The 59-year-old driver allegedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the parked car, according to a Honolulu police statement shared with KSLA.

Danser, who was a passenger in the car, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but could not be saved.

She died of her injuries on Tuesday.

“Magical is the way to describe her,” her brother, Jake Danser, shared with KSLA.

“Sarah had this positive energy about her that just really filled the environment that she was in.”

Her dad meanwhile, said, “I actually saw how much of a difference she made in the lives of others.

“I think she saved my life once, diving in Indonesia.”

The avid adventurer appeared on the survival series in 2017 before returning the following year for the all-stars spin-off Naked and Afraid XL.

Last year she starred in Fight to Survive.

Her Naked and Afraid costar Melissa Lauren described Sarah as “one of the most adventurous souls I’ve ever met”.

“She wasn’t only a fierce survivalist on Naked and Afraid (she completed XL in South Africa with me), but a breast cancer survivor who kept an inspiring and positive attitude through her treatment,” the fellow TV star said.

The driver of the car was hospitalized in serious condition on Sunday.

A woman who was in the parked car at the time of the crash was hospitalized in serious condition.

A man who was also in the parked car refused treatment, police said.

Police said speed appeared to be a factor, but not drugs or alcohol.
