Inspiring young Aussie celebrates 21 days of being drug-free and shares his top advice for others striving for the same goal

A young Australian said he's motivated to break free from his destructive habits by 'making my mind, body and soul stronger than ever'

An inspiring young Australian has gone drug-free for 21 days and is encouraging others to join him on the journey.

The young man has been sharing videos on social media, documenting his powerful experience of living without drugs, cigarettes, alcohol or vaping.

In his most recent video he proudly announces that he has been clean for three weeks.

‘It’s going to be tough. “I have now been free from drugs, cigarettes, alcohol and vaping for 21 days,” he said. “Just believe in myself and use sheer willpower and nothing else.”

He also gave some advice to others who may be struggling with addiction.

“I just want you to know that when you decide to stop doing things, your brain goes into overdrive.

‘You’ll be stressed, you’ll go crazy, everything will freak you out, the littlest thing will put you into overdrive.

“I just want you to know it’s okay. You can get frustrated, you can get angry, you can get upset and you can bawl your eyes out.

“But just stay focused. “There’s going to be so many factors that are going to take a toll on your brain and try to beat you and beat you and beat you before you just fall into it and succumb to it,” he said.

‘Dig deep within yourself and know that you are worth it and that you can live a good life.

“It’s going to be hard, your brain has been fed all these negative things your whole life, and when you take that away your brain is fighting for it, it’s screaming for it.

‘You won’t be able to sleep, you won’t be able to eat properly, you won’t be able to go to the toilet, every little thing will be a frustration.

“You’ll have to learn to deal with the smallest emotions again, and that’s all part of it.”

He had an inspiring message for his followers, saying he remains motivated as he transforms his life.

“Just know that it can be done… there are a lot of consequences of life, but you just have to believe in yourself and keep moving forward, man.”

In a previous video, he revealed why he started his journey to get clean.

“I haven’t been the best person in my life lately, or for anyone else in my life.”

‘It really is time for change. I’m getting rid of my destructive habits.’

“I chose the hardest time in my life to quit so I can build my mind, body and spirit stronger than ever.”

He said he has moved on and is just focusing on the future.

“A lot of people from my past life come back into my life and try to pull me down and push me down and bring up past issues.”

“Honestly, none of that matters… it’s all in the past for a reason.”

Many Aussies praised the young man for tackling addiction

‘You’re doing great! Absolutely inspiring,” one person wrote.

‘I don’t know you, but I am so very proud of you. I’m going through this with my husband and loving an addict is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”

He’s trying and keeps trying, that’s all I can ask for,” wrote another.

‘Good job, keep going!! We can also do anything we set our minds to. Always believe that and NEVER give up. You got this,” a third wrote.
