Shoppers escaping the cold weather for a sunny getaway can pick up the skincare item for a fraction of the price of other sunscreens.
The Daily Facial Sunscreen with SPF 40 is available for $8.99 from Trader Joe’s.
Described as oil and fragrance free, the lotion is advertised as being water and sweat-resistant for 40 minutes.
According to manufacturers, it is also designed to apply without leaving a greasy finish.
“If thick, sticky formulas have you forgoing your daily dose of necessary SPF, then this is the sunscreen for you,” the company explained.
The “translucent” product is formulated for quick absorption, giving you a matte finish rather than a ghostly appearance.
Trader Joe’s described the formula as “stellar and marvelous,” revealing it has been created for everyday use.
The brand also pointed out the low price point in comparison to similar products.
“We’re selling each 1.7-fluid-ounce tube of TJ’s Daily Facial Sunscreen for a fraction of what we’ve seen similar formulas sell for at big-box beauty boutiques,” Trader Joe’s said.
