Yankee Candle quietly drops 12 new holiday scents – but fans still ‘waiting 6 years’ for a favorite to return


THERE’S nothing like a cosy candle to get your in the holiday spirit – and Yankee Candle are known for their delicious scents.

The brand recently dropped 12 brand new scents for the holiday season, but fans are still begging for the return of an old favorite.

The new candles are available for just $24.99 each, and there are some stunning scents to choose from.

For the mint fans, there’s the North Pole Hideaway candle, which is described as a “fresh and clean fragrance” with tops notes of “sparkling snowflakes, frosted greens, chilled bergamot” and middle notes of “arctic mint, icy air, glacial water”, and base notes of “snow powder, white must and soft amber.

If you prefer something a little warmer, why not pick up the Red Apple Wreath candle?

The product boasts the “festive aroma of sweet apples, cinnamon, walnuts and maple” – what’s not to love?

In fact, shoppers have already been leaving perfect five star reviews for the candle online.

One wrote: “It is the perfect winter scent and this candle can really cause the room to smell amazing. It’s potent but not overwhelming.”

Candle fans have also been raving about the Sparkling Cinnamon option, which also has plenty of rave reviews.

“Wow! This candle smells great. I’m not a huge candle person in general but this one is perfect for the holidays and makes my house smell so warm and wonderful,” one happy shopper wrote.

The other new Yankee scents include, Cookies By The Fire, which has a a sweet and spicey scent, and there’s the Tree Farm Festival candle, which smells like “horse-drawn hayrides, hot cider, freshly made wreaths.”


Or maybe you’re a fan of woody scents, in which case the Snow Globe Wonderland candle is the one for you.

You can also pick from ’Tis the Sea-Sun in Sydney, Balsam & Cedar or Christmas Cookie for your festive candle fix.

But despite the new options, some Yankee Candle fans are still lusting after a scent that has been discontinued.

Posting on TikTok, one fan revealed they hope the Holiday Lights candle will make a return each holiday season.

But afteryears of bitter disappointment, it seems unlikely the brans will bring the fan favorite back.

“I’ve been wating six years for them to bring it back,” the candle lover said on in the social media clip.

“Somebody please tell them I’m tired of the cinnamon and all the other candles they try to get you to buy. I want the Holiday Lights candle back,” he added.

With a jasmine and praline scent, it’s no wonder the shopper was keen to see the return on the candle – it sounds incredible.
