‘Next level irresponsibility’ people cry as mum reveals she bought her THREE-year-old a ‘smartphone’

A MUM has caused outrage after revealing that she bought a “smartphone” for her three year old daughter.

Alanis Dyble, said that she thinks her daughter is going to absolutely love the phone, which she is saving to give her at Christmas.

“I got my three year old her own phone, because I am that mum”, she said, in a viral TikTok video.

The “children’s smartphone” looks like a smaller version of a normal smartphone, and comes with a unicorn phone case, a charger, and a strap to put the phone around your neck.

However, unlike a regular phone, you can’t call, text or use the internet on it.

Instead, it comes loaded up with kids games, nursery rhymes a camera and a torch.

It also has audiobooks on it, and is marketed as an educational toy.

“It’s basically a phone, but not a phone, because you can’t do anything crazy on here”, Alanis said.

She added that she bought the phone for her child so that she “thinks she’s just like us.”

She explained that her children love taking her phone and role playing as adults by pretending to make calls and texts.

“She can’t make calls on here, but she can pretend she’s talking to Peppa Pig“, Alanis said.

Alanis’ (alanisdyblexoxo) video has likely left many open-mouthed as it has racked up over 1.5 million views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, with many branding the mum of three “lazy” for giving her child the phone.

One person said: “The perfect gift for lazy parents who want their kid in a corner not disturbing them.”

A second person said: “Children should be out playing not playing on a phone.

The dangers of kids being glued to screens

A recent study has revealed that toddlers who spend a significant amount of time in front of screens may miss out on learning new words. The research, conducted by experts, suggests that excessive screen time can hinder a child’s language development. It is believed that interactive activities and direct human interaction are crucial for young children to acquire language skills effectively.

The study highlights that children under the age of two are particularly vulnerable to the negative effects of screen exposure. During these formative years, toddlers need to engage in face-to-face communication and play, which are essential for their cognitive and social development. The researchers emphasise the importance of parents and caregivers limiting screen time and instead encouraging more interactive and engaging activities.

Experts recommend that parents should prioritise activities such as reading, talking, and playing with their children to foster better language development. They also suggest that if screens are used, it should be in a way that promotes interaction, such as video calls with family members. The findings of this study serve as a reminder of the potential impact of technology on young children’s development and the need for mindful moderation of screen time.

“Take her to the park or something.”

A third person said: “That is next level irresponsibility.”

A fourth person added: “When I was 3 I was going outside and I didn’t know what a smartphone was.”

According to YouGov, 66% of Generation Alpha (kids born after 2010) started using tablets at age five or younger.

And Ofcom recently revealed that more than 90% of UK children have their own smartphone by age 11.

Tablet use in young children has been linked to behavioural problems such as temper tantrums and frustration.

David and Victoria Beckham facing ‘a year of misery’ at £31m London mansion as renovations kick off

DAVID and Victoria Beckham face up to a year of misery as their new next-door neighbours have had their grand renovation plans approved by the local council.

The West London council was concerned about the impact that the owner’s plans would have on the celebrity couple and ordered a meeting between them.

The adjoining property – worth over £40m – is undergoing a major overhaul with the new owner transforming all five floors of the house, which boasts six bedrooms and an underground swimming pool.

Some of the issues that have come about are to rectify illegal modifications of the historic Grade II property which were done without the correct planning permission in 2004.

These include demolishing walls, rearranging rooms, new kitchens and bathrooms, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, solar panels on the roof – plus new doors and windows.

But the council wanted the Beckhams on board and stated in its pre-planning advice document that it wouldn’t give planning permission without it.

The planning officer wrote: “You are expected to discuss your proposals with all neighbours with a boundary with your site, as we will advise them of any application, as well as any residents’ association or society. You may be able to deal with any concerns they may have before making the application and therefore avoid objections being submitted by them.

“Even if they continue to have concerns, they will be grateful for being better informed. I recommend you write to your neighbours to explain what you are intending to do and offer them the opportunity to discuss this with you. You should include a copy of drawings.

“You will be expected to provide details of the community engagement including details of the methods used and its outcomes including how the proposals have been amended to account for the feedback given. Where you have not made any changes based on the feedback received, you should provide reasons why.”

The Beckhams ran into issues when they made over their own £31m London home after buying it in 2013.

A neighbour complained to the council that their grand plans ‘will affect the historic character of the Victorian house of the streets, my house included.’

She added: “The council must identify our deep concerns about all adverse impacts on living conditions from noise, vibration, dirt, pollution and dust from construction and from associated traffic, in addition to concerns about impacts on drainage, on appearance and landscape, on structural stability, and on historic buildings.”

But the Beckhams got planning permission and did a four year renovation which means their four-storey house now has six bedrooms, an indoor pool, a wine cellar, a fashion runway, a gym and an at-home nail salon.

Inside David and Victoria's property empire

DUE to their jet-setting lifestyles, Posh and Becks rarely stay in the same place for long.

The pair have multiple properties all over the world to make sure they also have somewhere to stay wherever they end up.

They have managed to build up a £70million+ property empire over the years, which include:

London Townhouse

In 2013 Victoria and David splashed the cash on a £31.5million London Townhouse.

The property lies in Holland Park and the couple reportedly spent another £8million on renovations.

The Grade II listed home boasts an impressive entrance way and kitchen but it was previously revealed that part of the house had to be cordoned off due to being close to collapsing.

Cotswold farmhouse

The footballer and singer duo bought a £6.15million farmhouse in the Cotswolds in 2016.

This is where the family seem to spend a lot of their time together.

Similar to their London home, they spent quite a bit of money on renovating the home to their liking.

There is an outdoor swimming pool, football pitch, a traditional Estonian sauna.

It was also reported that they hired three-time Chelsea Flower Show winner Marcus Barnett to transform their outdoor space into a “fairytale garden” with a pergola and an orchard.

Miami Penthouse

It’s no secret that the Beckhams spend quite a bit of time in Miami due to David owning football team Inter Miami.

But, the family have a permanent residence for when they need to stay across the pond.

They own a £20million penthouse in the exclusive One Hundred Museum building.

The block was designed inspired by a seven-star hotel and has amazing views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Miami skyline.

The apartments have kitchens with quartz countertops, walk-in closets and spa-like bathrooms, along with a rooftop pool.

Burj Khalifa home

The Beckhams are the owners of a £4million Burj Khalifa home.

It’s been said that David bought the home in 2009.

Despite owning the home, the pair don’t tend to share much about the property.

Second Dubai home

David and Victoria bought a second home in Dubai in 2002.

They apparently bought a villa in Palm Jumeirah for £1.3million, but by 2008 its value was estimated to have gone up to £8million.

They soon realised they weren’t getting much use out of the home so they decided to give it to Victoria’s parents Tony and Jackie Adams.

Yacht

When the couple are wanting to go somewhere a bit more exotic, they can take a trip on their £5million yacht.

They bought the boat in 2021 after apparent being inspired by Elton John and David Furnish’s yacht trips.

The 93.5ft vessel has been named Seven, in tribue to David’s football career and the number he wore on his shirts for Manchester United and England, as well as their daughter’s middle name.

The yacht is kept around Miami, with the family often enjoying the sunshine there.

‘She’s beautiful’: Inside Elon Musk & married Italian PM Meloni’s VERY close ‘friendship’ as billionaire denies ‘affair’

ELON Musk has denied being romantically involved with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni – but social media users think images of the pair suggest otherwise.

The billionaire has said the PM is “even more beautiful inside than outside” while she’s affectionately referred to Musk as a “precious genius”.

Musk handed Giorgia Meloni the Global Citizen Award[/caption]

Images shared online show Musk, 53 and the Italian lawmaker, 47, gazing into each other’s eyes at the Global Citizen Awards in New York on Monday, as the Tesla founder handed her the award.

And if the photos captured weren’t enough to spark rumours, Meloni even requested Musk hand her the award himself months prior.

When handing over the achievement, Musk gushed that Meloni was “someone who is even more beautiful inside than outside” and joked “that can’t always be said about politicians”.

He then went on to refer to her affectionately as “authentic, honest and thoughtful”.

The Italian right-wing lawmaker responded by calling the billionaire a “precious genius”.

Users took to X, formerly Twitter, to express how the two could be more than friends after images from the awards night went viral.

One user said: “You can’t have mELONI without ELON.”

Another commented: “Find someone who looks at you the same way the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni looks at Elon Musk.”

And: “They would make a cute couple!”

But Musk jumped to the pair’s defence on his social media platform and squashed the dating rumours.

He said: “I was there with my Mom. There is no romantic relationship whatsoever with PM Meloni.”

Meloni split from her longtime partner Andrea Giambruno in 2023 after his lewd and sexist off-air comments were leaked – including asking a female TV colleague for a foursome.

The pair have an eight-year-old daughter together.

Musk has a complicated marriage history after being wedded to author Justine Wilson, 52 and twice married to Brit actress Talulah Riley, 39.

He’s also dated actress Amber Heard, 38, and singer Grimes, 36 – with whom he shares three children.

Musk and Meloni have met several times previously and have been on friendly terms for a while as the Tesla exec continues to befriend right-wing leaders.

In June last year, Musk jetted to Rome to meet the Italian leader at her official residence.

They bonded over their shared interests in declining birth rates and the untapped potential of artificial intelligence.

Musk also went to a gathering in December that was organised by Meloni’s Brothers of Italy political party.

He replied “yes” on X to a post claiming he had “reportedly accepted” the invite.

The four-day political youth festival Atreju confirmed his attendance on their own account, saying he was the “mystery” guest.

But there have been accusations that their close friendship is connected to the PM wanting to renew her links with Trump allies after Musk endorsed the ex-president for the upcoming election.

But Meloni claimed that the decision of Musk to introduce and present the award to her was made months ago and had “nothing to do with the American election campaign”.

Shocking pic of HUGE nest of deadly Asian hornets as big as a beach ball found in UK town days after swarm killed woman

A STARK warning has been issued after a shocking picture of a nest of deadly Asian hornets, as big as a beach ball, was found in a UK town.

Experts and climbers were summoned to remove a huge nest of deadly hornets in Hampshire on Tuesday.

Just days ago a woman died after being stung several times by the Asian hornets

The nest was found in a UK town

The nest was located in a tree at The Old Cemetery on Southampton Common.

Described as “apex predators”, the Asian hornets inject their poison 3.5mm into a human’s flesh.

In the event of being attacked, experts advice is to “cover your head and run”.

Just days ago, a 77-year-old woman was stung and killed by the Asian hornets during a mass attack in Brittany, France.

The woman was stung multiple times while on a hiking trip and despite the emergency services best efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Experts were first warned after a photo of the Southampton discovery was uploaded to the Asian Hornet Watch app.

To trap the deadly beasts, researchers used bait to track them back to the nest and then inject it with poison.

The nest was removed and the size of it compared to that of a beach ball.

Alan Baxter, Asian Hornet Coordinator for Hampshire has issued a stark warning to residents in the area.

He said: “Yesterday it was good to see our operation in action.

“It was one of the biggest (nests) which suggests it was quite a well-established colony.

“It was about 75 cm across. The National Bee unit has left a monitoring station there.

“We hope for the best and expect the worst so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more but that is purely speculation.

“If it is a homegrown one then we have got a problem on.

“If you do see one walk away quickly. Don’t stop and look at it.

“If you see a nest take a photo with your mobile phone. In the unlikely event that you are attacked, cover your head and run.”

The hornets are not only a danger to humans, but the environment and other wildlife, particularly to bees.

Mr Baxter urges people to download the Asian Hornet App to share any spotting’s of the hornets and alert experts.

The expert continued to explain that very young and elderly people are at a greater risk.

He added: “There were 72 nests found and destroyed last year in the UK. This year so far there have been 18.

“They come in as hitchhikers. There are thousands of them all over Europe.

“Here in Hampshire, we have the Hampshire Asian Hornet Contingency Plan which I wrote.

“We consider ourselves to be quite well prepared. Over the UK we have a network of 2,500 beekeepers. We have got a very good network.”

The Southampton nest has now been sent to a laboratory for experts to assess how long it had been there for.

Totton, Gosport and Portsmouth are among some of the other places where there have been similar discoveries in the south of England.

What to do if you're stung by an Asian hornet & symptoms to look out for

  • Removing stingers

If anything is left on, or in your skin, the first thing you need to do is remove it carefully, according to the NHS.

  1. Brush or scrape the stinger sideways with your fingernail or the edge of a bank card.
  2. Do not use tweezers to pull out a stinger as you could squeeze poison out of it.
  3. Wash the area with soap and water.
  • Easing your symptoms

If there’s nothing in your skin, or you’ve removed it, wash your skin with soap and water to help lower the chance of infection.

The bite or sting should get better in a few days. There are some things you can do to ease your symptoms.

DO

  • Put an ice pack wrapped in a cloth or a clean cloth soaked in cold water on the bite or sting for at least 20 minutes, if it’s swollen
  • Keep the area raised if you can
  • Take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen if the sting is painful
  • Use antihistamines to relieve any itching
  • Use a hydrocortisone cream to reduce itching and swelling

DON’T

  • Do not scratch the bite or sting, as it could get infected
  • Do not use home remedies such as bicarbonate of soda to treat the bite or sting

You should ask for an urgent GP appointment or call 111 if:

  • Your symptoms get worse or are not getting any better
  • You were stung in your mouth or throat, or near your eyes
  • You have tummy pain and are being sick
  • You feel dizzy or lightheaded
  • A large area around the bite or sting becomes red and swollen
  • You have a high temperature and swollen glands
  • You were stung more than once
  • You’ve had a serious allergic reaction to an insect bite or sting before

Call 999 if:

  • Your lips, mouth, throat or tongue suddenly become swollen
  • You’re breathing very fast or struggling to breathe (you may become very wheezy or feel like you’re choking or gasping for air)
  • Your throat feels tight or you’re struggling to swallow
  • Your skin, tongue or lips turn blue, grey or pale (if you have black or brown skin, this may be easier to see on the palms of your hands or soles of your feet)
  • You suddenly become very confused, drowsy or dizzy
  • Someone faints and cannot be woken up
  • A child is limp, floppy or not responding like they normally do (their head may fall to the side, backwards or forwards, or they may find it difficult to lift their head or focus on your face)

You or the person who’s unwell may also have a rash that’s swollen, raised or itchy.

These can be signs of a serious allergic reaction and may need immediate treatment in hospital.

Trolls say I should be ashamed because I live in a council house – they judge & assume I’m on benefits but I don’t care

A YOUNG woman has hit back at trolls who make assumptions about those living in council properties.

Ashlan Hindle, a mum-of-one from the UK, explained that people say she should be ‘ashamed’ of her living situation.

She claimed that she works hard and has never had anything given to her
tiktok/@ashlan_hindle

Not only this, but she also claimed that nasty trolls assume she is on benefits and gets everything given to her, but in fact, she and her partner both have jobs.

Keen to set the record straight, the content creator took to social media to address the stigmas people have about council houses.

Ashlan, who lives in a stunning, modern-looking three-bed council house, which has a stylish white kitchen, large garden and spacious bedrooms, shared a short clip in response to a comment from a troll.

The rude remark read: ‘You should be ashamed.’

Eager to clap back to the hater, Ashlan said: “And this is the stigma that we’re dealing with – that we should be ashamed because we live in council housing.

“But you’ve got to ask yourself, that elderly couple down the road that’s been living in that house for the past 35 years, probably a council house.

“Are you quick to judge them? No. You’re quick to judge me because you automatically assume that I’m on benefits, that I have no aspirations in life, that everything I’ve got has been given to me.

“But that isn’t the case. We work hard, so what if it’s a council house?”

The woman, who previously shared that despite what people think, she pays taxes, is a clean person and isn’t a nuisance to her neighbours, then continued: “It’s a stable roof over our head.”

She claimed: “A certain percentage of every new build estate goes to council or housing associations, so a lot of the people living in these beautiful new build houses are council tenants, but you wouldn’t have any clue unless somebody told you.

“And the reason people don’t tell you is because of comments like this saying that we should be ashamed.

“Ashamed of what? I’ll never ever be ashamed of what we have.”

How can I get a council house?

To apply for a council home, you need to fill out and hand in an application to your local authority.

To find your local authority, simply use the Government’s council locator tool on its website.

Once you have access to your local council’s website, it should offer you guidelines on how to complete your application.

After applying, you’ll most likely have to join a waiting list.

Bear in mind, even if you are put on a waiting list, this doesn’t guarantee you a council house offer.

Your council should also offer you advice on how to stay in your current home and solve any issues you might have, such as problems with a private landlord or mortgage.

You are eligible to apply for council housing if you are a British citizen living in the UK providing have not lived abroad recently.

Each council has its own local rules about who qualifies to go on the housing register in its area, but it is based on “points” or a “banding” system.

For example, you’re likely to be offered housing first if you:

  • are homeless
  • live in cramped conditions
  • have a medical condition made worse by your current home
  • are seeking to escape domestic violence

Once you are high enough on a council’s waiting list, it will contact you when a property is available.

Some councils let people apply at the age of 18, while others let you apply even sooner at 16-year-olds.

EU workers and their families and refugees may also be eligible.

council house is reached through a points system, so depending on your housing needs, you may be considered low priority.

The council will contact you about any available property once you are high enough on the waiting list.

There is no limit on how long you can expect to be on the waiting list.

SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ashlan_hindle, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 71,300 views in just two days.

You honestly can’t win. The internet always has something to say

TikTok user

Social media users were clearly stunned by the troll’s comment and were keen to flock to the comments to share messages of love and support for Ashlan.

The reality of living in a council house

LEANNE Hall, Digital Writer at Fabulous, has discussed what it was like growing up in a council house, and why those living in such properties are often judged...

When I was a child I grew up in a council house, and was blissfully unaware of the discrimination that came with that, until I became an adult.
My younger years were spent running up and down the stairs of my flat, meeting with other friends who lived there and making the most of the communal garden.
But now, it seems no matter your circumstance, everyone has something to say about why you shouldn’t be there.
Living just outside of London like I did, rent prices are still high, and as my mum was at home raising three kids at the time, it wasn’t easy to find a job that fit around that.
People in council houses are often labelled as ‘scroungers’ or ‘lazy’ but it’s nothing of the sort.
Most families in council homes experience overcrowding, and let’s not even mention the horrendous amount of damp and mould that comes from living in old social housing that hasn’t had work done to them in 50 or so years.
It’s not ideal for many, but it does provide a secure home without the fear your rent will shoot up every single year, which I would argue is vital to children growing up on the poverty line.

One person said: “Why should you be ashamed? A house is a house.”

To this, Ashlan responded and wrote: “This!!!!”

Another added: “Well said.”

A third commented: “You honestly can’t win. The internet always has something to say. Your house is gorgeous by the way.”

Britain faces botched BBL crisis – mum Alice may be UK’s 1st victim but her death is tip of a grim iceberg, expert says

BRAZILIAN bum lifts are a crisis waiting to happen – tragic mum Alice Webb maybe the first UK victim but her death is the tip of a very grim iceberg, the Sun can reveal.

The mum-of-five, 33, was having the cosmetic treatment at a studio in Gloucester on Monday evening when it “went wrong” and she died in hospital the following day.

Police later confirmed two people had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over the horror.

In the past few years at least 28 Brits have died — seven in Turkey — after complications from BBL ops.

But there are plenty more who have undergone the procedure in Britain with disastrous consequences.

Plastic surgery campaign group Save Face said, in a report, 479 patients have complained to them about botched BBLs and hip dips – all undertaken by non-healthcare cowboy practitioners – since 2022.

Reported complications included infection, sepsis, abcess, necrosis, cellulitis, migration and nodules.

Have you been the victim of a botched Brazilian bum lift? Email ryan.merrifield@thesun.co.uk

A total of 98 percent of complainants were then treated by NHS services.

The main complaint hot spots are Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Essex and Doncaster.

Save Face first confirmed Alice’s death.

Bum lifts can be surgical, which involves a fat transfer – but what is becoming increasingly popular is non-surgical lifts, including using dermal fillers.

Bonnie-Louise Cooper was rushed to hospital while suffering hallucinations and a skyrocketing temperature after having filler injected into her bum in the UK.

Just 36 hours earlier the hair beautician from Swanage had spent £1,500 on a 30 minute ‘lunchtime liquid BBL’ before contracting sepsis.

She is lucky to have survived.

‘DEVASTATED’

Ashton Collins, the director of Save Face, told The Sun: “I am devastated to hear of Alice’s tragic passing.

“We launched a campaign in December 2023 calling upon the Government to take urgent action to ban these procedures.

“We made it absolutely clear, that without urgent intervention someone would die.”

He said news of Alice’s death makes him “incredibly sad and angry”, adding: “Our fear has been confirmed and a family has been shattered.”

Mr Collins went on to say, liquid BBL procedures – in which filler is injected into the bum – are a “crisis waiting to happen”.

“They are advertised on social media as ‘risk-free’, ‘cheaper’ alternatives to the surgical counterpart and that could not be further from the truth.

What are Brazilian Bum Lifts and why are they so popular?

Buttock enlargement surgery – known as a Brazilian bum-lift (BBL) – is used to make the bum look bigger, rounded and lifted.

Surgeons transfer fat, inject filler or insert silicone-filled implants.

It is the fastest growing cosmetic procedure but also one of the most dangerous, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

Many patients are travelling to the likes of Turkey or seeking out unregistered surgeons in the UK and are not given full information on the risks.

BBLs carry the highest risk of all cosmetic surgeries – with more than one death occurring per 4,000 procedures.

Due to celebrities undergoing such ops, many women are hoping to emulate their looks.

Consultant clinical psychologist Dr Anu Sayal-Bennett, a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, told the BBC: “Despite there being so much about body positivity, there are pressures for women – and men too – to look a certain way.”

Many people travel abroad for the procedure because it is cheaper and advertising is “terribly seductive”, combined with the idea of a beach holiday, added Dr Sayal-Bennett.

“We have supported over 500 women who have suffered complications because of these treatments, many of which have nearly died.

“Over 50% of the cases reported to us contracted sepsis and 39% needed corrective surgery.”

Mr Collins said all the procedures reported to the group were carried out by “non-healthcare practitioners” and are “incredibly dangerous” practices in “unsterile” environments.

“They were unable to identify and manage the complications they inflicted upon their clients, often misdiagnosing abscesses, and tissue necrosis as bruising.

“I am flabbergasted and appalled by the unscrupulous nature of the people who are still offering these treatments even though they know some of their patients have been hospitalised and will no doubt continue to do so after hearing this awful news.”

He added that it is “outrageous” for unqualified people feel it is appropriate to offer treatments that “surgeons will not perform because they are too dangerous”.

“We will not stop campaigning until these procedures are banned and those who cause harm to people are held criminally accountable.”

ALICE’S FINAL HOURS

The night before Alice’s op, the mum posted a photo on Facebook of a small pumpkin – a pre-surgery “present” from her daughter.

The following evening, officers rushed to the studio – in a residential address – at around 11.30pm after the alarm was raised with ambulances already at the scene.

Alice was taken to the Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary but died shortly after in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Her devastated partner Dane Knight, 38, posted a tribute online saying: “Want to say a heartfelt thank you to all family and friends that were here for us at our time of need, including all of the kind messages sent to my children and myself.

“There was some very beautiful messages sent by some of your children that formed a start of a smile from the corner of my kids mouth.”

Alice, who has five daughters aged between seven and 15, was also involved in the beauty treatment industry as an advanced aesthetic practitioner.

Brits who have died from getting Brazilian bum lifts abroad

Multiple Brits have died after undergoing Brazilian Bum Lifts abroad.

Here are those previously highlighted in The Sun:

Demi Agoglia, 26, passed away days after returning home to Manchester after undergoing the procedure in Turkey.

Family members said she returned to the clinic following the procedure in Istanbul for a check-up but then fell ill.

She was rushed into intensive care but doctors were unable to save her and she was pronounced dead on January 8 this year.

Kaydell Brown, 38, had paid £5,400 for BBL procedure as well as a tummy tuck and a boob job hoping she would change her life.

But the Sheffield mum-of-two tragically died in the recovery room due to complications in her surgery in Istanbul, Turkey.

Leah Cambridge, from Leeds, West Yorks, collapsed shortly after her £3,000 BBL at a Turkish clinic loved by Towie stars, including Lauren Goodger.

The 29-year-old is said to have arranged the surgery through a firm which acts as a go-between linking clients and surgeons.

Wakefield Coroner’s Court was told how she travelled to Izmir in August last year to have the “butt lift”, but died following complications in the procedure.

Melissa Kerr, 31, travelled from Norfolk to Istanbul to undergo a £3,200 procedure at Medicana Kadikoy hospital.

Melissa was killed when the injected fat entered a vein and blocked her pulmonary artery causing an embolism.

The young Brit was only given “limited information regarding the risks and mortality rate” associated with the op, her inquest heard.

Abimbola Ajoke Bamgbose, a 38-year-old social worker from Dartford, Kent, died in August 2020 after buying a £5,000 overseas package deal with Mono Cosmetic Surgery.

Her husband Moyosore Olowo told an inquest hearing that his wife underwent liposuction and a butt lift because she was fed up with people asking if she was pregnant.
