BIANCA Jackson has come up with a scheming new plan to expose a hidden Walford secret in EastEnders.
Patsy Palmer returned to the show as Bianca earlier this week and she has already wreaked havoc around Albert Square.
Her surprise re-appearance comes as she battles to save Sonia Jackson from being jailed for the murder of Reiss’ wife, Debbie Colwell.
BBC viewers know that Reiss killed his own wife after being left in crippling debt.
Comatose Debbie required round the clock care and it had started to become a costly habit for Reiss.
Amid his new engagement and baby on the way with Sonia, Reiss decided that the best way to regain some control over his finances was to stop paying for Debbie’s care and as such was forced to murder her.
However, in a cruel twist, Sonia was jailed for the crime after being the last recorded visitor of Debbie.
Convinced something is amiss, Bianca has become hellbent on proving that Reiss has had some part to play in Debbie’s death.
She has been seeking revenge in order to expose his true colours and has now come up with a cunning plan in order to get the truth once and for all.
Speaking to Kat in The Queen Vic, she at first appeared to insinuate that she had forgiven Reiss as she planned to move-in with him.
Bianca said: “Guess what, I’m moving back into Sonia’s.
“I’m going to be there 24/7, working on the campaign [to free Sonia] with Reiss.”
Kat replied: “He’ll love that!”
Bianca then continued: “Best thing that could happen for Sonia.
“Him and me living together, working together.
“Then, when that slimy little toad slips up, I’ll be there to catch him.”
Kat responded in shock at what Bianca was planning amid her belief that Reiss is innocent.
Bianca insisted: “He’s hiding something Kat. I know he is.
“So, I’m going to move in there and I’m going to be his best mate and then I’m going to watch him crack.
Most complained about soap storylines
Over the years, all three of the main soaps have featured plots that have had even die-hard fans reaching for their phones and laptops so they can get in touch with Ofcom and complain. Here are just some of the most scandalous…
EastEnders baby theft: 13,400Ofcom complaints – Back in 2011, EastEnders was flooded with complaints when Ronnie Branning (RIP) swapped her baby for the dead son of Kat Moon. The storyline drew the most number of objections in the soap’s long history and saw it roundly criticised by campaigners – with 13,400 flying in over the course of the storyline. Some viewers called it “distressing” and “horrific” but Ofcom ruled the scenes were not “unduly disturbing”.
Emmerdale dog-napping: 550 Ofcom complaints – Back in 2016, Ross Barton and Charity Dingle came up with a plan to steal a dog and hold it ransom – but viewers didn’t like it one bit. The nation’s pet owners rose up, insisting the storyline would encourage copycats (not to mention copydogs). Complaints over two episodes totalled a staggering 550 and soap writers quickly learnt you don’t mess with animal-lovers.
Coronation Street double murder: 546 Ofcom complaints – Marginally less people complained about a gruesome double murder than objected to a dog-napping plot when Pat Phelan was at the centre of a spate of killings. First he forced Andy Carver to shoot dead Vinny Ashford – and then Pat killed Andy. All the bloodshed back in 2017 proved to be too much for some viewers, who lodged complaints in vast numbers about the “violent scenes”.

A LITTLE-known car brand is ready to take the UK by storm with the release of two budget motors – including a small EV that is priced at just £15,995.
Chinese firm Leapmotor have joined the likes of Omoda and Avatr as new makers of electric vehicles seeking their fortune in Europe.
Leapmotor are coming to the UK with two bargain EVs – including the second-cheapest electric car to be made available[/caption]
The little city car is only £1,000 pricier than the Dacia Spring[/caption]
The brand are also releasing a mid-size SUV to take on the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5[/caption]
Leapmotor, which is less than 10 years old, has revealed two great-value models that could become wildly popular – their C10 family SUV and the T03 city car.
The T03 stands out for its £15,995 price tag, making it the UK’s second-cheapest electric car at just £1,000 more than the Dacia Spring.
Similar in looks to the Kia Picanto, Sun Motors supremo Rob Gill has already taken the T03 for a spin – describing it in his road test as a “no-frills, budget EV” and highlighting that it’s £6,000 cheaper than a Fiat 500.
Indeed, Leapmotor has teamed up with Fiat-making Stellantis – who owns the likes of Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and others – to build and sell their cars in Europe.
For the extra £1,000, the T03 comes with a larger battery than its Dacia rival that provides an extra 26 miles of range per charge – roughly the length of a marathon.
It’s also slightly nippier than the Spring, with a motor capable of 94bhp that is capable of hitting 0-62mph in 12.7 seconds.
But for Brit drivers looking for something a little bit bigger, Leapmotor’s C10 model is closer in style to the hugely popular Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Tesla Model Y, and will be offered in just one specification that’s priced at £36,500.
Described as a mid-size crossover SUV, the C10 packs a 215bhp motor with a range of 261 miles and a battery that charges from 30-80% in about half an hour.
Orders for both motors will be opened next month, and first deliveries are expected to begin in December, while Leapmotor will reveal their third model, an SUV called the B10, at the upcoming Paris motor show.
This comes as another Chinese firm called Denza is preparing for its European launch and will look to take on the might of Porsche.
And a British sports car brand is ready to release a new flagship model in just weeks – and it’ll follow a legendary supercar from the 1990s.
Sun Motors’ Rob Gill recently took the T03 for a spin and compared it to the Fiat 500[/caption]
Both cars will be sold in the UK by December[/caption]

HE’S the cheeky chappy who left DIY SOS viewers in tears and lit up the dancefloor at the weekend.
But Nick Knowles has been plagued with some SOS moments of his own throughout his life.
Nick Knowles and Luba Mushtuk on Strictly: It Takes Two[/caption]
Nick suffered an injury after changing a tyre[/caption]
His future on Strictly is in the balance[/caption]
And he may be facing his latest as his Strictly future hangs in the balance after suffering a nasty injury while changing a car tyre.
The TV presenter, who’s paired with Luba Mushtuk on the show, has been pictured with his arm in a sling, looking downcast.
Earlier this week a source told The Sun: “Nick has hurt his arm and is terrified he’s going to have to leave Strictly.
“He’s going to speak to a doctor and then with the BBC.
“Nick knows that be needs to give himself time to recover and that means he won’t be able to train properly with Luba.”
It’s not the first time Nick has suffered heartbreak, having weathered a string of scandals, including an acrimonious divorce, accusations of “emotional cruelty” and claims he will only date women under 30.
As he fights to ensure he keeps dancing, we look at the ups and downs of the TV handyman.
Tangled love life and bitter divorce
Nick, who grew up on a council estate in Southall, first wed in the 1990s and had two children with first wife Gillian — son Charlie, 28, and daughter Tuesday, 27.
The couple split when the children were toddlers and Nick has another son Tyrian-J, 28, from a brief affair with beauty therapist Paula Beckett-Vass.
He moved in with presenter Suzi Perry after meeting her on the set of City Hospital, splitting with her three years later, in 2003.
But it was his second marriage, to Jessica Moor, which caused the star the biggest headache.
The couple have a young son Eddie, now ten, but when they split in 2016, after four years of marriage, she accused him of “emotional cruelty, abuse and eventually isolation.”
The row erupted on Twitter after Jessica claimed her ex had refused to pay Eddie’s school fees as the divorce talks turned ugly.
She tweeted: “After years of intimidation, emotional cruelty, abuse and eventually isolation (that I have kept silent about — of which I have diaries and images), this is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
Nick furiously denied the claims, insisting he was “extremely hurt” by the accusations and said he would continue to pay his son’s fees directly to the school.
‘Cruel’ dumping after public snap
But Jessica is not the only ex to slam the star’s behaviour.
Following the marriage split he dated Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten but she says he instantly changed when their romance became public, after they were snapped at the TV Choice awards in September 2016.
“One Sunday morning we were lying in bed and all these texts came through about us being photographed together,” said Gemma.
“In an instant, he completely changed. It was all about him and how it was going to affect his family. It was really cruel as he said it didn’t matter for me. I felt sick.”
She added: “I said, ‘Do you want to throw away what we have? We have done nothing wrong’. But he just dropped me like a ton of bricks.
“I thought it was a real relationship and he wasn’t afraid to let others know.”
‘Mid-life crisis’
More controversy followed when TOWIE star Pascal Craymer – 25 years his junior – revealed they were dating, saying: “He’s so lovely. We’re seeing how it goes. He gets portrayed badly but he’s a nice guy.”
But he embarrassed her by instantly denying their romance and she responded by saying he was having a “mid-life crisis”.
Nick went on to date marketing executive Rebecca Kearns and PR executive Emily Hallinan – both 30 years his junior.
And reality star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace called him out when she claimed he would only date women under 30.
“Nick was trying to kid himself. He tried to chat me up that one time. That’s all I know!,” she told The Sun in 2018.
“And then he must have Googled me and found out my date of birth and realised I was far too old for him.”
She added: “He’s a delightful gentleman and I like a silver fox but I do feel like something happened when he realised I wasn’t under 30 and then I was dumped.”
Nick – who split with Emily in February 2021 – has previously confessed to commitment phobia.
“My relationships have pretty much followed a pattern,” he said in 2008.
“They last six months and start off with me explaining that I work a lot,so will have commitment issues.
“The women involved agree that that is fine, then after a month I get a phone call saying, ‘This isn’t on’. After three months we split up, then get back together. After five, there’s another tussle. At six it’s all off.”
Planning a THIRD wedding
Nick got engaged to Katie Dadzie last year[/caption]
She’s 27 years his junior but has hit back at “gold digger” jibes[/caption]
Nick is now planning his third wedding, after getting engaged to Katie Dadzie, who’s 27 years his junior, last year.
The couple have been together since 2021 and met when Katie’s daughters befriended Nick’s youngest lad Eddie at a play centre.
A pal said: “They are so in love and absolutely adore each other. Katie is over the moon that Nick popped the question.”
At the time, cruel trolls not only called out the generational divide but also suggested Katie – despite having her own successful brand – was a “gold digger.”
In a stark response, she told The Sun on Sunday: “Nick has a Peter Pan complex, he doesn’t act the age he is at all.
“He is like a teenage boy and has so much energy. I also act a bit older, so it works out.
“We’re really happy and support each other with kids and our work lives. He’s a really lovely person.
“We have separate homes, which I think works for our relationship.”
On screen spats and ‘sexism’ row
Nick’s fiery temper has been known to get him into trouble in the past.
During the filming of the Big Build, in 2018, he upset interior designer Gabrielle Blackman by berating her on-screen for borrowing his workmen to make table tops.
After Nick told her she’d “dropped a clanger” on the job Gabrielle accused him of getting “very emotional” over the issue and insisted he was overreacting.
Nick’s stint on I’m a Celebrity also got him in hot water with viewers and producers alike.
He was accused of being sexist during a row over rice portions when he suggested the female celebrities would be “a bit jumpier” because they were on their periods.
He told John Barrowman: “Remember the girls are going to be a bit jumpier because of what time of the month they told us it is. We’re going to have that for a couple of days with the girls. “
Anne Hegarty also revealed that Nick became the campmates’ champion, having “blazing rows” with producers in the Bush Telegraph.
“I don’t think (the viewers) have seen how protective Nick gets with the other campmates,” she said on her exit from the jungle. “And how he’ll have blazing rows in the Bush Telegraph if he thinks the rest of us are being put at risk in any way.”
Campmate Malique Dwyer Thompson also revealed that Nick had “big disputes” with Noel Edmonds around the campfire that weren’t aired.
But Nick claimed producers were “absolutely furious” with him because he encouraged the campmates to stick together.
“They did anything to try and wind us up. And the more we stuck together the more it really got on their nerves,” he said. “They hated me by the end of it!”
He also found himself in hot water in 2021, after breaching BBC rules by filming a Shreddies ad.
Beeb bosses were upset that the TV star drew on his DIY SOS profile to play a builder in the cereal ad and he was said to be in “utter turmoil” over fears he faced the sack.
‘Ruined home’
In 2023, a family claimed Nick and the DIY SOS team wrecked their home and they begged the BBC not to air the episode – which fell on deaf ears as it was aired in June 2022.
Peter Chapman said the Beeb ignored his plea not to televise their renovation after the fix-it team made their lives “hell” – leaving them wanting to quit the UK.
The full-time carer to wife Sarah, daughter Suzanne and autistic brother Steve, were embroiled in a three-year row over allegations DIY SOS carried out an error-strewn renovation project at their bungalow in February 2020.
Peter was seeking compensation from the broadcasters, claiming the show’s tradespeople caused £30,000 of destruction to the home in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham.
The refurbishment initially appeared to have gone smoothly, but Peter said issues began to emerge soon after they moved back in.
He added errors carried out by Nick Knowles and his crew included wall bars on the loo for wheelchair-using Sarah and Suzanne coming off on the first day.
Other issues included a leaking roof, which had buckets catching water, cracks in the patio decking, making it unsafe for Sarah to use her wheelchair and a ramp that was too steep for her wheelchair – issues he said could have proved fatal.
He also blamed the programme for laying a driveway that sank and had to be re-laid, cracks in some of the bungalow’s walls, a lack of insulation in two ceilings and installing a slippery hard floor in the lounge when he wanted to keep carpet.
Peter claimed to have refused an offer of £15,000 from the BBC, saying it would not come close to covering the cost of the repairs.
Album flop and driving ban
Guitarist Nick has long harboured dreams of a musical career which came to an abrupt end in 2017 after his first album, Every Kind of People, flopped spectacularly.
The album of covers limped into the charts at no.92 and was slammed by Shane Ritchie, who mocked him as a “chippie who sings”, as well as beginning a war of words with Noel Gallagher.
“Noel Gallagher was promoting an album at the time and he said it sounded like I was having a stroke when I was singing,” Nick told the Sun.
“Noel’s about 55 now and he’s still trying to say things like a teenager.
“But trying to stay current by taking the p*ss out of somebody who does makeover programmes on TV — it’s a little less rock ’n’ roll, isn’t it?”
He also says the flop damaged his love of music.
“I didn’t pick up a guitar for about 18 months after the album came out,” he said.
“I took a bit of a kicking for it and I felt like the joy had been taken out of it for me. It took the love of it away.”
The presenter found himself on the wrong side of the law in 2019, when he was caught speeding and using a mobile phone near his Cotswolds home.
He admitted doing 85mph in a 70mph limit in his Range Rover and told the court he had a hands-free kit but was using his phone due to a “dodgy power lead”.
He was banned from driving for six months and fined nearly £1,500.
1 week agoWorld LeaksComments Off on Two NEW foods added to urgent recall amid fears 64 ‘contaminated’ dips, sandwiches and wraps pose ‘lethal threat’
ANOTHER two foods have been pulled from supermarket shelves over fears they pose a ‘health risk’ – as millions are warned not to eat them,
Last week, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) recalled dozens of foods and condiments they had reason to believe might be with peanuts not listed on the label.
Sold under various brand names and across a range of stores, recalled dips, sandwiches and salads contain mustard powder, which may have traces of peanuts.
“This means these products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts,” the FSA said.
“If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat them.”
The alert was first issued at the end of last week when the food watchdog urged Brits with peanut allergies to avoid all mustard-containing products while they determined the source of the contamination.
Since then, they have published a full list of 64 products they believe have been contaminated, which was updated yesterday to include the Thiccc Sauce Meat Candy & Thiccc Sauce BBQ Sriracha.
Two Domino’s dip flavours are among the recalled items: the Domino’s Garlic & Herb Dip and the Honey & Mustard one.
Sold in convenience stores and off-licences, a number of SPAR sandwiches, wraps and pasta salads have been pulled from shelves too.
Food can be recalled for a number of reasons, such as contamination with pathogens like listeria or salmonella that could cause food poisoning, or because of manufacturing faults, such as plastic or metal being found in the product.
Incorrect or missing allergen information can also lead to a recall, FSA guidance states.
When products are recalled, retailers remove them from shop shelves and ask customers to return them for a full refund.
Other items included on the recent recall alert that may contain traces of peanuts include Fazilas wraps and Clayton Park sandwiches.
Peanut allergies are particularly common, affecting about one in 50 children in the UK, increasing in recent decades, according to Allergy UK.
Allergies usually develops in early childhood but, occasionally, can appear in later life.
Peanut allergies tend to be persistent and only approximately one in five children outgrow their allergy, usually by the age of 10.
If you think you or your child may be allergic to peanuts, see your GP who can refer you to a specialist allergy clinic.
It’s important to get a referral even if the symptoms were mild because it can be hard to tell if future allergic reactions could be more serious.
The signs of an allergic reaction and anaphylaxis + what to do
SYMPTOMS of an allergy usually occur within minutes of contact with with the offending food or trigger, but they can also come on up to one hour later.
Most allergic reactions are mild but they can also be moderate or severe.
Anaphylaxis is the most severe form of allergic reaction which can be life threatening.
In some cases, anaphylaxis symptoms lead to collapse and unconsciousness and, on rare occasions, can be fatal so it’s important to know how to recognise them and act quickly.
Mild to moderate symptoms include:
Itchy mouth, tongue and throat
Swelling of lips, around the eyes or face
Red raised itchy rash (often called nettle rash, hives or urticaria)
Vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhoea
Runny nose and sneezing
Severe symptoms of anaphylaxis include:
Swelling of your throat and tongue
Difficulty breathing or breathing very fast
Difficulty swallowing, tightness in your throat or a hoarse voice
Wheezing, coughing or noisy breathing
Feeling tired or confused
Feeling faint, dizzy or fainting
Skin that feels cold to the touch
Blue, grey or pale skin, lips or tongue – if you have brown or black skin, this may be easier to see on the palms of your hands or soles of your feet
Anaphylaxis and its symptoms should be treated as a medical emergency.
Follow these steps if you think you or someone you’re with is having an anaphylactic reaction:
Use an adrenaline auto-injector (such as an EpiPen) if you have one – instructions are included on the side of the injector.
Call 999 for an ambulance and say that you think you’re having an anaphylactic reaction.
Lie down – you can raise your legs, and if you’re struggling to breathe, raise your shoulders or sit up slowly (if you’re pregnant, lie on your left side).
If you have been stung by an insect, try to remove the sting if it’s still in the skin.
If your symptoms have not improved after 5 minutes, use a second adrenaline auto-injector.
Do not stand or walk at any time, even if you feel better.
Sources: Allergy UK, NHS
Dominos previously urged those with a peanut allergy to dispose of the dips mentioned on the recall alert and avoid consuming them.
The fast-food chain apologised for any concern this may cause and recommended that customers with queries visit their contact form here.
A Domino’s spokesman said: “At Domino’s Pizza, the quality of our products and the safety of our customers is the highest priority, particularly when it comes to allergens.
“We have become aware that some of our Garlic & Herb and Honey & Mustard dip may contain traces of peanut.
“This issue may impact both our 100g ‘Big Dip’ pots and the smaller, 25g, pots we provide with our pizzas.
“If you DO HAVE A PEANUT ALLERGY, please dispose of the dips and do not consume them.
“If you DO NOT have a peanut allergy, no further action is required.”
1 week agoWorld LeaksComments Off on Exactly how much MORE you’d have to pay per pint under Labour’s ‘sin tax’ raid
PUNTERS could soon be hammered by a hefty price hike on a pint of beer following Labour’s ‘sin tax’ raid.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves is reportedly considering lifting the price of a pint of beer or cider, and a shot of spirits, as well as increasing the levy on a packet of cigarettes.
Smokers and drinkers face being clobbered in a Budget ‘sin tax’ raid to boost Treasury coffers[/caption]
Health Secretary Wes Streeting — who has previously insisted he’s not the ‘fun police’ — called for a national debate on an outdoor smoking ban[/caption]
Unsurprisingly, London has the most expensive pint in the country, with the average one costing a frightening £7.15, meaning residents in the Big Smoke could soon be set back close to a tenner for a pint of lager or cider.
Belfast, at £6.71, and Brighton and Hove, at £6.60, came in at second and third respectively, according to recent research.
Currently 35 per cent of hospitality businesses are not making a profit and some 500 pubs shut for good last year alone.
Meanwhile, the pub and brewery sector contributes £26.2billion to the UK economy and also generates £15.1billion in tax.
Emma McClarkin, chief of the British Beer and Pub Association, said any plan to further hurt pubs will be a “bitter blow”.
She said: “After the Chancellor’s pre-election promise of a five point plan for pubs, it is impossible to see how this will be fulfilled if the price of a pint is increased by the Government.
“The cost of doing business has soared in recent years and, with potentially new punishing burdens, this tax increase is the last thing pubs and beer drinkers need.”
On the other hand, the BBPA estimates a five per cent drop in beer duty would create an extra 12,000 jobs.
Ms McClarkin also wants Ms Reeves to maintain 75 per cent business rates relief and said: “Anything less will be a total betrayal of the great British pub that this Government promised to protect, and the one million jobs that depend on them.”
Brian Perkins, CEO of Budweiser Brewing Group UK, said: “Rather than increasing beer duty, the new Government should support our struggling brewing and hospitality sectors by cutting beer duty.
“The average British pint is already taxed twelve times more than on the continent.”
Mark Kent, of the Scotch Whisky Association, said: “A further duty increase would be a hammer blow.”
“It would serve no economic purpose to increase duty on spirits, with a £300m reduction in revenue since the duty increase last year by the outgoing government.
“We need a change in direction from the new Chancellor.”
Tough on NHS
WES Streeting has defended his recent criticism of the NHS, insisting only urgent reform can save the struggling service.
The Health Secretary made it clear he will not be swayed by critics, after anonymous NHS insiders told the BBC of “growing unease” over the Government’s messaging.
He told the Labour Party conference yesterday that not acknowledging the problems in the NHS would result in “killing it with kindness”.
Mr Streeting said: “I know the doctor’s diagnosis can sometimes be hard to hear.
“But if you don’t have an accurate diagnosis, you won’t provide the correct prescription.
“And when you put protecting its reputation above protecting patients, you’re not helping the NHS, you’re killing it with kindness.
“I won’t back down. The NHS is broken, but it’s not beaten, and together we will turn it around.”
His comments come after senior people in the health service expressed unease over Labour’s tough talk.
One hospital chief told the BBC harsh rhetoric could spook patients and crush staff morale. He added: “Hope is important.”
In recent weeks, the Government has claimed cancer is a “death sentence” due to NHS failings, while maternity services “shame” Britain.
Ahead of the election Ms Reeves championed local pubs.
She said: “Brits love our locals. Let’s back our landlords to keep our pubs going. We want to save the British pub because I know what an important institution they are in so many communities.”
At the Budget in March, then Tory Chancellor Jeremy Hunt said alcohol duty — which was due to rise by three per cent in August — would stay frozen to February 2025.
But tobacco duty went up by £2 per 100 cigarettes in a one-off increase which ensured vaping was cheaper.
Sir Keir Starmer has vowed to act to reduce 88,000 smoking-related deaths every year.
There is already anger at proposal to ban smoking in pub beer gardens.
Mr Streeting told Sky News yesterday: “We definitely want to see smoking phased out in our country, we committed to that in our manifesto. I’m considering, and I’m up for a national debate on this issue.
“We’re becoming sicker sooner and there is a heavy price being paid for that in our economy, our public finances and our health.”
Addressing a booze and fag duty hike, a Whitehall source told The Sun: “The budget has not been decided, there’s a long way to go before the package is finalised.”
One Treasury source tried to play down the move saying: “Sounds like a load of classic pre-Budget speculation to me.”
And a Treasury spokesman added: “We do not comment on speculation around tax changes outside of fiscal events.”
I wasn’t looking for a relationship, I was still in mourning.
Mayci Neeley
She said: “I would love to tell more of my story in season 2. We filmed a little bit of it in season 1, but it all got cut.
“So I’m really hoping that people can see that.”

According to the show’s official synopsis, the series follows the “scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers implodes when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines.”
The scandal began in 2022 after MomTok frontrunner Taylor Frankie Paul revealed she was divorcing her ex-husband, Tate Paul.

Taylor said she and Tate agreed they wouldn’t “go all the way” with the other members.
“The whole group was intimate with each other,” she said, adding, “Tate has made out with several girls and other things, and I’ve made out with all of the husbands and vice versa.”

AP Business Writer China is redoubling its first-aid for the economy, targeting banks, workers and poor families as the ruling Communist Party prepares to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic. Reports Thursday said the government plans to spend about $142 billion on recapitalizing six big state-owned banks. Authorities also said
