ANTHONY JOSHUA has been suspended from boxing for 28 days following his knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois.
The two-time world heavyweight champion, 34, was destroyed by his British rival in front of a record crowd at Wembley last weekend.
AJ was dropped three times before the decisive punch in the fifth round saw him hit the canvas and fifth round.
Now he has been handed a standard 28-day suspension by the British Boxing Board of Control.
This is always dished out to British fighters when they suffer a stoppage loss.
But the suspension will not impact Joshua as he has no plans to fight before October 19.

COPS have launched an urgent probe after three women were hospitalised following âshots being fired from a carâ.
Emergency services raced three women to hospital after the horror unfolded on Frederick Street, in Wolverhampton, at around 11pm yesterday.
West Midlands Police confirmed one victim still remains in hospital.
She is in a stable condition, while the other two women have since been discharged.
Officers are now trawling through hours of CCTV amid their manhunt.
They have launched an urgent appeal for any information regarding the suspected shooter.
A spokesperson for the force said: âAn investigation has been launched after three people were injured in Wolverhampton yesterday (27 Sept).
âWe received reports of shots being fired from a car on Frederick Street at around 11pm.
âThree women were taken to hospital. Two women have since been discharged. A third woman remains in hospital in a stable condition.
âWe are carrying out a CCTV trawl- and other enquiries â to identify those involved.
âWeâre working to establish why this happened and weâd ask anyone with information to speak to us.
âSuch violence is unacceptable and wonât be tolerated.
âWe will have an increased presence in the area to reassure the local community.
