Steph Curry arrives 22 hours late to celebrate only sister’s special day – and wife Ayesha steals spotlight

STEPH Curry showed up late to celebrate his only sister’s birthday – so it was only right for his wife Ayesha to steal the show.

The Golden State Warriors star point guard, 35, beat the buzzer in close fashion to celebrate his youngest sister Sydel Curry’s birthday.

This week, Sydel turned 30 years old – the same age as her brother and NBA player Seth Curry.

The Curry family celebrated Sydel’s pre-birthday party which had a cowboy theme to it.

Steph, however, only revealed his presence late.

“Happy birthday Flossssssss!! 30 on em!” the four-time NBA champion said on his Instagram story as Flossy seemed to be Sydel’s nickname.

However, people spotted that Steph made the social media post with just two hours left of her birthday.

He was 22 hours late in his announcement, while his wife Ayesha posted a message on her Instagram story to wish Sydel a happy birthday at exactly midnight.

Ayesha shared numerous pics of Sydel with a message that read, “And just like that she’s 30!!! Happy Birthday, @sydelcurrylee I love you!”

Sydel is married to Damion Lee, who plays in the NBA and was a former teammate of Steph’s.

Lee and Curry won a championship together in 2022.

Sydel put together a cowboy-styled party with just her lady friends and family members.

Ayesha and her mother, Sonya Curry, attended the gathering.

Sydel shared a highlight reel from the party with the caption, “Straiightt down the hatch for the 30th birthday trip in Jackson Hole.”

The caption was a reference to the numerous alcoholic shots that the group drank at the festivities.

Of course, Steph didn’t attend the party.

Sydel is a content creator with over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.

She also owns a luxury wine brand, Domaine Curry, in partnership with Ayesha.

As for Steph, he will be entering his 16th season in the NBA.

The Warriors will be playing their season opener versus the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

Steph will hope to win the fifth ring of his career.
