There’s a ‘Brat’ themed Halloween party coming to Manchester

Jealous of all the tour videos plaguing your social media? Now you can be ‘so Julia’ with all your friends at a club night dedicated to Charli XCX’s monumental album.

2024 may have been the year of ‘Brat Summer’ but it’s also extending its title now to ‘Brat Year’ since the release of XCX’s remix album.

The latest Brat edition Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat (yes, that’s the real title) even had a special listening party held in a record shop exclusively in the north.

Brat was originally released in June with the first remix coming out before the standard edition of the album with ‘Von Dutch’ receiving a warm welcome from Addison Rae and usual producer A. G. Cook.

However, the news of a potential remix concept sparked after the second drop ‘Girl So Confusing?’ which had Australian musician Lorde laying down vocals on the hit.

In the past month ‘Guess’ has seen virality across social media platforms due to its eye-catching music video and new verse provided by pop megastar Billie Eilish.

Every song on this remix album has a feature credit attached to it with a roster of artists including Ariana Grande, Bon Iver, Kesha and more.

Aitchinson – known more famously as the electropop queen, Charli XCX – is also nominated for several awards at this year’s MTV EMAs 2024 which is being held in Manchester.

This Manchester city centre establishment was founded in 2008 and has hosted lots of parties throughout its time as a music and bar venue, even hosting a ‘Pink Pony Rave’ at the end of November.

Also running on the same night, ‘So Fetch’ is a 2000s music night dedicated to acts like Rihanna, Avril Lavigne and Amy Winehouse.

Landmark music venue and club-night aficionados, The Deaf Institute, are hosting the event on Friday. 1 November from 11pm-3am so you can brat the night (and early morning) away.

So if you’re still looking to sort your plans for Halloween in Manchester this year, tickets for the fittingly titled ‘Brat Halloween the remix party but still totally Brat’ are already on sale HERE.

But even if you do think Brat Summer is over, don’t worry, this spooky season has lots to offer, with a whole host of events spanning the next week and even into November.
