LA GRANGE, N.C. (WNCT) — On Tuesday morning, two students at North Lenoir High School got into an altercation in the cafeteria.
School staff and a school resource deputy were already on scene and able to quickly diffuse the situation. During the fight, one student had a pair of scissors. Three students have been placed on a 10-day suspension. No serious injuries happened during the altercation and both juvenile suspects will face criminal charges.
The school had minor disruption but has resumed a normal schedule.
