Michael Strahan left confused by Terry Bradshaw’s latest ‘baffling’ Fox NFL Sunday remarks over Saints ‘voodoo’

MICHAEL STRAHAN was left confused after Terry Bradshaw’s latest “baffling” remarks made on Fox NFL Sunday.

Terry Bradshaw made some bizarre marks about voodoo and the New Orleans Saints[/caption]

They were debating all the latest news, along with preparing for the huge showdowns for Week 8 of the 2024-25 season.

Bradshaw had moved onto the topic of the New Orleans Saints during the program.

The NFL team started the campaign winning the first two games.

They have since gone on to lose the last five in a row, in a humiliating collapse.

But Bradshaw believes their fortunes are about to turn around – due to New Orleans “voodoo”.

The 76-year-old even claimed he had connected Saints head coach Dennis Allen with a specialist.

The bizarre remark left Strahan and the rest of the Fox NFL Sunday panel in a state of confusion.

“I called Dennis Allen, the head coach of the Saints, I love the Saints,” said Bradshaw.

“I’m from New Orleans. I believe in voodoo, like all the people do in Louisiana.

“I called and I said listen, down in Louisiana where the tall pine trees grow lives a voodoo lady named Marie Laveau.

“I called Marie Laveau. She took her pot. She went into the Saints. They put all that potion in there.

“Then they had Pete Werner come over, he got him a cup of it.

“Then Taysom Hill, he got him a cup of it. Lattimore the corner, he got a cup of it.

“Carr, the quarterback, he took a cup, but he had to take some home he needed a little bit more.

The original Tom Brady

Tom Brady was left lost for words after Terry Bradshaw admitted he used his identity.

Host Curt Menefee drew Brady’s attention to a 1983 newspaper report that a man called Thomas Brady underwent surgery.

That was actually Bradshaw while he was still in his playing days with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bradshaw won four Super Bowls in his 13-year career under center in Pittsburgh.

The former Steelers quarterback explained, “When I checked in they said ‘you’re not going to get checked in under your name because you’ll get hassled, what do you want to go under?’

“I said, ‘Put me under Thomas Brady.’

“That’s how it happened.”

“All of these people are coming back.

“The Saints are decimated with injuries and Marie Laveau, God bless her, for coming in there.”

Strahan looked on in astonishment as Bradshaw went on the one-minute long rant.

Even host Curt Menefee turned to him to make a joke about his bizarre remarks.

“Did you have a cup of something over here? Because I’m wondering what’s going on.” he joked.

Fans described the comments as “baffling” on social media networking site X.

Bradshaw’s remarks have no help for the Saints, who went on to be smashed in their Week 8 clash.

They were hammered 26-8 by the Los Angeles Chargers, taking their record to 2-6.

Bradshaw has been an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday since 1994.

But there have been calls for the football veteran to retire at the end of this season.

He has made a number of odds comments over the year, which have left fans confused and worried.

The iconic quarterback has also had to battle a number of health issues.

New Orleans has been linked with voodoo for centuries over religious ritual beliefs.
