A clip which features two female voices discussing nightclub etiquette and implying that everyone at a nightclub is part of the same family has been shared in over 135,000 videos since early October. Thousands of Users have been posting the videos across social media.

The video is christened ‘In Da Clurb, We All Fam’ and was originally from the Comedy Central sit-com ‘Broad City’ with the users lip-syncing to it.

Media house USA Today has revealed that it has been used in 135,000 videos since hitting the internet. The video starts with one female asking the other,

“Do you know them?,”

 The other female replies,

“No, but in da clurb, we all fam.”

The first female does not understand to which the other female again said,

“In da clurb, we all fam,” the person says, again.”

The first female still does not fathom the words when another reply comes,

 “In the club, we are all family. Are you racist?”

The video was first lip synced and uploaded by comedian Maggie Winters on TikTok. Fellow TikToker Connor Woods joined her and soon the video raked in 12 million views and other TikTok users started picking it up.

The video also caught the fancy of Celebs and influencers who also joined the fun. Pop star Sabrina Carpenter also could be seen lip syncing to the audio and she captioned it 

“My 30 year old fans trying to talk to my 12 year old fans.”

The other prominent personalities included Olympic star and American gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, “Dancing With the Stars” partner Rylee Arnold.

Clip From comedy television show “Broad City”

 The clip is from a comedy television show written by and starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, “Broad City”. It ran for five years from 2014 to 2019 on Comedy Central. It also began as a web series of the same name, which ran from 2009 to 2011.

The show was based on the lives and friendship between Glazer and Jacobson and in the form of characters Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler who struggled to make it big in New York City. The clip which is related to the viral videos is from Season 3, Episode 7, titled “B&B-NYC,” and was aired on March 20, 2016.
