That included a 27-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8 on Sunday afternoon away at the Alliegiant Stadium.
Head coach Reid has been looking to add to his roster depth ahead of the deadline on 5 November.
And they have managed to achieve that in the form of Josh Uche from the New England Patriots.
The pass rusher will join this week, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
The former second-round pick from Michigan has had an impressive season so far.
He has two sacks and three assists on the year.
The 26-year-old should be signed in time for the Chiefs Week 9 clash.
They take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
This comes after Reid made another trade to fill a much needed position last week.
The AFC West side – who are top of the division – snapped up DeAndre Hopkins.
The 32-year-old was traded for from the struggling Tennessee Titans.
He was captured to fill a position the Chiefs have a number of injuries in.
Rashee Rice is out for the season with a knee problem, along with Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown.
JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman also have hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

Reid was forced to come out after the clash to give an update on the Super Bowl MVP.
Thankfully, he told reporters Mahomes was doing “fine” after the ankle injury.
The 29-year-old had another impressive display against the Raiders, with Travis Kelce scoring his first touchdown of the campaign.
