Ex-Abercrombie CEO Mike Jeffries ‘arrested in sex trafficking investigation’ over ‘abuse of young men at sordid parties’

THE former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch has reportedly been arrested after he was investigated for sex trafficking.

Mike Jeffries has been accused of exploiting young men for the all-American fashion brand.

Mike Jeffries, Abercrombie & Fitch CEO, has reportedly been arrested

Jeffries, his partner Matt Smith, and a third man, Jim Jacobson, were arrested on Thursday in the federal investigation, sources told ABC News.

Prosecutors started investigating the ex-CEO in January – one year after ex-models accused him of abusing his power to take advantage of them.

In the suit, alleged victims called the fashion brand a sex trafficking scheme in disguise.

Lawyers for accuser Brad Edwards said, “As we laid out in our lawsuit, this was an Abercrombie-run, sex trafficking organization that permeated throughout the company and allowed the three individuals arrested today to victimize dozens and dozens of young, aspiring male models.”
