The £35 Aldi Specialbuy that dries your laundry FAST without you turning on the radiator

OF all the complaints I have about winter, there’s nothing worse than washed laundry that stays damp for days.

Luckily, Aldi has an energy-efficient solution that’ll save you from turning on your radiators – and for a bargain price.

Aldi’s Ambiano heated clothes airer is a great way to reduce energy costs this winter[/caption]

Ambiano Heater Airer, £34.99

The Ambiano Heater Airer costs £34.99 and features 18 heated bars that can hold up to 10kg of your washed clothes.

And rather than having to fork out for an additional cover to help speed up the drying process, it comes with one included – you really can’t say fairer than that!

It’s a nifty little design that’s not only lightweight but is foldable too, so you can store it away easily when you’re not using it.

And if you’re worried about how it’ll fare with long-term use, it comes with a three-year guarantee.

Just hold onto the receipt in case you have any issues.

Heated airers have become an increasingly popular way to save money on your energy bills when it comes to laundry day – plus they can help prevent damp by drying clothes faster.

I’d go as far as to say that every home needs one.

Why turn on the central heating every time you need to dry a load of washing, when you can simply unfold one of these babies and get your clothes dry quickly and efficiently?

Best of all, they’re of course very cheap to run.

I’ve calculated the running cost of Aldi’s airer (based on the current average electricity cost of 24.50 pence per kWh) and found that it should cost you just 6p an hour to run, which is an absolute bargain.

In my eyes, it’s perfect if you’re after a budget entry-level heated airer – but if you’ve got more to spend, Aldi is also selling the Ambiano Heated Upright Airer.

It’s a far larger design, with double the bars (36 compared to the smaller version’s 18 bars) and once again it comes complete with a drying cover as well as two mesh shelves and two peg hangers.

It’s priced at £79.99 and at 300W, costs 7p an hour to run.

That makes it a great option for getting through larger amounts of washing at an unbeatable price.

Plus don’t forget to offset all the moisture that comes from drying clothes, by heading over to our tried and tested selection of the best dehumidifiers.

If you’re still shopping around, I recently covered a discount on a Lakeland heated clothes airer, which was reduced in price.
