STARBUCKS has partnered with Universal Pictures to celebrate the release of Wicked, the movie with two new colourful beverages.
Wicked is coming to life in theatres on November 22, 2024, and the two new drinks will be available at Starbucks locations nationwide before the film lands.
If you need something to wet your whistle before belting out a Wicked theme song with Ariana Grande, then the Starbucks film themed drinks are just what you need.
The two beverages added to the menu are inspired by Glinda and Elphaba from the movie and are available to purchase from October 22, 2024.
Wicked potions
If you can’t decide which new Starbucks beverage to try then here’s a low-down on both.
Glinda’s Pink Potion
Just like the films character, Glinda’s Pink Potion doesn’t hold back on the frills.
This mango dragon fruit Starbucks refresher is a blend of creamy coconut milk, ice and a scoop of real, freeze-dried dragon fruit.
It is topped with non-dairy strawberry foam, and finished with a touch of sprinkles to add to the magic.
Elphaba’s Cold Brew
Much like Elphaba, this drink could be misunderstood because it’s green.
But don’t be fooled, this green beverage is bold and every bit sweet and refreshing.
Starbucks cold brew is a chilling blend of coffee beans, sweetened with an expected twist of peppermint-flavored syrup.
This cold brew is topped with a non-dairy matcha foam and colorful green candy sprinkles for that whimsical edge.
Wait there’s more
In addition to the beverages, starting October 22, customers can also find other Wicked-inspired merchandize up for grabs.
Wicked Starbucks cards and Land of Oz themed drinkware will be available in stores from November 7, 2024.
There will also be a variety of tumblers, and cold cups in eye-catching shades of green, pink and gold to choose from.

How to order?
The Wicked themed drinks will be available to purchase at participating locations in the United States, Canada and select international markets, including Latin America and the Caribbean, South Africa, and Asia Pacific.
They will be available for a limited time only.
Whether it’s Glinda’s pink potion, or Elphaba’s cold brew you’re after, each can be ordered in store or at any participating Starbucks drive-thru.
Advanced orders for pick-up, take out, or even to drink-in can be placed through the Starbucks app and website.
Wicked the movie
Wicked released its full-length trailer, and fans already labeling it as this year’s must-see film.
The 2003 Broadway smash, based on the 1995 American novel of the same name, has been made into a movie directed by Jon M. Chu.
The new film stars Tony Award-winning star Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba Thropp, also known as the Wicked Witch of the West.
It also stars Grammy Award-winning singer Ariana Grande as Glinda, known as the Good Witch.
