(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has identified the individual who died after being involved in a crash with an electric Onewheel.
On Oct. 6 at around 1:49 a.m., CSPD responded to the intersection of North Tejon Street and East Platte Avenue to investigate a crash between a motorcycle and a Onewheel.
Officers, members of the Colorado Springs Fire Department, and AMR provided medical aid to the operator of the Onewheel, and the man, identified as 52-year-old Benjamin Fox, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Days later, Fox died from his injuries.
This is the 42nd traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year. At this same time last year, there were 39 fatalities.
