Purchasing utensils is considered as auspicious since it is a tale that Lord Dhanvantari came with Amrit Kalash on the day of Dhanteras, symbolizing immortality and health.
Dhanteras in 2024 will be on 29th October. Trayodashi Tithi: 29th October-10:31 am to 30th October, 1:15 pm. The Dhanteras Date based on Udaya Tithi will fall on 29th of October. On this day, the auspicious time for worship is between 6:31 pm and 8:31 pm, in which 2 hours are considered auspicious for worship. Pradosh Kaal is the time and worshiping within this period gives special benefits.
