The New York Jets announced that defensive lineman Haason Reddick signed a modified one-year contract with the team on Saturday morning and is expected to make his season debut on Sunday.
Reddick was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Jets this offseason and expected a contract extension to accompany the move that never materialized.
After holding out since training camp, it appears the three-month wait for his debut with his new green team will come to an end tomorrow when the Jets take on the Patriots. according to ESPN.
Reddick’s failure to sign a new contract has cost him more than $10 million.
Reddick is said to have profited more than $2 million each from the preseason games and training camp. There was also a $250,000 training bonus and more than $100,000 from the minicamp that he left on the table. according to Spotrac.

Reddick has shut out the Jets’ first seven regular season games, losing $791,666 per game, which equates to almost $200,000 per quarter. That amounts to $5,541,662 this season.
