WEST HAM manager Julen Lopetegui was spotted leaving Anfield on crutches following last night’s Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool.

The Hammers suffered a 5-1 loss to Arne Slot’s side as their season went from bad to worse.

Jarell Quansah scored an own-goal to give West Ham the advantage after 21 minutes, but Diogo Jota quickly equalised.

Second-half strikes from Jota, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo then sealed the win for Liverpool.

New Hammers boss Lopetegui was animated on the touchline throughout and even appeared to injure himself at one point.

With the score at 3-1, summer signing Crysencio Summerville missed a huge chance for the visitors.

Lopetegui reacted by jumping in the air, but suffered a calf issue in the process.

He then spent the remainder of the match seated in the dugout.

During his post-match press conference, the Spaniard admitted: “I have one little injury in my calf.”

Lopetegui went on to give his verdict on the game, adding: “I don’t think that we deserve this score. I think that we have been in the match, in a lot of moments, even better than them.

“I prefer not to talk about the referee. It is very clear for me the decisions have been against us and the key decisions.

“But in the end when we had chances to score we didn’t do. To win these kind of matches you have to stay close.

“After the third goal and the red card it was much more difficult. The last part of the match was very bad for us.”

Liverpool will now face Brighton away in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

It’s called a demo, but it’s so beefy that it is longer than plenty of regular releases.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is the upcoming RPG from Atlus, developed by many of the team from the modern Persona series.

It features many of the same aspects that people love from the Persona series, such as the mix of dungeon crawling and building friendships.

However, Metaphor takes place in a completely different world with a high-fantasy setting.

Much like Persona 5, Metaphor: ReFantazio will reportedly take around 100 hours to complete, which is why the demo is so big.

The demo starts from the beginning of the game and you play through the first part of the game.

This includes the first four dungeons, as well as the ability to unlock seven of the more than 40 Archetypes.

You will also meet six of your followers, which is Metaphor’s version of the social links from the Persona games.

It’s estimated that the demo will take players four to five hours to complete, making it one of the biggest game demos we’ve seen.

It still only covers a tiny portion of the whole game, but it will let you know if you’ll enjoy the full game.

Even better, everything you complete while playing the demo will be transferred over to the game if you purchase it once it’s released.

This means even if you plan on purchasing the game, you can get a headstart without losing any progress.

The demo was originally exclusive to Xbox players, but is now available on all release platforms.

So whether you’re planning to play on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, or PC via Windows or Steam, you’ll be able to grab the demo for free.

Metaphor: ReFantazio will release on October 11, 2024, so you have just over two weeks to complete the prologue before launch.
