Restaurants, STLCPD partner for ‘Dine out for TJ’ to aid injured officer

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The St. Louis County Police Department is partnering up with over 15 local restaurants to help raise funds for the recovery of an officer injured in the Ferguson protests.

The STLCPD will host the “Dine out for TJ” on Tuesday, Oct. 29 to help raise funds for the recovery of Ferguson Police Officer Travis Brown, 36, who was critically injured after being knocked to the ground during protests on the tenth anniversary of Michael Brown’s death in August. Brown is battling traumatic brain injury.

Through the event, local restaurants have pledged to donate a portion of their proceeds on Tuesday to help support Brown’s recovery. Over 15 restaurants in the St. Louis region are set to participate in the event, including Café Telegraph, Busloop Burger, Sybergs, and more.
