BRITISH military veteran and star of SAS: Who Dares Wins Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox has shared his thoughts on this year’s Call of Duty.
Speaking to The Sun at a preview event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in London, Fox says movement feels better than ever.

“The thing that is key in the game is you’ve got to focus on your movement, where you’re moving from and to, where the other team members are, and how you work within the team.”
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, developer Treyarch is revolutionising first-person-shooter controls with Omnimovement.
This enables you to sprint full pelt with 360 degrees of motion, whereas previously you were limited to only sprinting forwards.
It results in a faster, more fluid experience that’s closer to how people move in the real world.
“Obviously, it’s like the icing on the cake. As far as I’m concerned, it brings it properly to life.”
Fox was accompanied by fellow Special Forces veterans Anthony ‘Staz’ Stazicker and Louis Tinsley to detail a brand-new DLC pack coming to Black Ops 6.
The pack is called Endeavour and features a stealthy dark SC1 operator skin inspired by British counter-terrorism units from the ‘90s.
It also includes the Dead Of Night emblem, Feeling Froggy weapon sticker, Not Alone weapon charm, and Going Commando spray.
Endeavour is a collaboration between Call of Duty and Thrudark, the high-performance outerwear company all three men co-founded.
Proceeds from sales of the pack will go towards Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization that prepares veterans to compete for high-quality jobs.
“The stuff that the operator is wearing, it exists. You can buy it for real.”
“[Treyarch] actually asked us for that, to send them the physical product so that we can scan it into the game.”
Fox also detailed his vision for the future of warfare, outlining what he thinks lies ahead for soldiers on real-world battlefields.
That future, says Fox, contains armies of robotic soldiers.
“If it does happen, which I think it will, I think the unit that employs those robots needs to have like a secret duress word that they can just say and it shuts down.”
Would he feel comfortable ever joining one on the battlefield?
“I think I’ve fought alongside a few robots!”
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25, 2024, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
