With eleven days left until the elections, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are in a national impasse in the popular vote.

The last one New York Times and Siena College Survey the candidates have a tie of 48 percent each. The result further underlines the likelihood that it could be one of the closest general elections in decades.

But the findings are not a good sign for Harris, as Democrats have taken the lead in the popular vote in previous elections and still lost the Electoral College.

Trump saw an increase in a series of polls on Thursday, gaining momentum with less than two weeks left in the campaign.

On Friday, he heads to Texas to record a podcast with Joe Rogan, while Beyonce will appear in Houston with Harris.

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are locked in a major new poll

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are tied in a major new national poll.

According to the New York Times and Siena College poll, both the Republican and Democratic nominees are at 48 percent of the vote.

The result is a bad sign for Harris, as Democrats have maintained a lead in the popular vote in recent elections even as their candidate has lost the Electoral College.

Harris has also fallen back slightly from the last time the poll was conducted earlier this month, when she had a one-point lead.

Ultimately, regardless of the popular vote, the election will be decided in seven key battleground states, where the two candidates are also competing neck and neck.

Donald Trump is using a new turnout talk at his rallies — telling MAGA wives to push their husbands to get their “fat butts” off the couch to do their civic duty.

Trump tried it Thursday evening during his rally in Las Vegas, in a plea for early voting in a closely contested state. “From now until November 1, Nevada polls are open for early voting every day. So get your husband. Hank: Get the hell off the couch, Hank! Get up, grab that fat thing of yours – we’re going to vote for the president. We’re going to change our country, Hank. Come on, let’s go, Hank,” to cheers from his crowd.

Earlier Thursday in Phoenix, it was Jimmy who needed a motivational kick in the butt. “Jimmy, let’s go. Let’s go. Jimmy, I’m not going to use foul language. Get off the couch. You’re going to vote, Jimmy, you’re going to vote. We’re going to save our country, Jimmy, we’re going to save our country.’

His pitch comes after a new YouGov poll showed Trump with a 55-40 lead among those who said they planned to vote on Election Day, while Harris led 63-32 among those who planned to vote by mail or absentee voting.

What happens if the election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris ends in an electoral college tie?

As the 2024 election season heats up, Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are locked in a close race that could come down to just a few thousand votes in several battleground states.

But with polls saying the race is too close to call, and perhaps the closest in modern history, the question is whether presidential candidates from both major parties will get the necessary 270 Electoral College votes to win. to win the November 5 elections outright.

Each candidate must find a path to victory that inevitably winds through a crucial stage — and currently within the polling margin of error-swing states.

But even then, there is a scenario where the election results in neither candidate gaining the required majority in the Electoral College and could result in a 269-269 tie.

So what then? Well, it’s happened before – albeit not in 200 years!

“Kamala’s migrant invasion, brought to us through gross incompetence, disqualifies her from even thinking about being president,” Trump said.

“We’re kind of a dumping ground,” Trump said. ‘We are like a garbage can to the world.’
