Dollar Tree’s $1.25 tool helped me completely clear my driveway in minutes – it’s much cheaper than anything on Amazon

A SAVVY home-owner has revealed how a handy tool that costs just $1.25 from Dollar Tree helped them clear their driveway in just minutes.

A TikTok user called RebmaEiram has showed viewers how, with a little bit of tweaking, the affordable item can be used to perfectly dig out their driveway lines.

In a short video uploaded to the popular social media platform, Rebma picks out a three-pronged metal cultivator – that indeed costs just $1.25 from Dollar Tree.

Ordinarily, the tool is used to prepare soil for planting, weeding, and aerating soil around plants, and is usually found inside a typical garden shed.

However, in this instance, the TikToker shows how they bent back the middle prong to create a useful tool of their own.

Using this, they can now simply use the improvised tool to remove weeds and dig a little trench around their driveway – a small job that merely took 20 minutes.

Rebma added that the cheap metal cultivator from Dollar Tree was much cheaper than the similar items available from places like Amazon.

A few commenters underneath the video were mightily impressed.

One impressed user wrote: “They have a similar one at ACE that is $55, great deal!”

Another simply said: “Great idea!”

This comes as an expert mechanic warned his viewers to avoid chain auto parts stores when shopping for engine oil – as the same oil can be bought for much cheaper.

Scotty Kilmer, who has over 50 years of experience working on autos, said drivers should head to Costco or Walmart after they know what to look for.

Elsewhere, drivers were left furious recently after a popular automaker failed to deliver on last year’s promise to bring their vehicles to Amazon.

Hyundai and Amazon announced their partnership last year, leaving car lovers excited to see what online vehicle sales would look like – but the program never launched.

In November 2023, the giant companies promised that auto dealers would be able to sell cars on Amazon’s US store in 2024.

With just two months left in the year, dealerships are frustrated as it seems the calendar will close without any movement in the pilot program, which was set to make Hyundai the first brand available to buy online.
