CHILLING new CCTV shows a potential suspect leaving a Soho nightclub where a student was stabbed to death 20 years ago.

Her murder on March 1, 2004, has remained unsolved – with police now offering a £20,000 reward for information.

Officers have also released CCTV of a man who they believe is responsible for killing Camille.

He can be seen entering Piccadilly Circus Tube station shortly after she was stabbed to death.

The suspect was wearing a dark jacket with a large “Cleveland Indians” logo on the front, dark jeans, white trainers and a hat believed to be a baseball cap.

He has been described as black, aged 20 to 25, 5ft 5ins to 5ft 8ins.

Camille moved to the UK from Jamaica in 2001 to study as a nursery assistant in Birmingham.

She came to the capital two years later for better career prospects and at the time of her death was living in South Norwood.

Camille took a job at the Blue Bunny Club to help fund her training in the heart of Soho’s sex district.

The club offered female company for a short period of time but no sexual activity took place.

On the night of her killing, Camille was working on the door when a man approached her at around 6.30pm.

He paid his £5 entry fee and went to a private area with the student.

The man was then handed a bill for £375, which he could not afford to pay, so he was instead handed £80 and escorted to the exit.

He left but at around 7.10pm, Camille’s killer was seen entering the doorway to the club before fleeing quickly towards Great Windmill Street.

Camille screamed and staggered down the stairs into the club where she told her horrified colleagues she had been stabbed in the chest.

Tragically she couldn’t be saved and was declared dead shortly after from a single knife wound to the heart.

Police are now trying to track down the figure in the CCTV, as well as another man who attended Kennington Police Station two days after the murder.

He asked to speak to a CID officer about the killing but left before handing over any information.

That man has been described as white, around 35 years old, 5ft 8ins tall with defined cheek bones and light brown hair.

Anyone with information can call police on 020 8785 8267 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
