Meghan Markle ‘screamed down phone’ at florist who ‘vowed to never work with her again’, claim ex-royal staff

MEGHAN Markle allegedly “screamed down the phone” at a florist who vowed to never work with her again, ex-royal staff claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, was said to have yelled for 30 minutes at the person who sells and arranges cut flowers.

They reportedly posted details online about a bouquet they were working on for Meghan.

However the florist apparently never actually identified that the Duchess was their client.

An unnamed source told The Sunday Times: “They vowed never to work with her again, despite the prestige of having her as a client.

“If you were working for her, you were often treated like a tradesman who could be treated like s***.”

It comes after Meghan was hit by a fresh wave of allegations from former employees and was branded a “demon” boss who had “psycho moments”.

Earlier this week a former courtier who worked for the Sussexes claimed during their time with the duchess “there definitely were bad, very bad, even psycho moments.”

The unnamed source is quoted as saying: “I witnessed people being chewed up in person and over the phone and made to feel like s**t”, as reported by The Daily Beast website.

It comes at an incredibly awkward time as Meghan is about to launch a cookery show and cook book to go alongside her new lifestyle brand, named American Riviera Orchard.

The former employee who spoke to The Daily Beast dismissed the Us Weekly article as a cynical exercise saying: “She is lovely when it is all going her way but a demon when the worm turns.”

It follows a recent story in another US publication, The Hollywood Reporter, that described Meghan’s management style as like a “dictator in high heels” who reduced “grown men to tears”.

There were also claims that she “barks” out orders and sends angry emails at 5am.

An insider told The Sun: “The Sussexes were left reeling by The Hollywood Reporter’s story.

“It appears that the Us Weekly story was sanctioned by the couple as even Archewell’s current global head of communications, Ashley Hansen, was quoted by name.”

Meghan’s team were already trying to dismiss those earlier allegations — said to be gleaned from a number of current and former staff.

Five current and former employees of Meghan went on the record to defend her, saying she is the “best boss ever”.

Us Weekly, a magazine known to be friendly to the royal couple, went in to bat for them with an article headlined “What It’s Really Like To Work For Meghan Markle: Staffers Reveal Truth Behind Rumours”.

The article was widely dismissed as a puff piece, with speculation it was potentially orchestrated by Meghan’s PR team.

Speculation was sparked in August when the Sussexes Chief of Staff Josh Kettler joined a long list of staff who left the couple.

In July, Prince Harry’s charity chief Dominic Reid quit his role as chief executive of the Invictus Games Foundation.

His departure came just days after Harry was blasted for choosing to accept the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2024 ESPYS.

Meanwhile Bennett Levine, their manager of Archewell Productions, left earlier this year.

And the Oscar-nominated producer Ben Browning quit as head of internal content at the company in January last year.

The Sun has approached the Sussexes for comment.

Sussex staff resignations

By Robert Jobson

AN astonishing 18 members of staff have quit working for them in just a few years — nine since they moved to Montecito, California.

In late 2018, Meghan’s personal assistant Melissa Toubati quit.

It also emerged senior communications secretary Katrina McKeever left the Press team the same month.

Not long after, private secretary Samantha Cohen resigned.

In January 2019 Meghan’s female bodyguard of six months, who has never been named for security reasons, also quit.

By March, senior communications secretary Jason Knauf jumped ship and went to work for Prince William and Kate’s Royal Foundation.

Meghan also went through three nannies in just six weeks after baby son Archie was born in May 2019.

Harry and Meghan’s PR chief Sarah Latham left the couple after they quit the UK in 2020.

Meghan parted ways with talent agent Nick Collins, of The Gersh Agency, who was with her since she was a struggling actress.

And her close friend Keleigh Thomas-Morgan, a partner at Hollywood PR firm Sunshine Sachs, split from Meghan after the couple moved to the US.

The Sussexes recruited Toya Holness, former communications chief for New York City Department of Education, but she lasted 18 months and left shortly after the Invictus Games in 2022.

Just a year after their Megxit dash, Catherine St-Laurent was ousted as chief executive of their charitable foundation Archewell.

Meanwhile, Mandana Dayani, who was made president of Archewell, stepped down after less than 18 months in her role.

Oscar-nominated film producer Ben Browning was named head of content at Archewell in March 2021.

The foundation was supposed to be producing documentaries and podcasts.

But podcast Archetypes was dropped by Spotify and he left in January 2023.

Two months earlier, Rebecca Sanares left her role as head of audio at Archewell.

Watch incredible moment blind Strictly star Chris McCausland gets standing ovation for performance

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Chris McCausland received a standing ovation from the audience for his foxtrot on tonight’s show.

In moving scenes Chris, the show’s first blind contestant, listened to the crowd go wild and landed a score of 29 after gliding across the dancefloor and performing bench work with his partner Dianne Buswell.

Clearly very impressed, head judge Shirley Ballas praised him as “an example to every celebrity upstairs when it comes to footwork”.

Fellow judge Motsi Mabuse said the slow foxtrot is one of the most difficult dances but she felt he made it look “so easy” while Anton Du Beke said “you are just wonderful”.

Chris joked with Craig Revel Horwood that he had to think of an original comment which was not about his frame, to which the judge countered by critiquing his finger positioning but said he “loved” his spirit in the dance and musicality.

Earlier in the show Chris also poked fun at Revel Horwood following some of his critiques to other contestants, joking: “By the sounds of the way things are going, I think Craig’s blinder than I am.”

Prior to taking part in the show, Chris admitted that he did have his doubts about doing it.

In a piece for The Telegraph, the star confessed that his lack of vision caused him to be “terrified” about the programme.

Writing for the publication, Chris said: “Have I mentioned that I was terrified?

“I mean, how can I possibly have confidence in my ability to do something when I can’t see the entirely visual thing that I’m being asked to do?

“On top of that, stick it on live TV where failures are there for everybody to see and where the chance of a generous edit is absolute zero, and what could possibly go wrong?”

Inside NFL stars custom $100,000-plus custom Cybertruck’s which glow in the dark and even have Elon Musk impressed

THEY are the most sought-after cars in the US, with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga owning one.

So it’s no surprise that some of the biggest players in the NFL own cybertrucks – that come with a starting price of $100,000.

(FILES) Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk introduces the newly unveiled all-electric battery-powered Tesla Cybertruck at Tesla Design Center in Hawthorne, California on November 21, 2019. US automaker Tesla on July 15, 2023, announced that its first electric pickup -- a slick-looking silver Cybertruck -- had rolled off the assembly line at its huge plant near Austin, Texas. "First Cybertruck built at Giga Texas!" says a tweet from the company, accompanied by a photo of the futuristic vehicle amid a sea of helmeted and yellow-vested Tesla workers. (Photo by Frederic J. Elon Musk’s cybertruck has become the must-have motor for celebs and sports stars
Jason Kelce, brother of Travis, showed of his cybertruck with a humorous sticker
A close up of the sticker shows a Benjamin Franklin peeing on the Dallas Cowboys logo

However, some football stars are taking it to another level by customising their whips.

Jason Kelce, brother of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, modified his stunning motor with a cheeky add-on.

While another baller’s cybertruck features a glow in the dark wrap.

It all comes after Ji’ayir Brown was denied buying the Elon Musk-designed Tesla.

The 49ers safety was told by his advisor buying it wouldn’t have been viable given its price.

SunSport looks at the NFL heroes who DO have cybertrucks, and have gone to extraordinary lengths to make them unique – wowing billionaire Musk.

Jason Kelce

Kelce, 36, was a Philadelphia Eagles legend – playing his entire 13-year career with the team

Over the years, he never hid his dislike for the Dallas Cowboys.

And with this hilarious car sticker, which pays homage to the urinating image of cartoonist Bill Watterson’s Calvin from ‘Calvin and Hobbes drawing, he will be getting plenty of laughs on the freeway.

Kelce’s version features a drawing of a kite-holding Benjamin Franklin.

Instead of a Ford or Chevy logo, Franklin is seen urinating on the famous Cowboys star.

Kelce revealed he was a cybertruck owner in a podcast interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Although, he was ridiculed by fans who felt he needed something more fitting of his stature when it came to pick-up trucks.

He does own a 1987 Chevy Silverado, though.

Isiah Simmons

New York Giants star Simmons’ modified his Tesla so brilliantly, it even had Elon Musk wowed.

When a TikTok video of the linebacker’s matte white cybertruck went viral, the billionaire couldn’t help but comment.

He replied on X, “Nice” to the clip – showing his appreciation for wrapping the stainless steel vehicle.

Back in June, Simmons, 26, shared photos of the motor on Instagram – including one where he is standing on the vehicle.

Along with the white wrap, it features stunning white wheel caps.

The work was carried out by automotive design workshop, Abushi in New York.

Estimated costs for wraps start at around the $6,500 mark. You can bet Simmons’ work wasn’t cheap.

Eric Ebron

Former Detroit Lions tight end Ebron, now 31, played college football in Carolina for the Tar Heels.

And his cybertruck lets. you know exactly that.

It was designed by Dreamworks Motorsports, and has a satin black colour change wrap and 26-inch Giovanna Dicotto wheels, finished in gloss black with reflective UNC blue.

Emblazoned on the side of the truck it says Tar Heels, while his old number – 85 – also features.

CYBERTRUCK'S AMAZING SPECS

The interior is just as dedicative to his former college football team, with Carolina blue leather seats, matching dashboard and door panels.

Headrests and floor mats have the Tar Heels logo on them too.

But the coolest feature is the LED lights, which switch to various colours and means it glows in the dark.
