Watch Ukraine ‘Achilles’ troops wipe out 80% of Putin’s armour in drone storm stopping vast Russian blitz in its tracks

THIS is the dramatic moment Ukraine’s “Achilles” troops wiped out a whopping 80 per cent of Putin’s armour in another major war blow to Russia.

Incredible footage shows a series of flawless attacks on multiple tankers as the drone storm stopped the vast Russian blitz in Pischany district, Lviv Oblast region.

Ukraine’s “Achilles” troops are specialised drone warfare units within the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, playing a pivotal role in Ukraine’s ongoing defence against Russian forces.

These troops have gained recognition for their expertise in using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in combat, particularly in repelling Russian assaults and destroying enemy equipment.

The battalion operates highly effective UAVs, such as the “Vampire” drones, which have been instrumental in targeting Russian positions and equipment, particularly in nighttime operations.

On Thursday, the “Achilles” battalion successfully repelled a Russian mechanised assault.

The Russian force, consisting of around 50 armoured vehicles, attempted to advance toward Kolesnikivka and Kruglyakivka, but Ukrainian forces decisively countered the attack.

A clip shared on Telegram and X, formerly Twitter, showed the Russian tankers advancing into the battlefield, before they are hit with pinpoint precision.

Huge fireballs and flames engulfed Putin’s military vehicles, now reduced to ashes thanks to the prowess of Ukrainian forces.

The “Achilles battalion” reportedly managed to destroy or damage 40 units of Russian military equipment, the social media posts said.

Out of these, 14 units were completely destroyed, including five BMPs (infantry fighting vehicles), three tanks, one armoured personnel carrier, one MTLB (light multi-purpose armoured vehicle), two Ural trucks, one “Loaf” vehicle, and an ATV.

Some 26 Russian units were reportedly damaged, including 10 tanks, 10 BMPs, one BREM (armored recovery vehicle), three MTLBs and one Ural truck.

It comes after Ukrainian troops took on Putin’s soldiers in a frontline town in true Call of Duty style.

Incredible footage showed the relentless battle on the streets of Toretsk, in the war-torn Donetsk region.

The two-minute video shared on X shows Ukrainian units of the Lyut Assault Brigade at work as they wipe out enemy troops.

Just like in video games, a red frame would flash at every moment one of Mad Vlad‘s men – who would have a Russian flag indicating their position – was hit.

A pair of dark wings would then be added to the flag once the enemy was wiped out.

The action-packed clip begins with Kyiv‘s brave men heading to the battleground in a truck before they unload the vehicle and head off to fight.

A series of POV scenes unfolds showing the flawless battle tactics on the ravaged streets of Toretsk as blasts can be seen and heard in the background.

Located close to the frontlines of the war in eastern Ukraine, Toretsk has been heavily affected by the war.

The town has experienced frequent shelling, damage to infrastructure, and significant civilian casualties due to its proximity to the conflict.

The dramatic clash came after apocalyptic explosions tore apart two massive Russian missile and ammunition storage depots in the early hours of Saturday.

Doctors battle to remove pint-sized GLASS JAR from man’s bum as they feared it would shatter and kill him

DOCTORS battled to remove a pint-sized glass jar stuck inside a man’s bum in a tricky procedure that could have killed him if it shattered.

The unnamed man from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, reportedly stuck a 0.5-litre mason jar inside his rectum that he couldn’t get out.

Medics were tasked with performing the emergency procedure and worked hard to stop the container from breaking into pieces.

They took care not to let the glass jar shatter into pointy shards during the complex surgery.

If the glass did shatter, fragments could have cut up the man’s insides and proved fatal.

The operation proved successful – and doctors managed to recover the complete jar, as well as a condom and lubricant from his rectum.

X-ray images from the hospital show how high up the glass container was placed inside the man’s anus – travelling up to his rectum.

Hospital spokesperson Alexey Nikonov told local media: “Remember that doctors are not the morality police.

“Stuck sex toys are often encountered in the practice of proctologists.”

Despite Russia’s strict anti-LGBT laws, he added that locals should not hesitate to seek help from doctors should they find themselves in similar situations.

It comes after a man was left in agony after he stuffed an eel up his bum once the sharp-toothed sea creature started to gnaw its way out of his digestive tract.

Disturbed medics in Vietnam discovered the 26-inch long eel in X-ray scans taken to diagnose the cause of his pain on July 27, according to local media.

They found the eel had attempted to chew its way to freedom by biting through the wall of his large intestine.

Initial attempts to remove the snake-like fish with a probe through his anus were thwarted when medics at Viet Duc Hospital, in Hanoi, found a lemon stuffed up there too.

Surgeons were forced to cut through his abdomen to remove the eel with forceps.

Meanwhile, a woman in India was impaled by a 2ft long rusty metal pole sticking out of the ground, after slipping and falling in a field.

Eye-popping scans reveal how the rod pierced through her backside into her abdomen after she fell on it bum-first.

Miraculously, the rusty, manure-coated pole didn’t pierce any major organs and the 65-year-old woman lived to tell her tale after undergoing emergency surgery to have it removed.

But she still needed a tetanus shot and antibiotics to stave off an infection.

Doctors in Manipal said this rare case of impalement through the bottom was rendered even rarer by the fact that it left no severe, lasting damage.
