we don’t have that leadership or the necessary people, the necessary leaders.”

The Republican candidate went on to thank Democrats in Congress for their vote in favour of a law that guarantees Ms. Harris and him the same level of Secret Service protection as the sitting president.

“Thank you to Congress for unanimously approving far more money to Secret Service – Zero “NO” Votes, strictly bipartisan,” Trump said.

“Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something.”

Iran denied claims of attempting to assassinate Trump earlier this summer, just after a gunman opened fire at a rally in Pennsylvania, killing one person and injuring the presidential candidate.

His security was increased days after the July 13 assassination attempt, according to US media, which said that authorities had learnt of an alleged Iranian plan against the Republican.

The claims were deemed “malicious” by Iran but the former president issued a statement on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday morning, warning that Iran may make another attempt on his life.

Trump said: “Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire US Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone.”

‘TIMING ISN’T RIGHT’

It comes after Iran reportedly refused Hezbollah’s request to attack Israel as the “timing isn’t right”, two Israeli officials have claimed.

They told US news outlet Axios that the request was turned down because Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is in New York for the UN general assembly.

Iran was allegedly instructed to carry out the strike by Hezbollah leaders as payback for the assassination of Hamas’s political chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran two months ago, The Telegraph reports

It comes after a third day of cross-border rocket fire by both Hezbollah and the Israeli military this week, which contributed to the escalation of hostilities between the two groups.

On Monday, Pezeshkian told reporters that Iran did not want to fall into this “trap” and that Israel was targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon in an effort to spark a larger regional conflict.

The IDF have been instructed not to undertake any attacks that may encourage Iran to join the increasingly intense confrontation, according to a senior Israeli official.

Although a significant reaction has not yet occurred, Iran’s senior military and political figures have pledged time and again to avenge the July killing of Hamas’s leader on Iranian soil.

Iran attacked Israel directly for the first time in April, firing at least 350 missiles, most of which were intercepted by Israel and a coalition led by the United States.

Speaking to CNN this week, the Iranian president reaffirmed his nation’s backing for Hezbollah and accused the West of helping Israel defend itself following the terror assaults by Hamas on October 7.

He said: “Hezbollah cannot stand alone against a country that is being defended and supported and supplied by Western countries, by European countries and the United States.”

Hezbollah began striking Israel on October 8, one day after the terror attack by Hamas.

But tensions spiked when many pagers and walkie-talkies burst last week, killing dozens of the terror group’s fighters and injuring thousands more.

Israel began “Operation Northern Arrows” on Monday, and since then, it has attacked Hezbollah locations in Lebanon several times.

The Lebanese health officials report that the operation has resulted in the deaths of at least 600 people.
