Swingers to descend on UK city for Robin Hood-themed treasure hunt – before wild naked party

SWINGERS will descend on Nottingham for a raunchy Robin Hood-themed treasure hunt before a wild naked party in the woods.

The legendary outlaw’s hometown is at risk of being besmirched by The Great Throbbing Hood Hunt followed by the steamy celebration in Sherwood Forest.

Attendees are encouraged to wear attire inspired by the dashing bowman, who stole from the rich to give to the poor, all while wearing tights and a feathered bycocket hat.

After the swingers have tired themselves out among the trees they’ll head into the city itself for a night at The Purple Mamba Club.

The event is scheduled for October 5, from 4pm, with early bird tickets priced at £40 – while couples can secure a spot for £10 and singletons £5, according to What’s The Jam.

The evening party begins at 9pm at the members only swingers venue.

TEAM UP

The club announced: “Join forces with other members to hunt for clues to discover Throbbing Hood’s secret treasure across Nottingham from 4pm.

“Which teams will win? Race across Nottingham to solve clues before re-grouping for a lively social from 7pm followed by a memorable club night from 9pm.”

It adds: “A great fun social followed by a club night with live music from the amazing Pancake Boy and Misshapen.”

It comes after swingers revealed what really goes on at such events.

Group sex nights are springing up all over the UK – proving Brits aren’t quite as strait-laced as people may think.

Swingers made headlines after Somerset villagers complained about a members-only group called Exclusively Silks hosting “intimate parties” at a local hotel.

They described people “spilling out into the gardens and pool” at night and causing a noise nuisance.

Clubs hosting intimate sex parties exist all over Britain, from Dunstable to Doncaster, from Bedford to Bournemouth.

One online directory of swingers’ clubs lists more than 90 in the UK.

Thousands of SWINGERS descend on sleepy village for UK’s biggest sex festival

By Karim Camara

THOUSANDS of swingers descended on a sleepy village for Britain’s biggest sex festival earlier this summer.

The four-day sex and fetish event – called Swingathon – kicked off on July 18 in the quaint hamlet of Allington, near Grantham, Lincs.

Irate residents complained to police about “screaming and moaning” coming from the countryside site and keeping them up at night in previous years.

And this year’s X-rated festival was Swingathon’s biggest yet, featuring “play tents”, pole dancing, hot tubs, foam parties, mobile dungeons – and butt-plug bingo.

Kinky guests forked out £265 a ticket and numbers doubled from 500 to 1,000 in the last year, with organisers promising it would be “bigger, bolder, better”.

The event incorporated another raunchy festival aimed at people with fetishes called FetFest.

Fetfest featured BDSM and sex toy stalls, “bookable private play areas” as well as a whip-throwing area “to get some practice in.”

Other entertainment included a Naked Attraction-style competition, drag and burlesque acts as well as sensual massages.

Alejandro Garnacho’s brother gives clear reason to back Erik ten Hag and slams Man Utd flops

ALEJANDRO GARNACHO’S brother has backed Erik ten Hag and pointed to the real reason behind Manchester United’s failures.

The Red Devils have drawn their last two games, including being held at home in the Europa League to FC Twente.

Alejandro Garnacho’s brother came out in defence of Ten Hag[/caption]

United have just two wins from five Premier League games and are 11th in the table, sparking criticism of Ten Hag.

But Garnacho’s brother Roberto has launched a defence of the Dutchman, arguing the players should be able to beat a side like Twente regardless of the manager.

He also highlighted poor finishing against Palace as the reason why United failed to win, and pointed to an individual mistake which led to Twente’s goal.

Roberto wrote on X: “Btw you all blame Ten Hag, but 11 United players not being able to smash them at home, I don’t think that’s on Ten Hag mate.

“We literally dominated the whole game, we couldn’t score more than a goal, individual mistake makes them score, what’s he supposed to do?

“They were not even getting into our box, if we are not able to score more than a goal against Twente, it is not on him (their goal was a mistake from one of our players too).

“Same last game btw, dominated but couldn’t score a goal, somehow last week it was the wingers’ fault, this one Ten Hag’s.

“If last game we would have gone 2-0 at half-time and won (attackers’ fault because they couldn’t score their chances) you all would say he is being perfect, same today.”

Man Utd player ratings vs FC Twente

MANCHESTER UNITED'S Europa League campaign got off to a less than ideal start with a miserable 1-1 draw against FC Twente at Old Trafford.

That result dealt a big blow to their chances of finishing in the top eight and avoiding two extra fixtures.

See how the players rated on an underwhelming night at Old Trafford.

Andre Onana – 6

Good save to push a free-kick from Sem Steijn to safety but might be disappointed to be beaten at the near post for Twente’s goal.

Diogo Dalot – 6

Early mistake near the corner flag could have been costly but he caused problems at the other end in build up to Christian Eriksen goal.

Harry Maguire – 6

Missed his tackle to put United on the back foot for the equaliser but almost won it late on with a header cleared off the line.

Lisandro Martinez – 7

Made several important clearances but one wild challenge on edge of his box could have proven costly.

Noussair Mazraoui – 6

New boy looks solid. Vital early tackle and another one later to stop Twente going in front.

Christian Eriksen – 7

Fourth successive start – and the veteran still looked sprightly. What a strike to give United the lead but then spoiled it with mistake for equaliser.

Manuel Ugarte – 6

A few good tackles from the new boy but might be disappointed not to clear his lines as Twente broke away for equaliser.

Marcus Rashford – 8

Much improved display in front of watching England interim boss Lee Carsley. Full of energy, a few tricks and a couple of dangerous crosses. More like his old self.

Bruno Fernandes – 6

Skipper had a hand in the opening goal and was so close to winning it with curler from the edge of the box.

Amad Diallo – 6

His pace was too much to handle for the visitors at times but not much of an end product this time and made way for Alejandro Garnacho midway through the second half.

Joshua Zirkzee – 5

A few good moments and forced a flying save from the visitors’ keeper after nice link up with Diogo Dalot – but then hooked for the fit-again Rasmus Hojlund.

Garnacho was brought on as a substitute against Twente shortly before they scored, and pundit Ruud Gullit believes he did not want to listen to the final instructions Ten Hag dished out.

Gullit said: “Ten Hag wanted to have a meeting with Garnacho, but he didn’t feel like it at all.

“Garnacho was preparing to come on and Ten Hag kept talking to him.

“You can just see it when a player thinks: ‘Dude, leave me alone, man!’”

Why Anthony Joshua having an immediate rematch against Daniel Dubois is ‘the end of his career’ after brutal KO loss

AN immediate rematch with Daniel Dubois would mark the end of Anthony Joshua’s career, claims Carl Froch.

The former super-middleweight champion, 47, watched as Joshua was beaten by Dubois via a brutal fifth-round knockout at Wembley Stadium last Saturday.

Carl Froch has had his say on Joshua’s future[/caption]

Since his defeat, defiant AJ has revealed that he will not retire.

He then met with promoter Eddie Hearn and Saudi Arabia boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh to discuss his future.

Hearn, 45, went on to reveal that Joshua is set to rematch Dubois, with Alalshikh keen for the fight to happen.

Froch, however, believes that this would be a bad move for Joshua’s future prospects.

Speaking on his Froch on Fighting YouTube channel, he said: “There’s talks now of an immediate rematch with Daniel Dubois. I think Eddie Hearn’s keen to chuck him straight back in there, because obviously Anthony Joshua is Eddie’s big cash cow, let’s be honest.

“He’s back in the driving seat if AJ can rectify that run. But for me, I think that’s a bad fight.

“An immediate rematch, Daniel Dubois is licking his lips, saying ‘I wasn’t happy with my performance, I think I can finish Anthony Joshua even earlier’.

“And he will come confident. First fight he went in he wasn’t sure if he belonged there. He’d been elevated to IBF champion after beating (Filip) Hrgovic, so does he belong at world level? Now he knows he belongs at world level, he knows what he can do to Anthony Joshua when he clips him on the chin.

“An immediate rematch, for me, is the end of Anthony Joshua’s career, and I don’t think that should be happening.”

On what he would advise Joshua to do, Froch added: “Then you’ve got to look down the ladder and see who’s next.

“You’ve got (Martin) Bakole, you’ve got Zhilei Zhang, pig puncher – you’ve got Joseph Parker who’s on a bit of a crest of a wave after his Deontay Wilder win.

“They’re three fights there, those opponents would be going against Anthony Joshua really sticking it on him – and if he loses to one of them that’s definitely the end of him – even more so than if he gets flattened again by Dubois.”

Froch then went on to mention Dillian Whyte as another possibility, before raising a different option altogether.

“Maybe the smart move is to sit back and wait, and not fight, see how the landscape changes, see what happens with Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.”

Froch claimed that if the Gypsy King were to lose to Usyk again when they rematch on December 21, that he could be the opponent for Joshua.

He added that the bout would surely provide another big Wembley pay day, before AJ could “sail off into the sunset”.

Round by round: How Dubois demolished Joshua

ANTHONY JOSHUA bravely picked himself up from the floor against Daniel Dubois – until he could no more.

AJ was floored four times in five rounds by Dubois before a thudding counter right closed the show in dramatic fashion.

Here, SunSport’s Jack Figg takes you round-by-round from the Wembley war.

ROUND 1

Dubois comes out sharp with the jab as Joshua bounces around struggling to deal with the piston-like left.

Huge right hand from Dubois has AJ staggering backwards with his hands far too low from the opening bell.

Joshua made to pay for the mistake as he circles out with his hands down and gets dropped by an overhand right.

ROUND 2

Joshua – saved only by the bell after being floored – struggles to get going as he takes shots to the face.

AJ is tottering and teetering around the ring with his guard again dangerously low and inviting pressure on.

Joshua is attempting to get back into the bout but his jab looks far too lazy – he doesn’t look to have recovered from the knockdown.

ROUND 3

AJ comes out with more intent but swings wildly with a right and connects with only thin air.

Dubois pours on the pressure and hammers Joshua into the corner scoring another knockdown.

The bell sounds but Dubois lands one or two afterwards – again AJ is saved by the clock as the writing looks on the wall.

ROUND 4

Disaster strikes again with Joshua floored once more – losing his balance as he touches the canvas.

The referee gives AJ another fighting chance and Dubois lands a low blow – giving the challenger some valuable respite.

Dubois slows down as four rounds come to a close with Joshua showing sensational resilience to hang in there.

ROUND 5

Joshua lands a huge right hand and Dubois legs buckle – an astonishing turnaround looks to be on the cards.

AJ pins Dubois onto the ropes and attempts one of his signature uppercuts but the countering right hand gets there first.

Joshua is caught flush on the chin, dropped once more and this time out for good. Dubois scores a stunning KO win.

Urgent ‘tripledemic’ health alert issued to all parents as cases of killer viruses surge putting lives ‘at risk’

AN URGENT ‘tripledemic’ health alert has been issued over three killer viruses.

Parents have been warned to protect their kids against surging cases of whooping cough and measles.

Parents have been urged to top up their kids’ vaccinations amid waning uptake and surging cases of whooping cough and measles[/caption] a graph showing confirmed whooping cough cases in england

It comes shortly after Brits were urged to take up a newly-rolled out jab that offers high protection against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a common cause of coughs and colds that can lead to killer lung infections in some.

Whooping cough, also known as pertussis, is a super-contagious infection of the lungs as breathing tubes that can linger for weeks or months and cause serious complications such as pneumonia.

As babies have an especially high risk of severe illness, the pertussis vaccine is offered to all pregnant women between 16 and 32 weeks along to protect their babies.

But most recent figures suggest uptake is around just 60 per cent.

There have been nine reported deaths of infants from whooping cough in England since November last year, while the latest figures from the UK Health Security Agency show 12,200 confirmed cases between January and July 2024.

Health officials warned of a potential surge in infections once the school year got going.

Data also shows World Health Organisation targets of 95 per cent vaccination for under-fives are being missed in England.

This includes the six-in-one jab which protects against whooping cough, polio and tetanus, as well as the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine.

Since January, there have been 2,465 confirmed measles cases reported in England, which is very contagious and can causes serious complications such as swelling in the brain.

It emerged earlier this month that a child had died from the disease in the first quarter of the year, leading health chiefs to plead with parents to make sure their children are given the MMR jab.

The MMR jab protects against measles, mumps and rubella. It’s offered to children when they’re one and then against when they’re aged three years and four months.

The latest annual data on vaccinations published by NHS England shows that 16.1 per cent of children who turned five between April 2023 and March 2024 had not received both doses of the MMR vaccine.

This is the lowest level of uptake documented since 2010-11, although 91.9 per cent of five-year-olds had been given at least one dose.

The figures also show one in nine children (11.1 per cent) who had their second birthday in 2023-24 did not get the first dose of the MMR vaccine.

Meanwhile, one in 12 babies (8.8 per cent) had not received all three doses of the six-in-one vaccine.

Vaccine ‘umbrellas’

Amid fears around rising cases of whooping cough, measles and RSV, experts launched a campaign to boost jab uptake in the UK.

Researchers at the Oxford Vaccine Group – part of the University of Oxford – have developed an animation high the “critical role” whooping cough jabs play in protecting against infection.

The campaign created by the Vaccine Knowledge Project team at the Oxford Vaccine Group aims to educate and inform the public about how vaccines protect entire communities – including vulnerable newborns and older adults – as well as individuals.

The Vaccine Knowledge Project was formed by leading paediatrician and vaccine scientist Professor Sir Andrew Pollard, also director of the Oxford Vaccine Group.

Sir Andrew said: “The recent outbreaks of measles and whooping cough all across the UK, which have arisen because of falling vaccination rates, threaten the lives of the vulnerable, especially young children.

Expert answers MMR questions

TO help deal with parental concerns, Professor Helen Bedford, a specialist in child public health at University College London, tells you all you need to know about the MMR vaccine.

When is the vaccine given?

The MMR vaccine is part of the NHS Routine Childhood Immunisation Programme.

It’s typically given via a single shot into the muscle of the thigh or the upper arm.

The first dose is offered to children at the age of one (babies younger than this may have some protection from antibodies passed on from their mother, which start to wear off at about 12 months.)

The second dose is then offered to children aged three years and four months before they start school.

To check to see if you or your child have had the recommended two doses of MMR, you can look at their/your Personal Child Health Record, also known as the red book.

If you can’t find the red book, call your GP and ask them for your vaccine records.

You are never too old to catch up with your MMR vaccine.

If you see from your vaccination records that you did not receive two doses as a child, you can book a vaccination appointment.

Is the vaccine safe?

The MMR vaccine is safe and effective at preventing measles, mumps and rubella.

In the UK, we started using the jab in 1988, so we have decades of experience using it.

The jab is made from much-weakened live versions of the three viruses.

This triggers the immune system to produce antibodies that are protective in the face of future exposure.

It takes up to three weeks after having the vaccine to be fully protected.

Like any vaccine, the MMR jab can cause side-effects, which are usually mild and go away very quickly.

This includes rash, high temperature, loss of appetite and a general feeling of being unwell for about two or three days.

There is also a very small chance children can have a severe allergic reaction.

But compared to the complications of measles, there is no contest that vaccination is by far the safest and most effective route to take.

Why was it linked with autism?

In 1998, Andrew Wakefield and his colleagues published a now-discredited paper in medical journal The Lancet.

The paper suggested that the MMR vaccine might be associated with autism and a form of bowel disease.

It led to a sharp decline in vaccination rates.

Even at the time, the research was considered poor.

The Lancet retracted the story in 2010 after Wakefield’s article was found “dishonest” by the General Medical Council.

He was later struck off and subsequently, in 2011, the British Medical Journal declared the story fraudulent.

Does it contain ingredients from pigs?

There are two types of MMR jabs: One with gelatin (animal/pig collagen), and one without it.

For some religious groups, the inclusion of pig products is not acceptable.

Those people should ask for the vaccine without gelatin.

“Vaccines are the umbrellas that keep the rain away from all those who shelter beneath them.

“If we are to stay dry, we must put the umbrellas back up.

“Make sure that every child is immunised today.”

The new resources showcased by the Vaccine Knowledge Project come in a short animation and a graphic booklet.

Charlie Firth, vaccine knowledge and public engagement manager at the Oxford Vaccine Group, said: “We have recently seen drops in vaccination levels for various diseases.

“Whether that be drops in whooping cough vaccines in pregnant people leading to deaths in babies or an increase in cases of measles.

“There has been a range of reasons for this drop in vaccination, ranging from vaccine hesitancy, inequities in access to services, and complacency.

“Many of the diseases we are trying to protect against have not been seen in a long time, and so the perception within the general public of the importance of vaccination seems to have dropped.”

He said as rates of certain diseases increase, the most vulnerable in society suffer, including babies who are too young to be vaccinated or people with certain health issues that mean they cannot be immunised.

Mr Firth said: “These are the people that rely on herd immunity, or sometimes called community immunity.

“This is when a high percentage of our population is vaccinated, it becomes difficult for infectious diseases to spread because there are not many people who can be infected.

“So the people who cannot be vaccinated themselves are still afforded some protection.

“But when these levels of population vaccination drop, the community protection given to these vulnerable individuals disappears and they quickly face a higher risk of disease.

“We want to emphasise the message that vaccines only work for the vulnerable if we all use them.

“By getting vaccinated, you are protecting yourself, but you are also protecting your friends, you are protecting your family, and you are protecting the most vulnerable in our community who cannot get vaccinated themselves.”

The NHS rolled out vaccines offering protection against the RSV for the first time in September.

The jab is available to adults aged 75 to 79, as pregnant women from 28 weeks, to protect their child from the virus.

Meanwhile, bookings for flu and Covid vaccines for eligible Brits also opened this week – with the jabs set to be administered from October 3.

Trump to meet Zelensky for frosty talks that could decide fate of war after Don shared private message from Ukraine prez

TRUMP and Zelensky will sit down in a meeting on Friday that could decide the fate of Ukraine – despite their ongoing frosty feud and Trump even posting a private message.

The pair haven’t had a meeting since 2019 as Zelensky continues to pressure US politicians for American aid against Russia‘s invasion.

Trump shared the message Zelensky sent to him on Truth Social[/caption]

Trump said in a news conference that he plans to meet with Zelensky at the Trump Tower – a mere few days after he criticised the Ukrainian leader for refusing to “make a deal” with Moscow.

Trump has frequently said with confidence that Russia “would have never attacked Ukraine” if he were president.

He has also not been shy in praising mad Russian leader Vladimir Putin, having previously called him a “genius” and “savvy”.

Reports previously said the meeting wouldn’t go ahead after Trump showed offence to Zelensky’s comments that the running Republican “doesn’t really know how to stop the war”.

Now the ex-president has revealed a personal plea Zelensky sent him asking for a meeting – posting a screenshot to his Truth Social account.

In Zelensky’s message, the leader says: “Days ago, we requested a meeting with you, and I really want to hear your thoughts directly, and first hand.

“You know I always speak with great respect about everything connected to you, and that’s how it should be.

“I believe it’s important for us to have personal contact and to understand each other 100 per cent.

“I would really like for our meeting to take place, as part of our efforts to help us end this war in a just way.”

Trump posting the private conversation aligns with the heightened tensions between him and the Ukrainian leader.

The presidential election has a huge impact on the war in Ukraine which is now in its third year.

The Republican hinted at other campaign stops this week that the US had been too generous to Ukraine and made claims that Zelensky supports his Democratic opponents.

Trump has also maintained his scepticism of the US’s involvement in the war – heavily contrasting President Joe Biden and Democratic running candidate Kamala Harris – who continue to push for US aid.

Trump and Zelensky have had a consistently turbulent relationship, with Trump getting impeached in 2019 over accusations that he pressured the Ukrainian leader to dig up dirt on the Biden family.

A rough transcript of the call revealed Trump had urged Zelensky to investigate Biden – and Biden’s son.

The rare meeting comes two months after the pair had a phone call and Zelensky emphasised in a statement the importance of US support for Ukraine.

He said: “Ukraine will always be grateful to the United States for its help in strengthening our ability to resist Russian terror.

The war has devastated Ukraine[/caption]

“Russian attacks on our cities and villages continue every day. We agreed with President Trump to discuss at a personal meeting what steps can make peace fair and truly lasting.”

Trump said afterwards confidently that he would “end the war” and that both sides would “negotiate a deal that ends the violence.”

Zelensky is in the US this week participating in the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Ukrainian leader presented a “victory” plan to Biden and Harris at the White House on Thursday, with Biden announcing a new military aid package worth nearly a whopping $8 billion for Kyiv.

But Zelensky was unsuccessful in earlier talks where he tried to secure permission to use Western missiles to strike deep into Russia.

Putin warned that attacks on Russia by western-backed missiles could trigger a devastating nuclear response.

The White House fear the threat of supplying the missiles, with an intelligence assessment describing various responses Russia would take.

These could include acts of arson and sabotage or deadly attacks on Western military bases, The New York Times reports.
