The influencer and mother, who describes herself as a “Colitis warrior, Charity Ambassador, Newspaper Journalist and Podcast host”, revealed that she used to be mortified talking about life with a stoma bag.

But now, not only is she raising awareness about it, but she’s cashing in too.

In a recent clip shared on social media, Holly, who previously opened up on her horrendous experience at a Taylor Swift concert, explained how making videos online and talking about her life with a stoma is enabling her to pay her mortgage.

She said: “I just saw a creator do this video saying about how a video had paid her mortgage this month.

“And I just wanna say that my missing bum hole is paying my mortgage, well, my portion of the mortgage this month, because last month, you all went crazy for my videos talking about my missing bum hole, and I made quite a bit of money off that.

“So, thank you to everybody for watching me talk about my missing bum hole and sharing and spreading awareness of that.

“It means a lot. So keep watching and keep learning and keep spreading the word, because some of us have no bum holes.”

In another video, Holly revealed the journey she has been on content creation, as she told her fans: “You never regret what you didn’t try.”

Alongside a clip of her posing in a bikini, she shared: “I remember first filming my TikToks with my stoma bag, feeling embarrassed and wondering if people would laugh at me or be mean.

“That was two years ago now. Since then I can honestly say this community has changed my life for the better.

“Sharing the ups and downs for all to see. Connecting with people like me. Inspiring others to live their life authentically.”

Keep spreading the word, because some of us have no bum holes

The TikTok clip has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just 14 hours ago, but Holly’s fans flocked to the comments to praise the influencer.

Many praised her ‘positivity’ and hailed her for using her platform to educate.

What are the red flag warning signs of bowel cancer?

IT'S the fourth most common cancer in the UK, the second deadliest - yet bowel cancer can be cured, if you catch it early enough.

While screening is one way of ensuring early diagnosis, there are things everyone can do to reduce their risk of the deadly disease.

Being aware of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, spotting any changes and checking with your GP can prove a life-saver.

If you notice any of the signs, don’t be embarrassed and don’t ignore them. Doctors are used to seeing lots of patients with bowel problems.

The five red-flag symptoms of bowel cancer include:

  • Bleeding from the back passage, or blood in your poo
  • A change in your normal toilet habits – going more frequently for example
  • Pain or a lump in your tummy
  • Extreme tiredness
  • Losing weight

Tumours in the bowel typically bleed, which can cause a shortage of red blood cells, known as anaemia. It can cause tiredness and sometimes breathlessness.

In some cases bowel cancer can block the bowel, this is known as a bowel obstruction.

Other signs include:

  • Gripping pains in the abdomen
  • Feeling bloated
  • Constipation and being unable to pass wind
  • Being sick
  • Feeling like you need to strain – like doing a number two – but after you’ve been to the loo

While these are all signs to watch out for, experts warn the most serious is noticing blood in your stools.

But, they warn it can prove tricky for doctors to diagnose the disease, because in most cases these symptoms will be a sign of a less serious disease.

Holly is currently campaigning to make emergency stoma kits available on the high street.

Why would you need a stoma bag?

A COLOSTOMY is an operation on the colon – a part of the bowel.

It diverts one end of the colon through an opening in the tummy, known as the stoma.

This means that the person can no longer pass poo.

The poo is instead collected in a stoma bag, which is placed over the opening.

Many people have to undergo a colostomy due to illness.

These can include:

A stoma may also be necessary due to genetic disorders, birth abnormalities, after trauma to the abdomen, and following radiotherapy.

We’re threatened with fines for parking outside my OWN homes – it’s outrageous & we are being targeted by the council

RESIDENTS on an estate are at risk of being fined for parking on their own driveways, after a council painted double yellow lines right outside their homes.

Maciej Gawlik has lived on the same street in Southampton for eight years – and claims at least two of his neighbours have already been fined.

The lines were painted on Mansfield Park Street three years ago right in front of homes, making it a struggle to park – and residents say wardens are targeting the area, as a result.

They claim at times two wardens will be issuing tickets on the street in the same day.

Maciej, 43, said his neighbour was slapped with a fine because his tyre was brushing one of the lines.

He can’t fit his in the garage and its now too big for the drive, so like others, he is forced to risk the wrath of the wardens.

Maciej said despite it being a new development with lots of first time buyers and growing families, “no thought” has gone into providing driveways and garages big enough for family cars.

He told the Southern Daily Echo: “It’s outrageous – so many of the people here have had to downsize their cars just so that they can fit them on their driveway.

“We have families with five children and they are being squeezed into a tiny Ford Fiesta – all because the council think they can come and make a bit of fast cash.”

Locals say they’ve been served £30 parking charges, which increase to £70 if not paid within two weeks.

Fellow resident, Kelly Taylor, 34, told the newspaper because there’s no space for visitors, one person is not able to come see his mum who has cancer.

Natasha Harding, 37, said she approached the council about buying an area of “wasted” green space next to her flat to turn into parking, but was “instantly shut down”.

Councillor Eamonn Keogh, cabinet member for environment and transport on Southampton City Council said: “Double yellow lines are used to enable the free flow of vehicles, especially emergency vehicles and service vehicles, in any particular area.

“Residents can request a review of the parking restrictions in their area through the form on our website.

“Drivers who receive a Penalty Charge Notice are entitled to submit an appeal on our website.”

The council did not wish to comment further when contacted by The Sun.

‘Mercenary’ Charles Barkley causing major issues at TNT Sports with tensions escalating on Inside the NBA set

CHARLES Barkley’s decision to remain a pundit on TNT has caused huge problems behind the scenes, a source has told The U.S. Sun.

The NBA legend announced at the end of last season that his 24 years behind the mic were ending, as the TV network lost the rights at the end of the new campaign.

Inside the NBA, which has been on air since 1989, is set for one last hurrah with fans still loving Shaquille O’Neal, Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson letting rip every week.

Amazon secured an 11-year, $76 billion contract in July, meaning Shaq and Co’s run will finish in 2025.

Barkley performed a dramatic U-turn last month and announced a change of heart to remain with TNT.

They plan to use him for all manner of sports in their extensive live sports portfolio.

A well-placed source, however, has told The U.S. Sun the shock decision has not gone down well.

The insider revealed that everyone doubts the veracity of anything the legend of the 76ers, Phoenix Suns, and Houston Rockets says.

“People are pissed at Charles because he said he would retire, but now he most likely won’t,” a member of the Inside the NBA crew told The U.S. Sun.

“That kind of behavior really throws doubts on everything he says.

“He says that he cares about the team and workers.

“And now he wants a huge deal and pretty much will go wherever as long as he gets his money.”

Barkley penned a 10-year deal with TNT in 2022.

CEO Luis Silberwasser hailed the 61-year-old as “one of the best and most beloved sportscasters in the history of television.”

“I know I speak for all the members of the TNT Sports family when I say we are incredibly thrilled to share this mutual commitment to continue showcasing Charles’ one-of-a-kind talents and entertain fans well into the future,” Silberwasser said in August.

But the source thinks the only person Barkley cares about is himself.

“This is mercenary behavior,” he snapped.

“People don’t like that he plays that public persona where he says that he cares about the crew and the workers and in reality he doesn’t.

Barkley claimed his “priority has been and always will be our people and keeping everyone together for as long as possible.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce mark major relationship milestone despite pop star missing first Chiefs NFL game of season

TRAVIS Kelce and Taylor Swift passed a major milestone in their relationship this week.

Tuesday marked a year to the day when Swift sent everybody into meltdown when she was spotted at a Chiefs game.

Kelce has had a tough start to the 2024 NFL season[/caption]

The music megastar was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs’ showdown against the Chicago Bears on September 24 last year.

She watched the game in a suite next to Kelce’s mom Donna and was then seen leaving with the NFL player.

The pair were first spotted holding hands in public in October 2023 as their relationship blossomed.

Swift was then a regular at Chiefs games throughout the campaign.

That included a frantic dash from her concert in Tokyo, Japan, to Las Vegas, Nevada, to watch the Super Bowl in February.

Her attendance has continued into this season, where she was seen at both Kansas City Chiefs home games in Week 1 and 2.

Swift watched the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, September 5 at Arrowhead Stadium.

She also returned for the Chiefs’ showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals the following week.

But the musician missed Sunday’s win over the Atlanta Falcons at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

The U.S. Sun revealed this week that Swift skipped the trip to Atlanta to prepare for the next leg of her blockbuster world tour.

And she is planning on attending Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

“Going to the game in Atlanta wasn’t possible because she had scheduled time with some friends, like Gigi Hadid, whom she spent time with on the weekend, and other friends that she hasn’t seen in a while,” an insider said.

“She wanted to hang out with them before returning to the tour soon. But she plans to return to the next game to support Travis.

“They talked on the phone before the game and after the game, too.

'He works his tail off'

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid leaped to Travis Kelce's defence after a slow start to the season.

Kelce has just eight catches for 69 yards and zero touchdowns through three games.

Reid said, “I know people are saying that he is old or whatever, has distractions and all this the defenses don’t think that.

“We have another receiver [Rashee Rice] that plays opposite him that has a lot of yards and catches and that’s how this thing goes.

“He works his tail off and he hasn’t lost his step and all those things and he’s not distracted. That’s not the case.

“People are making sure they have him taken care of by some of these defenses.”

“She wanted to congratulate him on the win!”

Kelce has endured a rough start on the field this season.

He has just eight catches through three games for a total of 69 yards with no touchdowns.

Both Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes jumped to Kelce’s defence.

Reid said, “I know people are saying that he is old or whatever, has distractions and all this but the defenses don’t think that.

“He works his tail off and he hasn’t lost his step and all those things and he’s not distracted. That’s not the case.

“People are making sure they have him taken care of by some of these defenses.”

Mahomes added, “I obviously want to give him the ball and let him impact the game that way.

“But the more defenses respect him, other guys get open and other guys make plays.”
