Dollar Tree’s $1.25 fall-inspired mugs are flying off shelves – they’re identical to Neiman Marcus but over 95% cheaper
CUSTOMERS at Dollar Tree have been rushing to get their hands on its new fall-inspired mugs.
With autumn upon us, the discount retailer is stocked with homeware and kitchen essentials to celebrate.
The brand-new Royal Norfolk Fall Leaves Ceramic Mug is an ideal addition for shoppers this season looking for an affordable addition to their coffee mug selection at home.
It’s 16 ounces and features a “vibrant fall leaf design,” per the product description.
While the mug itself is predominantly white, a subtle orange and red leave hangs over the outside top edge and trickles down the side.
“Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee in fabulous fall style!” the description exclaimed.
Dollar Tree recommends customers use the Royal Norfolk Fall Leaves Ceramic Mug for coffee, water, tea, or several other beverage options.
It also emphasized that the cup is “sturdy” and “durable” and could be strong enough for use in bars, coffee shops, and restaurants if need be.
The mug is also microwave and dishwasher-safe for easy use and cleaning.
The best part is it’s only $1.25 in stores.
Those who buy it online can also get a box of 12 for $15.
Some who already bought the mug gave it five-star reviews and praised its “quality, craftsmanship, and colors,” dubbing it “excellent.”

It’s also a near-exact dupe of the Vietri Autunno White Oak Leaf Mug from Neiman Marcus.
The Vietri Autunno mug similarly has a white color base with an orange leaf across its side.
It’s also dishwasher and microwave-safe.
However, it’s $46 for customers, about 95% more expensive.

HAND-CRAFTED APPEAL
Still, there are some crucial differences about the Neiman Marcus mug that might entice shoppers to pay more.
It’s made of handcrafted terra bianca quartzite Italian designers instead of ceramic, for one.
Neiman Marcus is also a renowned brand and praises the Vietri Autunno White Oak Leaf Mug as displaying a “rich, crisp, and elegantly autumnal scene.”
It’s also a bit smaller than Dollar Tree’s fall mug at 14 ounces instead of 16.
Neiman Marcus also has a large selection of other fall mug designs available.
Choosing between either item will ultimately come down to shoppers’ budgets and personal preferences.
Those who elect the Dollar Tree cup can also pair it with a fall tablecloth, selling for 98% less than a similar option from Crate & Barrel.
Dollar Tree is also offering a fall-inspired kitchen towel for 93% less than similar designs at Walmart to complete the look.
