A judge has approved Leah Remini’s divorce from her 21-year-old husband, Angelo Pagan.
The 54-year-old actress announced her divorce from the 56-year-old actor at the end of August with a long post on social media.
It comes after the exes, who share 20-year-old daughter Sofia, signed their settlement earlier in October.
According to documents reviewed by TMZthe former couple’s single status will be legally restored in March 2025.
The ex-spouses reportedly reached a divorce settlement without the help of lawyers and only had a mediator present.

In touch reported that the settlement related to spousal support and the division of their assets.
In court documents obtained by the outlet, the actress, who represented herself, stated that the “written agreement” related to “their property and their marital or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is or has been submitted to the court.” ‘
It was reported that the agreement covered spousal support, property and attorney fees.
People previously reported, the exes had asked the court to abolish spousal support for both parties.
In her filing, Remini listed the date of separation as August 1, 2024 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
Remini, who played Carrie Heffernan on The King of Queens from 1998 to 2007, and Pagan issued a joint statement via Instagram confirming their separation.
With photos from then and now taped side by side, they wrote: “Well, here we are. After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce.”
The note continued, “This decision came after much thought and care, and as difficult as a divorce is, we approach this with a positive outlook because we know it is best for us.”

“We are proud of how we got through this together,” they said. “Yes, we’re sad, and we still have some figuring out to do as we move forward into our new normal — still together in many ways, and apart in some new ones.”
They added that they “both changed, as people do” and “became used to playing roles that no longer suited us.”
Remini and Pagan said their “bond is still strong,” but “it just evolved into something else,” adding that their “marriage was a great success.”
And they emphasized, “We want to be as transparent as possible here because we have shared our marriage so publicly for years, whether it was on our specials on VH1 or on our reality show, which ran for two seasons on TLC.”
