With a hut just down the road from popular East Sussex attraction Camber Sands, right on the beach, the street experts have been proven to be a popular choice with the people visiting the area.

On its menu you’ll find gourmet beef burgers, with your classic plain and cheese burgers, alongside their ‘special burger’ – a 6oz patty topped with melted cheese, bacon, sausage and egg.

There are also three types of chicken burgers and hot dogs and German sausages that come in different sizes.

This even includes foot longs if you’re feeling especially hungry.

Frankie’s was given the best Quick Bite accolade in the Tripadvisor Travellers‘ Choice Awards Best of the Best Restaurants 2024.

Tripadvisor picked out its winners by looking at the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings for restaurants from travellers over a 12-month period.

As well as having great tasting food, customers have voiced approval over Frankie’s cheap prices.

One customer who visited in June this year wrote on Tripadvisor: “After a lovely walk on Camber beach came across Frankie’s at the far end.

“Frankie’s offer an extensive range of really high end delicious burgers at very reasonable prices.

“Huge choice including one of the best vegetarian burgers we have ever eaten. Highly recommend.”

A plain beef burger will set you back just £5.95.

For £3 more you can get a foot long German sausage.

Customers also enjoy Frankie’s location with views overlooking the sea and Camber Sands beach.

Someone who visited in September this year commented on the review website: “Great views. Lovely location. Would recommend and will be coming back again at some point in the near future.”

The service at Frankie’s also helped earn it its place at the top of Tripadvisor’s list.

One customer who visited in the summer said he received service with a smile.

They wrote: “10/10 service with a smile with Frankie cracking jokes.

“I’m in my 50s and this felt like old school service where the customers matter. Thanks for that as I definitely find that important.”

Owner Frankie’s partner Naomi Ledsham, said they were over the moon to hear the news about winning the award.

She added: “To win this is just testament to the hard work of not only of Frankie but the team that work behind the scenes and of course the guys and girls serving front of house!”

Frankie’s recently introduced venison burgers to the menu, which Naomi said have been a big hit.

But it’s Frankie himself that Naomi said has led to so many good reviews.

She said: “Frankie is a boy out of South London who has been a retailer his whole life from running menswear shops, car showrooms and now food and ice cream.

“A real character whose values in whatever business he turns his hand to are old school values.

I make thousands as a professional honeytrapper… 500 women contact me every day – here’s how I know your man’s a cheat

PICTURE the scenario – you suspect your beloved boyfriend or husband is cheating on you… So what do you do?

You could confront them – or you could hire a TikTok influencer to try and lure them into a flirty conversation, to see if they remain loyal or take the bait.

Madeline makes thousands of pounds and helps thousands of women by exposing their cheating partners[/caption]

Honeytrapping isn’t a new phenomenon, but while it would have once conjured up images of female private investigators stealthily following love rats, it’s now something that can be done from behind a screen.

And while TikTok is most known for its viral dances and funny cat content, it’s increasingly being used to expose love rats too, by carrying out ‘loyalty tests’.

As relationship expert and Wingman founder Tina Wilson explains: “TikTok honey trapping is basically when someone catches a cheat ‘red-handed’ and they share it online – it’s a new play on the original ‘honeytrap’, when someone sets up a tempting situation to test their partner’s loyalty.”

‘I can get 500 loyalty test requests a day’

With over 100m ‘loyalty test’ posts, it’s certainly content that’s growing in popularity, and influencers such as Madeline Smith, 30, have helped establish the now-popular trend.

She has over 210k TikTok followers and has helped hundreds of British women by conducting loyalty tests on their partners, and has tested the partners of over 5,000 clients worldwide.

Madeline, from LA, says: “Depending on how much I’m posting online and on social media sites like TikTok, I can get up to 500 requests a day from women reaching out to me to loyalty test their partners.

“It’s popular content, as everyone is looking for love and so humans are just naturally drawn to that sort of video and ‘drama’ too.”

‘Eight out of 10 will fail’

Madeline started carrying out loyalty tests for clients a couple of years ago – and has seen demand surge.

She says: “I started off doing loyalty tests on more of an ad hoc basis helping friends who’d reached out to me for help initially.

“Then my fiance encouraged me to put it out there more on TikTok more focusing on just the loyalty test format two years ago so for the last few years it’s been more of an official service as demand has increased.

“Now I have a system and advertise it on my website as so many women reach out to me needing assistance – it’s completely confidential and I don’t get involved in anything that happens after the loyalty test has been carried out.

I’ve had some women who don’t consider it a fail unless he starts engaging in sexual chat, whereas other women think if he responds at all it’s a fail”

Madeline Smith

“Overall, I’d guestimate around eight out of 10 will fail – although this is a skewed statistic as women are usually reaching out about a partner who already have a sketchy history already – so it’s not that all partners cheat!

“A lot of women get in touch and just want to talk through it first, and some just submit their request online via my submission form.

“Everyone has different ‘breaking points’ so I try to figure it out on a case by case basis when working out what approach to take to put them to the test – I’ve had some women who don’t consider it a fail unless he starts engaging in sexual chat, whereas other women think if he responds at all it’s a fail.

“They often just need to know for sure that it’s not just in their head and they were right to be suspicious, and they need proof to be able to move on.

“In the beginning it was quite depressing, and it was really surprising to me what people were capable of, but not much shocks me now and it doesn’t really affect me now, and I’m in a happy relationship and am engaged.”

‘Your husband is cheating on you’

There are several ways in which cheats are exposed using TikTok.

Another TikToker used her platform to put a direct shout out to one unsuspecting lady called Michaela, to reveal a very specific scenario she’d encountered while out for dinner.

In one video liked over 284k times, she says: “If it were me I’d want to know…

“If your name is Michaela and your husband’s is Donald and you have two kids, one a little girl and a baby boy and you live in the Virgina area – your husband is cheating on you.

“I was out to lunch on Thursday at a restaurant and there was almost nobody there, but in the booth behind us was your husband and a woman by the name of Brittany.

“What really p****d me off was this was Brittany’s first time meeting your children.

“Your husband is cheating on you and he bought your children to meet his mistress.”

‘You single, right?’

It’s not just women carrying out TikTok ‘loyalty tests’.

The outcome of these tests, including screen grabs of the inbox messages shared are then shared publicly, and while the cheat’s identity is kept confidential, this content can easily go viral, and some are even making it into a lucrative business.

One male user was offering to do the loyalty test for other suspicious men for a £10 PayPal fee.

Once paid, he would then message the unsuspecting woman, initiating a flirty conversation to see how she would react.

“You single right?” he asks one woman as a test, and she responds: “Do you think you would get a reply if I wasn’t single? Respect me please.”

She gives him her number and the whole conversation is screenshotted, sent to the boyfriend and also uploaded to TikTok – where it’s been liked over 200k times.

A lucrative ‘business’

All 4 documentary Untold: Cheat Detectives, presented by radio host Daisy Maskell, first uncovered how lucrative this trend can be back in 2022, with Daisy revealing at the time there were people out there earning up to £1,400 a week exposing cheats.

Additionally, it helps users build a loyal following, which in turn helps the honey trapper earn recognition as an influencer, in turn helping them earn commission from their videos and gain sponsorship deals.

Tina says: “There’s big money in being a professional honey trapper, and there are bespoke honey trapping services and private detectives who list this under their services.

“Some users will even pay hundreds to find out if their partner will ‘like’ or ‘comment back’, with the honey trapper claiming to know they ‘got you where they want you’ when the person being investigated likes a photo back’.”

I can charge anywhere between $65 to $175 a time, depending on how quickly they want me to do it, so I can make up to a couple of thousand pounds a month”

Madeline Smith

For Madeline, it’s not all about the money, although she also admits it can be profitable.

She says: “I do some free work but also charge for my time and expertise as it’s a very nuanced skill – I’m a mum and I obviously can’t pay the bills on sunshine and rainbows!

“The amount I make each month really varies, but I can charge anywhere between $65 to $175 a time, depending on how quickly they want me to do it, so I can make up to a couple of thousand pounds a month I suppose.

“It can be profitable posting the loyalty test videos on TikTok but it’s not a huge moneymaker – I made just over $200 last month on views.

“But it’s good advertisement and women often contact me saying after watching my videos they finally had the strength to leave a bad relationship, which is so rewarding.”

‘Babes, red flag!’

UK based TikToker Dani Bose is another creator who has been ‘employed’ – although she declines payment – to put potential cheats to the test.

In one video she shared on TikTok, she shows the messages between herself and a suspicious girlfriend, who asks: “Hey babe, can you please test my boyfriend?

“He cheated on me about four months ago with my ex best friend and has promised he won’t do it again but there’s people saying he’s been talking to someone else and I just want to find out how loyal he actually is.”

She replies: “Babes, red flag!! If he cheated you should bin him! But yes no worries, are you OK with me using it on TikTok and keeping it all confidential?”

Promisingly during the chat, he initially says he has a girlfriend, but then says: “Been thinking about ending it… Especially with a sort like you messaging me.”

The video was liked over 29k times, and received over 1000 comments – many of which from girls begging for help testing their own men.

The perfect platform

Revelling in the drama of a cheat being exposed isn’t new, and even before the internet affair rumours would always be the focus of gossip and intrigue.

However, the platform lends itself to this sort of expose perfectly, with users able to easily seek out this sort of content using hashtags such as #cheatersgetcaught.

Tina says: “TikTok provides a perfect platform for this type of content because it is highly shareable.

“It ultimately taps into people’s fascination with drama, curiosity, gossip, as well as a strong desire to get justice!

There is a sense of satisfaction when the cheater gets exposed.”

Four red flags your partner is cheating

Private Investigator Aaron Bond from BondRees revealed four warning signs your partner might be cheating.

They start to take their phone everywhere with them

In close relationships, it’s normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones, if their phone habits change then they may be hiding something.

Aaron says: “If your partner starts changing their passwords, starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”

“You should also look at how they place their phone down when not in use. If they face the phone with the screen facing down, then they could be hiding something.”

They start telling you less about their day

When partners cheat they can start to avoid you, this could be down to them feeling guilty or because it makes it easier for them to lie to you.

“If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you any more or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.”

“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible and it’s an easy way to get caught out,” says Aaron.

Their libido changes

Your partner’s libido can change for a range of reasons so it may not be a sure sign of cheating but it can be a red flag according to Aaron.

Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating.  You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”

They become negative towards you

Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and to them, it will feel good, this can cause tension and anxiety within themselves which they will need to justify.

“To get rid of the tension they feel inside they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere.  Maybe you haven’t walked the dog that day, put the dishes away or read a book to your children before bedtime.  A small problem like this can now feel like a big deal and if you experience this your partner could be cheating,” warns Aaron.

Trust issues and jealousy

However, Tina advises thinking twice before being drawn in to testing your partner in this way.

She says: “TikTok honey trapping screams trust issues and jealousy amongst couples.

“There are roots in self-esteem and confidence issues with the honey trapper proactively out to catch their partner as they suspect the worst in them.

“It is not a positive outlook for any romance, even if the person being honey-trapped doesn’t cheat, there are evident trust issues that need working on a personal level.

“If the honey trapper has strong suspicions that their partner or love interest is cheating, or has a wondering eye, then they need to reassess the relationship, and inevitably their choices in picking a partner.

“Anyone who goes down this route needs to look at why they would want to do this.

“Do they really believe their partner is cheating?

“If so, why stay with and set up a honey trap?

“It’s better to walk away. Naming and shaming on TikTok is not a way of getting justice – it only will lead to more issues going forward and others being wary of you.”

Busy mum branded a ‘fat cow’ and ‘disgusting mess’ sheds staggering 10st – and shares her secret weight loss tips

A BUSY mum lost a staggering 10st after being cruelly branded as a “fat cow” and “disgusting mess” by strangers – leaving her too embarrassed to leave her own home.

Emma McGarry had struggled with her size since her teenage years and turned to food as a source of comfort.

The 37-year-old admits she was “completely addicted to food” and would gorge on takeaways or white bread – sometimes eating up to a loaf a day.

The mum, from Oldham, tipped the scales at 19st 10lbs at her heaviest and was a dress size 24.

But after changing her diet, she lost an amazing 10st 10lbs.

She is now a slinky size 10 and weighs 9lbs 2ozs.

Emma says: “I literally could not walk, I was on crutches, and I was too embarrassed to leave my own house.

“I ate loads of carbs and my biggest downfall was bread.

“I feel like a new woman now; I love swimming and walking. I love being a mum.”

Emma was slim and healthy in her teens until she suffered a knee injury whilst training with the RAF.

She could not complete her training and over the next few years, needed seven operations on her knee.

She was also stuck in an unhappy relationship.

Emma, who worked as an ambulance emergency call handler, says: “I turned to food for comfort.

“I was miserable in my relationship, and I was in and out of hospital with my knee.

“I just got bigger and bigger, and I lost my confidence.

“I’d eat if I was bored, if I was happy, if I was upset.

“Food was the answer to everything. I could polish off a loaf of white bread in one day.

“I loved pizzas, takeaways, anything stodgy.”

As she struggled to maintain a healthy relationship with food and piled on the pounds, Emma endured cruel abuse from strangers that left her feeling even more depressed.

“I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and I couldn’t even walk up the street,” the mum said.

Fibromyalgia is a long-term condition that causes widespread pain all over the body and muscle stiffness.

“If I went out, I’d get horrible abuse; ‘fat cow’ and ‘disgusting mess’.

“I had anxiety and depression and I felt ashamed of myself.”

‘TRANSFORMED MY LIFE’

By the start of 2016, by now relying completely on crutches, Emma realised she had to change.

She says: “I wanted to join Slimming World, but it took me six months to pluck up courage to actually join the group, I was so worried about being judged.

“Yet when I finally went in, I couldn’t have felt more at ease.

“The group leader, Tracey Mackey, was lovely. The group became like an extended family to me.”

In her first week, Emma lost half a stone.

Alongside her diet, she began hobbling around her garden for five minutes at a time.

Emma's diet before and after her weight loss

Emma’s diet before her weight loss was heaving on carbs and takeaway meals.

She loved white bread, pizza and stodgy meals.

As she turned to food for comfort during health and relationship struggles, she also had trouble controlling her portions.

The self described ‘food addict’ said she used to eat a whole loaf of white bread within a day.

According to the British Dietetic Association, a healthy portion size for bread is 34 to 36g – that’s about one medium slice.

Bread can be healthy source of fibre if you don’t have too much of it and stick to wholegrain, wholemeal, granary or seeded versions.

Emma’s diet after her weight loss

To help achieve her weight loss goals and shed a staggering 10st, Emma cut down on carbs and switched to eating healthy chicken wraps.

She also chooses omelettes and salad instead.

Emma said she indulges in diet coke too, which can be good swap for people trying to reduce their sugar intake.

But the NHS warns that having too much artificially sweetened foods and drinks aren’t necessarily healthy.

The mum makes sure to do a lot of her own cooking instead of ordering takeaways and drinks plenty of water too.

By December that year, she’d lost three stone.

At the start of this year, her weight loss 10lbs 10lbs. She now weighs 9st 2lbs and is a dress size 10.

She says: “It wasn’t all straight success.

“I had a bad relationship and I gained some weight, and the group was so supportive – they helped me get over it and get my weight loss back on track.

“We’re all friends for life.”

Tracey has swapped carbs for healthy chicken wraps, omelette and salad, and diet coke.

She is so thrilled with her transformation that she is now launching her own Slimming World Group in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

She says: “I really enjoy cooking again, I eat healthily and I drink lots of water.

“I’ve gone from hobbling round my back garden to doing charity walks, and I swim a lot too.

“I have literally transformed my life and now I hope to inspire others to do the same.”

How to lose weight safely

Losing weight should be a long-term commitment to healthier living, rather than any drastic measures.

The NHS tips – which can be adopted slowly – include:

  • Get active for 150 minutes a week – you can break this up into shorter sessions
  • Aim to get your 5 A Day – 80g of fresh, canned or frozen fruit or vegetables count as 1 portion
  • Aim to lose 1 to 2lbs, or 0.5 to 1kg, a week
  • Read food labels – products with more green colour coding than amber and red are often a healthier option
  • Swap sugary drinks for water – if you do not like the taste, add slices of lemon or lime for flavour
  • Cut down on food that’s high in sugar and fat – start by swapping sugary cereal for wholegrain alternatives
  • Share your weight loss plan with someone you trust – they can help motivate you when you have a bad day

Exact ‘weak’ detail on your rare nickel that makes it worth $109,250 – and the year that increases its price

OWNING a specific 1867 nickel might mean you have a valuable hidden gem in your collection.

One such coin sold for an astonishing price of $109,250 at auction, largely due to its unique characteristics, particularly its “weak” details that distinguish it from other coins.

The 1867 With Rays Shield Nickel recently sold for $109,250, showcasing its rarity and unique characteristics
Heritage Auctions
Graded PR66 by PCGS and certified by CAC, it features original striking with notable details identified by researcher
Heritage Auctions

The 1867 5C Rays PR66 Cameo nickel is an incredibly rare piece of numismatic history.

Graded PR66 by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and certified by the Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC), this nickel boasts original striking.

It also has distinctive features identified by researcher John Dannreuther, according to Heritage Auctions.

WHAT’S THE SITCH?

The coin’s obverse displays remarkable characteristics.

This refers to the left base of the “1” in the date positioned over the right edge of a dentil and the “7” being recut.

The lower shield is notably clear, free from roughness or die polishing, enhancing its appeal to collectors.

Additionally, the highest leaf below the letters “RU” in “TRUST” is fully detached from the shield, further adding to the coin’s uniqueness.

A defined area exists below the right arrow shaft.

Plus, tiny die polish lines are evident from the upper left of the shield to the nearest leaf.

ON THE FLIP SIDE

On the reverse, you can observe a slightly weak center ray below the second “T” of “STATES,” along with attenuated dentils, which are characteristic of Dannreuther’s Reverse A, State I.

The dating of the 1867 With Rays proofs reveals clandestine strikings that are significantly rarer than the 1866 With Rays proofs, perhaps by a factor of eight to one, per the auctioneering site.

While the Guide Book estimates about “25+” existing examples, that figure seems conservative, considering the probable restrikes.

This particular nickel showcases untoned, brilliantly reflective surfaces with just a hint of champagne patina at the centers.

Unlike the 1866 Rays coins, it lacks a center dot on either side, yet every leaf, shield stripe, and star is meticulously struck and boldly detailed.

What is a die break or error on a coin?

What causes such defects on coins and why are they so rare to find?

A die break, also known as a cud, is an error on a coin that is formed when a die, (a metallic piece that is used to strike a coin) is missing a piece near the rim.

When dies strike coins, they have a heavy impact and pressure and the metal from the blank part of the coin, known as the planchet, overlaps the area left by the missing piece of the die.

Coins with such deformities are rare thanks to the strict quality control measures at the US Mint.

When such errors do occur, they are often caught and destroyed.

However, those that slip through the net become huge collector’s items worth much more than their face value.

Source: Littleton Coin Company

The frosty devices are so well-defined that they nearly deserve a Deep Cameo designation.

TIMELY VALUE

The year 1867 is significant for collectors, marking a transitional period in minting techniques.

Coins from this year are not just rare; they symbolize a moment in American numismatic history that collectors cherish.

The specific characteristics of the 1867 With Rays Shield Nickel make it highly sought after.

There are also plenty of other coins that have errors that have driven up their values.

A single detail on the back of a coin makes it worth $114,000.

And a rim mistake on a nickel makes it sell for up to $20,500.

He carried the ball 25 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns, averaging six yards per carry.

FOX Sports’ sideline reporter revealed: “He spends more than a quarter million dollars on what he calls body maintenance.

“No fried food, no dairy, no gluten, no artificial sugars. Doesn’t eat until four or five o’clock during the season, maybe has a banana or avocado before practice.”

The costs include a personal chef who prepares all of Henry’s meals.

His epic fitness regime also includes cold therapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen, and massage therapy.

During the offseason, Henry works out twice a day at the SandersFit Performance Center in Dallas.

He works out seven days a week, meaning he has NO breaks.

His workout regime includes running hills, including up to 10 sprints on a 100-yard hill.

Henry does hammer curls with 80-pound dumbbells to work on his arms.

And he does Bulgarian split squats with 120-pound dumbbells to improve his legs.

In the offseason, his first meal is around 1 pm. During the season, he does not eat until 4 or 5 pm and then eats again around 8 pm.

When he does eat – the portions are enormous.

He also stays away from fried foods, gluten, dairy, or artificial sugars.

“I probably eat three chicken breasts, some rice, and broccoli,” he said.

“Then I have some gluten-free pancakes, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, home fries, and some steak.”

Before practice, he eats kale, an avocado, or a banana for energy.

Three days a week, he also takes IV fluids which contain vitamin E, Coenzyme Q10, and other nutrients.

Henry can certainly afford these huge expenses to keep himself in the best of shape.

He recently signed a two-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens worth $16 million.
